Spacious corner house with private fenced garden, and roof terrace ,50 m2, close to beach, town and golf. Wi-Fi for rent , and 3 air-cons. The street in front of the house is blocked for motor-traffic. The house is equipped and furnished to a very high standard in a secure gated RESIDENTIAL complex and has rules which must be respected. (this information is given to avoid bad behavier in our complex) Patio overlooking the garden and swimming pool. Spacious terrace with awning in front of the house. 2 bedrooms each with a balcony and air-con/heater. Fully fitted kitchen with oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and el.kettle. Lounge/dining area with air-con/heater. Restaurants, bars and supermarkets within a short walk. As there are long sandy, safe beaches it is perfect for children as there are hardly no waves in Menor. There are numerous golf courses in the neighbourhood. The famous La Manga golf within 30 minutes drive of Los Alcazares. Se note on 'further' details. Nearby airports are Murcia, 5 minutes by car and Alicante 60 minutes drive, both of each are served by many economy airlines. Golf/tennis/shopping.: Los Alcazares is becoming known as the golf centre of the Costa Calida, with exceptional courses such as La Serena, Roda and Mar Menor Golf on your doorsteps. A public tennis-course is within 20 min. walk. The little town has a cozy athmosfere with lots of bars, pubs, and restaurants with cuisine from different places of the world. There are supermarkets which are open on Sundays within a short walk, and charming markets on Thuesdays and Saturdays, and you can have nice walks in the old part of the town which also contents good restaurants and charming small shops. Internet-cafees several places, the closest within 5 min walk. Banks avilable within 5 min walk as well as hairdressers and other small shops.

About Marion Skjønsholt

I am a 63 years old woman. I bought my house in 2001 and intended to live there during wintertime, which I also did until I got devorced and went back to 100% work as a doctors assistent. So now I look foreward to get retired and have the chance to use it more myself, specially to get away from the dark and cold norwegian winters. Until then I let my house to have some income which I can use for expences and to keep the house in a good condition.

Why Marion Skjønsholt chose Los Alcázares

I bought it because I fell in love with the area, the lovely Mar Menor and the short way to the Air-port. The city was the right sice for me, and I do not need a car to use the area. The people are friendly and and nice, and all facilities is within a short walking distance. The see is calm and shallow and therefore super for my grandchildren. Mar Menor is several degrees warmer than the Mediterranian and with no high waves.

What makes this house unique

I fell in love with the house because it had a beautiful roof-terrace, I could overview the lovely backyard and the pool-area. The rooms had good space and I felt at home at once. That after beeing several other places that did not attract me enough to buy them. The front street is protected from traffic and therefore very safe for children. It is good space in the frontgarden to eat, barbeque and relax, and only a few steps to the pool from the backyard.

Ideal for families or couples. The complex has two swimming pools and gardens, secluded behind gated fences., exclusive to residents. Palm trees offer shade from the many sunny areas in the gardens. The house is equipped with window shutters to keep the inside area cool during the hot summer months. The large private roof terrace, 50 m2, is accessible only from the house, it also has a shower. Housekeeping during your stay is not included, and if you like it you may ask the key-holder.

Simply superb

My family stayed in this Townhouse for 2 weeks & had a fantastic time. It has all the amenities needed for a great stay. We especially enjoyed sitting in the front garden enjoying the sunshine after a busy day in the pool.

The owner (Marion) helped every step of the way to make hiring a very quick & unstressful process. I can highly recommend this property & will certainly stay there again without hesitation.

We spent a lovely week in this property. We were welcomed by lynn who took us around the house. We had everything we required and wanted for nothing, it was nice and clean and well furnished. It is very well situated for shops and eating places and el divino complex was lovely and the pool was close to the back entrance of the house.You felt very safe around the area when walking home late at night.We would recommend this property to anyone.

Lovely well maintained duplex in a nice complex

We enjoyed a lovely week at Casa SnikSnak.

The description and photos are accurate. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole duplex is very clean and homely. We particularly liked the roof terrace for the view and the breeze up there and the fact that it was the least overlooked part of the apartment.

The complex was very peaceful and well maintained and the pool area was very pleasant, it is in a quiet location but easy walking distance to all amenities and we felt very safe and secure there. The resort was beginning to quieten down after high season and long term winter stays by retired people were beginning.

It was so nice to have such an easy, short transfer to and from the air[port and being able to stay in the apartment until evening the night we were leaving was fantastic.

All communication with the owner Marion was very efficient and pleasant and Lynne the key holder was most helpful and pleasant to deal with.

I would recommend Casa SnikSnak to anyone looking for a relaxing, easygoing week in the sun in a comfortable duplex apartment in a very pleasant resort.

This winter I will have the garden retiled as a few tiles has loosend and the palmtree destoyd some as well. The big root will be removed. And I have been so lucky. The perfect property

We had a lovely week in Casa SnikSnak recently. The property is just as other reviewers have described a home from home. It is spacious, very clean and extremely comfortable. We loved sitting out on the sunny front terrace for breakfast and for drinks before heading out to dinner in the evening.

The house is very well equipped and has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We made good use of the washing machine and used the washing lines on the roof terrace to dry the washing. The roof terrace also has lovely views out towards the hills and was also a great place to watch the aeroplanes coming in and out of San Javier airport.

Just out of the back door of the property is a lovely well maintained garden area with a delightful warm pool which is open from 8am until 10pm and is monitored by a lifeguard which makes it ideal for families with young children.

Throughout the process of booking we received excellent communication from Marion and it was great to have Lynn the key-holder just a few doors away for peace of mind.

We hired a car and always found a space to park just outside the complex. There are three supermarkets not far from the property and they are exceptionally well stocked. The restaurants and bars in the main square are within easy walking distance and there is a good choice of different types of cuisine to be found.

We used Los Alcazares as a base to explore the area and would highly recommend a visit to both Cartagena and Murcia, which are well worth spending some time in. We also took lots of back roads and visited some of the lesser-known villages in the area. The fabulous La Zenia Boulevard is also not to far away by car and we enjoyed our visit there.

At the end of our week we really did not want to go home as we had so much that we still wanted to see and do so hopefully we'll be able to return to the lovely Casa SnikSnak some time in the not to distant future.

Lovely Property in a well maintained complex

We stayed at Casa SnikSnak for 2 weeks from 18th July 2015 to 1st August 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We regularly travel to Los Alcazares and have previously stayed at Il Divino which is a lovely complex with a well maintained grounds and 2 swimming pools.

Casa Snik snak is a well furnished house with many facilities uncluding a dishwasher which is a bonus. Il Divino is in easy walking distance of the beach, shops bars and restaurants and makes an ideal base. There is a barbecue at the house and cooking facilities which gives the choice of cooking at home or going out.

Overall a great place and I would highly recommend for a family holiday.
