Just a brief word of thanks for your part in making our holiday in Parcent such a success. As I said when we met we have never rented a house which was better equipped and the welcome pack you left for us was extremely generous. It seems along way away now but we hope to see you again next year.
Listing and description considered to be very fair and accurate complete with true representative photos. If thinking of booking this villa for maximum occupancy I can confirm it coped well with our final party of 7 adults and one child. We found plenty of privacy, especially as it had 4 bathrooms + 1 spare WC/handbasin bathroom.
Eating/cooking facilities very good. We had choices of 3 separate tables to eat at which could seat all of the party (1 indoors). We could always choose between shade or sun.
Location quiet but not too far from main road and close to Parcent.
Help was promptly given throughout the booking process and afterwards if needed, we found Gill and Tony very helpful.
This is one property we would definitely recommend to friends who like rural stays. We tried about 4 restaurants during our stay but also we had a chef with us and found kitchen facilities good.
Activities to be found are cycling and walking, although being lazy I did neither, although some of the party did a little walking locally.
The property was generally well maintained and in good condition.
If in the area in the future we would stay there again.
Located in the Jalon Valley, about 10 minutes walk from the village of Parcent. Alicante airport about an hour's drive away and nearest beach 20 minutes. We had a really lovely stay in this super villa. Weather could have been kinder however all home comforts catered for, very helpful management services with much appreciated welcome hamper on arrival. Large clean comfortable villa, gorgeous kitchen and pool. We had a really lovely family holiday and would definitely like to return soon. Would highly recommend.
The interior of the villa was generally clean when we arrived (unless you happen to look under the beds!) and the complimentary items when we moved in were appreciated.
Two men just appeared by the pool on Monday, they didn't ring at the doorbell and they didn't call when they let themselves in round the side. My wife was in her bikini and for two men to suddenly appear was quite disturbing. They didn't introduce themselves and when I said 'hello' I barely got a grunt back. It then became apparent they were here to clean the pool. They returned on Thursday, again no warning and just as talkative.
We had problems with both the TV not working for two days and the Internet became unavailable from the Wednesday and was still down when we left on the Saturday.
Down by the side of the pool on the ground is obviously the area where all the old 'stuff' is dumped, which includes an old bath. This really needs to be cleaned up.
Two of the showers (the ones with the multiple nozzles downstairs) need to be de-scaled as they just didn't work properly, on one you barely get any water out of these nozzles at all.
The local town of Parcent, to us, seemed very tired and deserted. We walked into town a couple of times and hardly saw anyone. Most places were closed (this was mid August!). No man-made paths to get into Parcent, this might be a problem if you have children. The only way in was littered with dogs mess so make sure you take a torch.
One of the nicest villas we have stayed in. All bedrooms have plenty of room and ensuites are perfect. Kitchen had every gadget needed and the juicer was used daily after buying the fresh oranges from Jalon. €2.00 for 5 Kilos - absolute bargain.
It was very peaceful and we were lucky to have sunshine every day for the 2 weeks we were there.
Lots of good restaurants a short drive away.
Laying in bed looking at the view of the mountains is a picture we will remember for a long time.
the only negative I have is that it would be better to have blinds on all the windows as washing while the dog walkers going passed look in wasnt the best and would be nicer if there was more shaded area to sit in outside.
We are in the process of booking for next year.
Our stay in Casa Bendita was great!!!
We have enjoyed it very much, It is wonderful very big villa, space for everyone!
The wine in the frigidaire, tea, coffee, bread and cheese, everrything was there when we did arrive.
The house was very clean and cosy decorated.
I will recommend this house to spent your holiday in Spain.

We stayed at this amazing villa towards the end of July 2010, and must say the photo's simply do not do the villa justice.
Having stayed at one of Gills other villas last year and thinking it could not be topped, we were thrilled when we saw this one.
It has four lovely size bedrooms and five bathrooms. The decor of the villa throughout is modern, clean and bright. The kitchen has every utensil, pot pan etc that you could wish for and the lounge area is lovely and comfy when you have had enough of the sun for one day.
Sky tv is a huge bonus, as was the drawer full of DVD's and board games to keep us entertained.
The pool area is stunning, a lovely big pool with plenty of seating and a couple of barbecues, which we took full use of. The views are beautiful, and the only noises we heard where the bee's and the church bells in the nearby village of Parcent.
Parcent in itself is a short walk away and has a few good bars, Bar Estufa and Bar Guay where our favourites, soooo cheap!!
If you want a bit more nightlife there are also some good bars and restaurants in nearby Jalon.
All in all we had a fabulous week, the weather was perfect, villa was outstanding and the food and drink, just a little too plentiful!
