About Jenny Giddy or Linda Moskalyk
With a background as an environmental librarian, Jenny founded the nature reserve with her late husband Ian to preserve cloud forest habitat for the birds and animals that live in these misty mountains. Though Jenny now lives in Vancouver, BC and upstate New York, and is spending more time with her grandchildren, Cloudbridge will always have a special place in her heart.

Why Jenny Giddy or Linda Moskalyk chose Pérez Zeledón
Casita Blanca is the house that Jenny designed to take advantage of the wonderful views of the mountains and forest. It's a short walk to the stunning waterfalls, but there are a number of challenging hiking trails to satisfy the intrepid explorer.
What makes this Cottage unique
If you stay at Cloudbridge, you would be welcome to join the researchers on their expeditions, whether it's to check camera trips, or look for owls or frogs on a night hike. A weekly potluck gives you the opportunity to join in and meet the current crowd of international volunteers; or just enjoy the peace of the house, its garden, and spend time watching the bounty of butterflies and birds.
