A beautiful and extremely well furnished modern villa totally refurbished upstairs with new kitchen, lounge, dining room extension with new furniture, new tiles internally & externally to the lounge terrace, AC/heating throughout.New bathroom en-suite with walk in shower & new bathroom to master bedroom Nov 2013.

It overlooks one of the 9 pools in El Rancho. There are many personal touches to make it even more comfortable. There is a large new extended terrace from the lounge with a sun awning, a new BBQ and an additional roof terrace. The villa accomodates upto 8 people in space and comfort.

About Allen Jerman

My wife & I have had a villa in LMC since 1995 originally in Losmolinos but preferred El Rancho as more spacious, better views & facilities to accommodate our three children & 7 grand children. We both enjoy playing friendly golf & relaxing with a G & T in the evening sun before enjoying a glass of wine & dining out. Originally from the north & then lived in the Home Counties but moved for biz reasons to the midlands in Sutton Coldfield being members at Moor Hall Golf club. Missed out going to university but ended up running a group of companies for my sins.

Most properties at LMC are built sheltered from the sun but our property is on a slight angle that gets the best of the climate. The extended terrace at the main living section of the villa & master bedroom are truly roomy & give ' best ' opportunity to fully enjoy your stay. For children the villa is 20 meters from the pool with easy access onto grass & provides a good playing area watched by parents from the terrace if you wish.

The property has been refurbished with extended master bedroom & terrace (allowing late evening sun for BBQ or alfresco dining not possible in many properties -- awning protection is in situ). An upstairs toilet is extremely convenient. Access is available by 7 steps to the front door with direct on road lay-by parking or via the ensuite master bedroom for ease of avoiding carrying suitcases down the staris & for pool access. Access via the master bedroom incurs 1 step for the less mobile. Changeover day is saturday & visitors are asked to vacate by 10.00 am on the day of departure to allow cleaning for the next client; this may be varied once flight details are known. Saturday to saturday booking is preferred in the main season, however some flexibility may be considered. A travel cot is available. however high chairs z-beds etc may be hired as extras. Stairgate available for hire at e10 per week.

Great villa in prime location

The property is great for families and has everything you need . The location was perfect and views from the terrace you couldn't beat. Allan was great at providing help and info. Was a brilliant 1st holiday for our 4 month old ! We really hope to go back next year.

very nice villa

We had a great family holiday here. The villa is well equipped, well positioned and was clean and tidy on arrival. Booking was easy and there was a welcome folder explaining all about the resort and the villa and things to do and places to visit. Very happy to give a 5 star rating.

Superb, home from home Villa

Superb Villa that is brilliantly placed. Great access to club facilities and the Villa itself is well equipped, well maintained and modern.

We found the Villa to be spacious, homely and thoroughly enjoyable spending many evenings sitting out on the terrace watching the sun set.

I'd recommend this property to friend and family and will be re-booking next year.

Great villa excellent value

This is a great villa in an excellent position right next to 2 pools, with a lovely extended terrace. The owner was brilliant and very helpful, going out of his way to assist - as can be seen from the comment to the previous review. This villa is also the cheapest of its type to rent and had all the things we needed to accommodate adults and small children, plus free wifi and satellite tv. The only thing Allen couldn't sort out was the weather! Would also recommend taxido.net for airport transfers, 45 euros each way.

Poor service

Unfortunately The owner Allen 'double booked' this villa, and organised another a few doors away.

It was in a disgusted state on our arrival-not cleaned or been used in some months. My family had to sleep on bare mattresses the first night.

After 48hrs finally took a team of 4 cleaners , 10 hrs to make it habitable.

Townhouse has few other issues, but neither owners willing to step up and take responsibility for position we are in-when we pay this sort of money, we expect the service and standard that comes with it.

Owner's Response: facts -- these people have not stayed at my property therefore their remarks only relate to my error & subsequent actions. You judge!! 19/4 booking request rec’d for 2/7 to 12/7 20/4 reservation request rec’d with payment & booking added to calendar 21/4 docs sent 15/5 client letter sent as no previous record being sent & request for flight details to allow me to send my management company booking form to accommodate their requirements. 15/5 flight details rec’d & further request made re bedding requirements 16/5 management company informed of booking & double booking spotted. SH advised by phone & search commenced for alternatives. 3 & 4 bed options discussed by phone & although more expensive than my property I would pay the excess. Link of 4 bed alternative property sent for SH to check & approve. SH confirmed OK with this property (no difference to the process used to book my property --commonplace) 16/5 confirmation sent to owner of alternative property with copy to SH confirming both parties were happy. As contract now discharged & passed over they were asked to execute their normal procedure/exchanges/paperwork etc. direct & I paid the excess to ER 29 owner.10/6 original damage deposit check returned after being advised by owner (10/6) that his arrangements were different. Confirmed £ returned to both parties after exchange of bank details. My involvement no longer necessary & all duties/exchanges executed & discharged. 3/7 text message from my management company after SH contacted them saying ER 29 not prepared for their arrival. My management company do not look after ER 29 only the owner would know who & how to contact. Trying to be helpful although no longer my responsibility I tried to contact the owner for hours but to no avail either by phone text or email. SH texted advising emergency action taken in the absence of ER 29 owner (SH no reply). I therefore asked my management if they could help. After agreeing that I would indemnify them for payment my management provided linen towels etc but cleaning had to wait until the 4/7 4/7 cleaning executed by my cleaners not ER 29 cleaners. 3/7 SH email blame's me although he researched this property, agreed a contract with owner of ER 29 & exchanged paperwork accordingly. i have expressed my sorrow for my original mistake & although no longer my responsibility did everything possible to minimise inconvenience.19/8 I confirm the owner of ER 29 has accepted responsibility & compensated the client.

La Manga Club Primarily a 'British' resort for golf and tennis enthusiasts, the Club has numerous excellent restaurants and good night life with the range of activities available. The three golf courses attract many International tournaments and the tennis centre has been appointed as the LTA's winter training facility. An International soccer training facility with eight pitches is frequently used by Europe's leading clubs and national teams.

Golf Information La Manga Club has 3 18-hole courses. The South Course is championship standard. Long and technical. The recently renovated North course is more undulating, with superb views. The West course is completely different in character; narrow fairways, frequent 'barrancas' (ravines) and quite technical. You are advised to book tee times in advance (tel. +34 968 175000 ask for golf admin or fax. +34 968 175058).
