Ever dream of a relaxing getaway in a home with a coastal chic feel? If so, this cottage would be the perfect getaway for you! A home away from home without the constant reminders of your 'to-do list' and a lot closer to the glistening white sand beaches of the Emerald Coast.

Sandy Haven was designed by Rosemary Beach's first Town Architect, Elizabeth Guyton. Elizabeth created our cottage in the Old Florida Cottage vernacular, the original design philosophy of Rosemary Beach.

Upon entering the house, you will be greeted with a cozy room just off of the kitchen, perfect for gathering while the chefs of your group are preparing a fabulous, 'after the beach' meal. With four comfy chairs and a large flat screen TV, it is perfect for entertaining.

In the kitchen you will find all stainless steel appliances and an open space for hosting AND cooking.

Also, on the first floor are the main living area and the dining room. Decorated in creamy greys and relaxing shades of blue, the main living area is a serene spot for all to unwind from the busy days of going to the beach, shopping at boutique downtown stores, and dining at both fine and casual restaurants in Rosemary Beach. The dining table seats six and could also be the perfect place to start one of your favorite family games with its ample space. French doors off of the living and dining areas open directly onto the boardwalk with direct access to the Coquina Pool. There is a half bath on the first floor as well.

As you go up the refinished pine stairs, you will find three bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom has a King sized bed and is accented with a soothing light green paint color. Accessories in creamy neutrals and a large flat screen TV are the finishing touches for this harmonious master suite with a private bathroom and balcony.

The second bedroom is furnished with two full sized beds and another large flat screen TV. The fun 'sea themed' throw pillows make this a perfect room for the kids or kids at heart.

In the third bedroom, you will find a queen sized bed and flat screen TV. Finishing up the bedrooms, this room has a unique feel with porcelain seahorse bedside lamps and a shabby chic dresser.

The 2nd full bathroom with a shower/tub combo completes the second floor.

With just a 2 minute walk to the beach, and the Coquina pool right outside, this home has it all. From tranquil decor to the perfect location, you couldn't ask for more.

1) We do not offer Travel Protection Insurance in our quotes. You may obtain one independently.

2) VERY IMPORTANT - WE DO NOT ACCEPT WIRE TRANSFERS. We accept Visa, MasterCard and AMEX only.

3) 3 bikes are included in the rental. To utilize, waiver must be signed and received before code provided. Please contact Saxon Smith with Bikes4U at 850.399.1230 with any bike questions.

4) CONSTRUCTION IS IN PLACE ALL OVER 30A. We cannot be held responsible for construction near the home.

Great house! Very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated! The location was perfect---right across from the Cocina pool, steps from the beach and into town. Definitely will come back to Sandy Haven in the future!

Disappoint

Property has a great location. That's about the only great thing about it. It needs attention. Shower curtains are rusted and nasty, broken/missing glass in kitchen cabinets, very poor lighting throughout house, making it very difficult to read at night. Don't even sit in the chairs with black pants on. Someone has obviously had a dog or other animal. My pants were covered in animal hair. Mattresses need replacing. The house has too good a location to not get attention. The owners have obviously not tended to small things along the way.

Owner's Response: I am very disappointed with this review and wanted to let you and future renters know that we have taken all steps to ensure that these items are taken care of. The owner would also like to extend her apologies as well. This home has had numerous return renters over the years and we have never had complaints so seeing this review was very surprising for us. We have already replaced the shower curtains and rods. The cabinets have open shelving (there's not supposed to be glass there), so I'm not sure what the reviewer meant about broken/missing glass. The home is pet friendly and we had a professional upholstery cleaner come in before this stay. We will do our best to make sure it is better taken care of after pet friendly guests from now on. Several mattresses in the home are brand new, so not sure which one in particular the reviewer was referring to? Maybe personal preference? Please feel free to reach out to me with any additional comments and concerns. We take these reviews very seriously and want to make sure that everything has been handled. Perfect location in Rosemary

This house is awesome. Perfectly located right off crosswalk 'C' right in the center of Rosemary on the south side of 30A. It's also about 20 feet from the Coquina pool....my baby monitor had a reception while I sat by the corner of the pool closest to the house! We just had my little family of 4 and it was way more room than we needed.

Great house. My family of 5 enjoyed the home very much. The best part was the location. Steps from the pool (but not so close that there was any noise) and only a block from the beach. It certainly helped that we had the best week of weather you could have asked for! Great home in a really great location. 30A Escapes was really easy to deal with. No problems whatsoever.

Wonderful Week of Warmth

Sandy Haven was a fantastic place to stay with five teenage girls for the week. The place was a perfect setting for the girls to have good clean fun for their spring break. The pool was just outside the front door, the beach a short walk away and the town a quick saunter down the street. The girls had a great time jogging on the beach, collecting seashells and riding their bikes around town. The house itself was a perfect size for the seven of us and had everything we could possibly need. My only warning was the house does tend to amplify sound but then again with five teenagers maybe any place would be a little on the noisy side.
