The ever popular Balaia Golf Village Resort in central Algarve is a picturesque resort of holiday apartments and villas. Balaia Golf Village facilities include its own 9 hole golf course with full practice areas and teaching facilities, 6 beautiful swimming pools, restaurants and pool bars, health club with indoor pool, gym, tennis courts and 24 hour reception. There is a supermarket, pharmacy, gift shop, two beauticians and an ATM on site .

The resort is within walking distance to two beautiful beaches: Maria Luisa and St Eulalia. For the more energetic the beaches surrounding Albufeira Old Town are within walking distance or a short taxi ride away.

Apartment 606 is a bright and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. It is one of the best situated apartments on Balaia with stunning views overlooking the golf course and within easy reach of the pools, shops, and Balaia's 24 hour reception.

Our apartment benefits from two separate sun terraces (one to the front and one to the rear of the property) enabling guests to enjoy morning, afternoon and evening sunshine, including the last rays of the setting sun. To make the mosts of the stunning views and the opportunity for outdoor living we have recently refurbished the main terrace overlooking the golf course to include two modern rattan sofas a large glass topped rattan table and a webber gas BBQ.

The lounge has a TV with access to multiple international channels. The apartment has its own broadband router and guests benefit from their own wifi access.

There is private parking directly outside the apartment.

Balaia Golf village has its own shops,restaurants and supermarket. Nearby are larger supermarkets, shops, Albufeira Old Town, 4 large sandy beaches, horse riding, safari drives.

In walking distance there are 2 wonderful beaches and plenty of restaurants.

Shuttle bus available from Balaia Village to Albufeira and return.

Taxi fares are very low and buses stop just outside the village.

You can also book bus trips from reception to: Lisbon; Algarve Shopping Complex where there are cinemas with the latest films in English, designer shops, 10 Pin Bowling and

lots of restaurants;

Vilamoura, with its Marina and Casino with an excellent musical show; and Water Parks including Zoo Marine for a great day out for all.

I have been to the complex on 12 different occasions and rented flats through reception and also Ownersdirect. This flat was one of the best. Perfect location overlooking the golf course and within 5 min walk to the main restaurant, bar, swimming pool and tennis courts. Very peaceful quiet location. We ate out all the time so cannot comment on the cooking facilities but it did seem well equipped. Everything was great in the apartment including the bedrooms, showers, lounge and outside facilities. The wifi was a bonus. Wish we new about the golf clubs and bat and balls as we paid to bring them.

Lovely holiday in Balaia

Just got back from a lovely stay in the apartment. It was just myself and my daughter who was 7 at the time of our holiday (Aug 2015). The apartment was very clean and spacious with a lovely view over one of the golf course greens. My daughter loved watching the golfers when we were on the large balcony.

There are six swimming pools on the complex and my daughter insisted on finding them all haha, which we did. They were all lovely and clean. We did walk to the nearest beach a couple of times which again was great.

We ate out most nights even though the kitchen is well equipped. There are several in walking distance - the 3 Marias been a favorite.

Over all a lovely apartment, great location and a fab holiday. I certainly will return and highly recommend this rental.

Excellent apartment

This is is a really lovely apartment in a beautful location on the superbly lush and tranquil Balaia golf complex. We have been many times to this apartment which is fitted to a very high standard. The balcony overlooks the golf course and you can take breakfast in the sun whilst watching the players tee off. The property is always spotlessly cleaned and well maintained. There are several excellent pools all within easy short walks of the propety and don't miss the Veranda Bar Restaurant for a coffee or light snack to a full evening meal. Balaia is a treat for a couple or the whole family as the kids will love it too an this apartment is a superb place to to base youself for a truley fantastic holiday!
