Great place and even better owners

  • 5 of 5

Best VRBO experience I have ever had. House and boat dock were perfect for my son and I. We both caught largemouth bass, white bass, crappie and striped bass within 5 minutes from the house. Owners went beyond any expectations I could have had, plus a great neighbor who helped me launching and recovering my boat. I would recommend this rental to anyone.

Very nice, neat, clean home away from home

  • 5 of 5

Our family of five adults stayed at the cabin over the week of Thanksgiving. Micah was VERY easy to deal with and patiently answered every question we had. He even changed his plans to enable us to extend our stay.

The weather was cold and wet during our stay, so unfortunately we weren't able to take advantage of the outdoor amenities and the dock. However, other than the weather, our stay was very comfortable. Pretty much everything we needed (miscellaneous kitchen supplies like oven mitts and corkscrews, extra blankets, detergent for laundry and the dishwasher, etc) was supplied and easy to find. The cabin got a bit chilly after dark, but the portable heaters in each bedroom did a good job of keeping us warm at night. The cabin felt very spacious, and all of us had plenty of room to spread out.

The only downside that we experienced was the remoteness of the cabin. Our plans involved a lot of traveling to see friends and family in the area, and it was a long drive just to get to the highway. However, I can certainly see that being an advantage rather than a drawback for some!

From the five starts, you can probably tell we were very happy with our stay. We hope to visit the area again in the summer and hope we can stay here again.

The property was everything we hope for. Clean and very well kept. Nice gentle walk to the boat dock

The kids loved the fishing, caught lots of fish. Enjoyed the boating and tubing. This is a great place for our family to get together and enjoy the outdoors. Thanks Donna and Michal for letting my family enjoy this great property.

We had a great time. Thanks again

Relaxation at the lake!

  • 5 of 5

This property is beautiful and very well maintained! The house was gorgeous and the boat was pristine! We couldn't have asked for more! The decks were perfect for BarBQ and lake was peaceful, but tons of fun for kids! The owners were super helpful with all our needs! Thank you so much!!!

Perfect getaway for the family!

  • 5 of 5

This was our 1st family vacation. We enjoyed our stay so much, the cabin was perfect, the amenities, but best of all the lake. Hope we can come back at a different time of the year and enjoy it again.

Family Fun Time !

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great time. The house was nicely decorated, well maintained and clean. Awesome views from every window, great fishing and swimming. The kids had a blast with the paddle boat and everyone enjoyed the campfires with stories and s'mores. We had rain one day but found plenty to do inside with the games, books, movies and the playroom. We took an excursion (about 2 hours one way) to Eureka Springs and enjoyed the shops and even took the ghost tour at the Crescent Hotel. We drove to the state park in Russellville, about 30 minutes away, it was really pretty with a sandy beach swim area. Donna and Micah were prompt answering any questions we had. Overall our vacation was very stress free and relaxing. I recommend this cabin in the wood.
