The home is located on one-way Southard Street only two blocks from world famous Duval Street and its restaurants, bars, art galleries and shops. This completely upgraded “Conch Cottage” has all the modern amenities you would expect. The contemporary kitchen with double cathedral ceilings is equipped with Bosch Stainless Steel appliances, granite countertops, a small island and top quality countertop appliances. The adjacent dining area has a table and seating for four.
The large 15’ x 21’ living room has an ten foot high tray ceiling with indirect lighting. The room is furnished with comfortable seating that includes a couch, a loveseat and three upholstered chairs including a rocker recliner with ottoman. The 42” LCD TV is equipped with basic cable. The room is the ideal place to spend some leisure time. One end of the room is enclosed on three sides with large glass sliding doors opening to a fenced, private deck surrounded by a tropical paradise garden. A heated dipping pool is nestled among the palm trees. Included for your use are a gas grill, two chaise lounges, a large teak table and seating for five.
Both of the bedrooms have en suite baths with the guest room bath also opening to the hallway to be used as the common area bath. Both bedrooms have queen size beds and have plenty of storage. All linens and towels, including beach towels, are supplied. The home is equipped with a new stacked washer and dryer. Never worry about running out of hot water with the tankless propane fired hot water heater. The large front porch is a few steps above the street making it the perfect place to sit on the wicker chairs and relax with your morning coffee and a copy of the Key West Citizen.
This home is located in the middle of Old Town Key West within walking distance of the best restaurants and the Key West night life. Located within a six block radius are Blue Heaven, the best breakfast in town; Pepe’s, the second best breakfast in town; Mangia Mangia Pasta Café; Michael’s Restaurant; Sarabeth’s Kitchen; Seven Fish; A & B Lobster; Conch Republic; The Boat House; Alonzo’s; BO’s, a Key West classic; and many more.
