Relax and enjoy our 5 star home. LOVELY, 3 BEDROOM, 2 BATH EXECUTIVE HOME in a beautiful private treed setting. Our home has an attached one car garage. Open floor plan, light and bright, floor to ceiling windows on three sides of the eat-in kitchen w/ granite counter tops and island, stainless steel appliances, large table with seating for 8. Large island with stainless range with seating for 4. Watch the deer and elk as you enjoy your morning coffee on the deck off the kitchen overlooking one of the elk migration paths in Estes Park.

This lovely home is beautifully furnished in rustic elegance, large living room with gas fireplace. Three large bedrooms all located on the main level; master bedroom elegantly furnished with king size bedroom suite; second bedroom with queen size bedroom suite, third bedroom with two twin beds. 5 Star quality, luxurious 100% cotton bedding! All rooms have large area rugs covering the wood floors as well as the ceramic tile floor in office. Ceramic tile and granite in the 4 piece, updated upstairs bathroom with private commode area. Completely updated 3 piece bathroom downstairs. 100% cotton rugs in the bathrooms are changed and replaced with fresh rugs for each party.

For those who like to take their work with them, fully equipped office with desk, printer, WIFI, recliners,for those who might like to get away for an afternoon of reading or napping. Large family room with sleeper sofa and love-seat, large, flat-screen TV, game table, foosball and even a popcorn machine cart for movie night! Full-size Maytag washer and dryer. Large, one car garage. Naturally landscaped yard with gorgeous tall pines surrounded by huge rock outcroppings, (the reason for the single car garage) natural stone steps and landscaping. The large backyard can accommodate a game of horseshoes and badminton or whatever. The naturally landscaped and private backyard is furnished with an extra large, gas grill, extra-long picnic table and large deck with seating around the firepit for those chilly summer evenings our mountains are famous for. Plenty of comfortable outdoor seating for 8 - 12; two glider loveseats, two adirondack chairs, bar height table with four chairs. Two tables with chairs on the wrap-around deck on the front of home for your morning coffee.

Our home is located in the beautiful and desirable One Thousand Pines subdivision, on a quaint lane one block off highway 7, Peak to Peak Scenic Highway, less than a mile from the main street in Estes Park. Scenic golf course located across the street. Located next door is the historic and charming Stone Home. I call it the Hobbit House, complete with curved doorway and windows.

WIFI, light and bright, wood floors throughout upper level and family room on the lower level. Moss rock gas fireplace in the living room. No more messy wood! A large, flat-screen TV, with satellite connection in both the family room and living room. Lots of games for family fun in television console. Attached garage with garage door opener and with the entrance located on the lower level walk-out. All bedrooms come complete with a luggage rack, alarm clock and a fan for those warm nights in addition to the ceiling fans. Sorry, no air conditioning, however with the cool mountain nights, air conditioning is not necessary. Fully stocked kitchen has everything you will need during your stay including a coffee maker, popcorn popper, crock pot, iced tea maker, microwave and dishwasher. This beautiful home is elegantly furnished in good taste for your comfort and enjoyment. All bedding, linens and towels furnished. Each bathroom is furnished with a hand-held two-sided mirror, hair dryer and also included are (personalized handmade soaps, shampoo, conditioner and lotion) for our guests. Watch the deer and elk graze while surrounded by the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

For those of you who love to hike and enjoy the outdoors, Rocky Mountain National Park is just a few miles down the road with miles and miles of hiking trails. Gaze upon herds of majestic elk, moose, deer and Rocky Mountain Sheep, foxes, wolves, bears and even the elusive mountain lion. About Carol McSwain

Having loved Colorado from the very first time my family and I visited when I was just a young girl, I knew then, that Colorado was where I wanted to live when I grew up. And so, at the age of 20, over 40 years ago, I moved to the place of my dreams.

When my mother would come to visit me during the summers, Estes Park was one place that she wanted to visit each year. Her love of the mountains, especially the charm of Estes Park and the peaceful serenity and beauty the mountains especially Rocky Mountain National Park is something that we both shared. Which is the reason, when I had the chance to purchase Two Pines on Shady Lane, I felt this was one opportunity I just couldn't pass up.

My family and I love to visit Estes Park whenever we can. We love our home and the close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park not to mention the beauty that surrounds this magical place. This a perfect vacation spot for my family and I believe you will find it to be even better than what you expected as soon as you enter Two Pines on Shady lane.

What makes this house unique

Located on one of several migration paths of the elk, hundreds of which pass through this cozy lane. Elk and deer graze in and around Two Pines and often spend the afternoon resting in the yard. Located just one block off the Peak to Peak Scenic Highway. Here is some of the most picturesque scenery in the world. Two Pines offers all the comforts of home with plenty of room for everyone. This home can easily accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably.

