About Virginia Keenan
We are an Irish family and we have been living here, in this most beautiful of villages, for eleven years now and never tire of strolling through the country lanes helping ourselves to the occasional fig or cherry that grow in abundance by the side of the vines and the olive trees. We followed our dream and have raised our two daughters here in Cotignac and believe it is a little corner of paradise. We would love to share it with you. We will be here to meet you on arrival and look after you during your stay . Don't hesitate to call us for advice about the area or our house . We are waiting to hear from you. See you soon.

Thank you Virginia and Glen for sharing your beautiful oasis in beautiful Provence. The booking and communication with Virginia was very easy. I trusted her from the get go!
Our 2 families spent one week in the beautiful village of Cotignac which is now our favourite spot in Provence. Cotignac reminds me of a mini Aix-en -Provence. When asked our family what everyone liked the best about Provence they said "the villa"'.
The amenities, decor, cleanliness and location to the town was exactly what we hoped for.
We have recommended this property so highly to friends that it sounds like they will be heading there this August for their wedding anniversary.
Our family consisted of a 9 people with the younger members aged 20-27. Our only complaint is a week is not long enough!!!! We will return!!!

Thankyou Lynne. So nice to know that our house contributed to you enjoying yourvacation. We always do our best to ensure that it is comfortable and up to standard for all our guests.
Looking forward to being able to welcome you all again sometime in the future.

Our visit to Cotignac July/August 2017 was for a family wedding and was a wonderful experience.
Our family group of 7 adults and one child had a great time at the villa of Virginia and Glen. It is a spacious villa with plenty of room for everyone. It was well equipped with cutlery and crockery for family meals. The swimming pool was a major winner with all the family. We also enjoyed the reading material and the outdoor games and the TV for the child who had access to CBBC for his regular cartoons. The layout of the seating areas of the villa inside and out was well planned. It is flat and suitable for disability access with two bedrooms on the ground floor and three on the first floor. It has a spacious garden and was lovely to stroll around in the evenings or early morning.
The village of Cotignac is a beautiful place to visit and only a short walk downhill from the Villa. It is full of restaurants, shops of all kinds, bakery, craft shops, clothes, wine distributors, antiques, jewellery and hosted markets days on two days Tuesday and Thursday and a music festival during our visit.
The local region has a lot to keep you interested. We visited Nice, Cannes and went into Monaco to soak up the atmosphere of the French Riviera. We also visited the Lavender Fields and the largest canyon in Europe Gorges du Verdon – A spectacular French grand canyon with amazing views for those who enjoy the wonders of nature.
I would highly recommend a stay at Virginia and Glen's Villa in Cotignac where we were able to create happy, enjoyable family memories in a beautiful location which we will always treasure.
beautiful setting for a family get together
Les Fabres was a perfect setting for a family get together - we all had a very happy time.
Glad all the little ones had a nice time Vivien. We will hope to see you all again sometime soon. Virginia and Glen
It's always a pleasure to return to Cotignac and this gorgeous house. We really enjoyed using it as a base to tour around, it is perfectly situated in the centre of this beautiful part of Provence. It was an easy walk to village which is really lovely and typically Provençal. We'll be back!
We had a wonderful week at Les Fabres in the lead up to Christmas. The house has a fantastic terrace which is sheltered at this time of year and a complete sun trap. We didn't imagine we could be sitting out for sunny lunches in December. It was such a treat. This lovely home is fully equipped for winter evenings as well with a roaring log fire. We passed all our evenings just sitting around the beautiful fireplace by candlelight,,, a really special place. Lots of nice walks too in the surrounding area and there was a nice Christmas market in the village where we had mulled wine and pastries. We had a great trip and we would definitely come back and enjoy this gorgeous villa in the summer as well.
Thanks Hannah, We're very glad you had a comfortable stay .... Do indeed come back to us in the summer when you can enjoy the swimming pool and evening BBQs on the terrace . We'll look forward to welcoming you.
Fantastic villa for family holiday
Our family (5 adults and a one year old) had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful and quiet villa just outside Cotignac. The villa is very spacious with lots of room for us and our differing requirements. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor eating facilities excellent. The pool was very well used (especially as it was very hot during our stay) and the table tennis was much enjoyed. The separate TV room meant some could keep up with sport including the Tour de France. The travel cot was helpful for our little one. We enjoyed walks into Cotignac with good restaurants and shops as well as some trips further afield. Glen and Virginia were extremely helpful throughout.
.COTIGNAC, is one of the most beautiful villages in France offering a typical summer scene with its summer festival, weekly market, cafe terraces under the shady plane trees and its 4 seasons drinking fountain. It is a romantic and lively village, a gourmets paradise where you can savour locally produced cheeses, wines , olives and red ripe tomatoes. Pick them up at the market for a fabulous picnic.
It has all the shops you will need and a plentiful supply of restaurants and bars. There is a bank with an ATM, and some really good gift shops. Visit the sublime city of Aix en Provence for the day and watch the world go by on it's shady avenues or take a picnic to the beach, all within easy reach.
There is rafting, pedalos, and kayaking in the Lac St Croix . There are plenty of places to ride everywhere and excellent tracks for hiking and mountain biking. Or you may choose to just do nothing and laze by the pool with a good book, relaxing and recharging your batteries. Thats Cotignac