We traveled from Tennessee to enjoy the scenery, the climate and hiking with our daughter and son-in-law and 2 grandchildren. At Two Pines we appreciated the fact that you offer a discount to returning guests. The grandkids had a great time and we enjoyed making memories with them. The activities we enjoyed the most were hiking, shopping and the fireworks on the 4th of July.

Two Pines is a great family place.

Our family of 6 adults and twins of 6 years enjoyed the cozy cabin. Every morning and evening deer came passed the place and eat just behind the cabin. This so thrilled my grandson. The large table and fully equipped kitchen made it easy for all of us to gather as a family. Their was plenty of linens for the days we were there. The popcorn machine was a plus as my granddaughter loves popcorn. I loved the office as it gave me a place to checkup on items as the family slept. Except for the family room, the large closets gave plenty of room to get out of the suitcases. We used the washer and dryer at mid week and they were great. Overall it was a great place to stay and introduce Estes Park to my son's family. Thanks. The only thing I could not figure out was the alarm system which this time did not factor in with the twins.

So happy to know that the wildlife were active while you were there. We love our wildlife and always enjoy being entertained by them. Also was happy to read that you made use of the office. As far as the alarm system goes, I use it during my off-peak season, though it isn't necessary as my neighbors really watch out for me. Thank you again and I hope that you will come back to stay again in the future.

Cozy, Spacious, and Nice

My husband and I loved staying here. The cabin is very big and we especially enjoyed the fireplace and the foosball table. Everything is very well maintained and clean. Perfect for a winter get away!

Clean, Well-Stocked, Comfortable, and Fun!

We had a lovely time at Two-Pines. Thank you for having such a well-stocked home. We probably used every kitchen item twice, we did so much cooking! Towels and bathroom amenities were also great. Everything was clean, comfortable, and updated. Our long weekend included puzzles, movies, and we even used the delicious popcorn machine. We rented skiis in town and went cross country skiing on the golf course which was right across the street- super fun!

We had a large group so had to squeeze cars into the driveway- just a heads up for future guests. My only complaint was that the laundry machine and dryer were coin-op which was a bit strange, I would have loved to do one load of laundry and not pay $3. The signage around the house is also a bit excessive. The info is great! Just maybe a bit much.

Besides those minor things, we loved our time up at the house and would definitely come back. Everything was wonderful and helped us have an awesome birthday celebration with friends.

First Christmas in the Mountains

This was our first family Christmas in the mountains and we couldn't ask for a better home to spend our time. I love Christmas and Two Pines was decorated so beautifully and felt so homie for all of us. As soon as the kids arrived my granddaughter asked if we could live there forever!!

The top level allowed for everyone to be together while cooking is going on and they would watch the tv or dvds. The kitchen had everything I needed to make our Christmas Eve dinner and the table decorations were so nice in creating the festive mood! We didn't spend much time downstairs but it was nice having the office and use the printer, the heated bathroom for my husband to shower, and the option to wash clothes as needed. The popcorn machine was a big hit and maybe the highlight of the visit for the granddaughter.

The location was fantastic. It was easy to get to the stores, movies, the Stanley Hotel, and see the beautiful lights in the city!! I would love to come again in the summer to experience Estes Park in warm weather!! We definitely loved our stay and want to return again!!

NICE and comfortable

We had a great time at two pines. THE house had plenty of room and everything s family needs to have s comfortable stay in estes park. LOCATION is perfect. Close to downtown area but also close to wildlife. WILL stay here next time we travel to estes park.

Two Pines on Shady Lane-A new Home Away from Home

Two Pines on Shady Lane is our new Home Away from Home. We have been visiting Estes Park for years. We have done VRBO's for just as long. This property is a 5 star property. The house is so inviting, cozy and spotlessly clean. There is nothing that has been left out. This house is as if you picked up and moved and never skipped a beat. As you approach Twin Pines you notice how well kept the house is. The front patio and deck offer multiple seatings for anyone intresting in just sitting and watching nature go by. As you enter the front door you have the option to go up to the main living area or down to the basement. The main living area is beautifully decorated and cumilates with a stone fire place. The living area has plenty of seating for a large party but reamins cozy enough for just a romantic couple. The open kitchen is abundent with anything that you may need to make a large family dinner or just boil some water for tea. The island offers more seating while the dining area continues the openness of this property. Large windows invite the sun yet offer enough privacy to feel comfortable. All the bedrooms are perfect in size with a king size bed in the master. Lots of storage space to put your luggage away and settle in for a long stay. The bathroom is well decorated and offers a rejuveenating shower. The lower levels offers access to the office and the downstairs living area. A foosball table and popcorn machine make movie night that much more entertaining. The outside firepit gives you the ability to enjoy the weather and mother nature at her finest. One after noon, there were eleven bulls resting behind the property. Two Pines on Shady Lane is a superb property and was almost too mcuh for me, my wife and our two small dogs. We will certainly be returning. Thanks for an amazing stay.
