About this property

Top of the Line Asheville Cabin

For those who want to be close enough to Asheville that you can easily drop in, but also prefer peace and privacy in your own luxurious perch on top of the world, this is your spot!!

Come take a virtual tour: https://app.cloudpano.com/tours/sauM7Tjzr?sceneId=3WUDQCIWKGb

This stunningly beautiful, modern and immaculately clean cedar log home has year-round postcard-like views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. And, it has the best of both worlds - total privacy, yet only 15 minutes to the center of Asheville - so close you can catch an Uber/Lyft.

There's a sense of peace and calm you'll immediately feel when you enter the bright, open floor plan, gaze up at the 18' ceilings, look out over endless views, and settle into the cabin's peaceful setting, located on 18 private acres.

Enjoy some time on the deck, taking in 180 degree views of rolling farmland, endless mountain ridges, and an ever-changing sky. Watch as hawks and eagles soar gracefully upward on thermal air currents. See how magically the sky changes at sunrise and sunset. Look up into the night sky to see more stars than you've seen in years. Soak in the indulgently luxurious hot tub on top of the world. Walk the grounds, its private road and trails, and discover the amazing diversity of native plants and flowers. And take time to listen to the bubbling spring-fed stream that flows behind the cabin.

Everything about this house is well-done, yet nothing's overdone. The layout is perfect for a large cabin (1,665 sq') that's cozy and inviting, yet open and lives large.

--There's a completely modern and fully-equipped kitchen with an ideal layout for cooking as well as entertaining.
--The open living room has 18' ceilings, in-wall incredible surround sound, a cozy fireplace, and comfortable furniture.
--The dining area off the kitchen has a hardwood table and chairs that seats 6 very comfortably.
--There are two large bedrooms on the main floor that share a full bath. One bedroom has a pillow queen bed, and the other a king bed.
--The private loft suite has skylights, a luxurious king bed, sitting corner, ensuite full bathroom, and a complete office nook.
--The entertainment center boasts 7.1 in-wall surround sound that provides an awesome listening experience. There is unlimited high-speed WiFi (500mbps), Roku, Bluetooth pairing receiver, and more than 100 DVD's at the cabin.
--There is a wraparound front and side deck with an outdoor 6-person hot tub, and a secluded back deck off the dining area with gas grill.
--And, there's a full size washer and dryer, central heat, a/c and large windows with private views from every room.

Please Note: While this cabin is pet-friendly, I want to make sure that all animals (and people!) in the house will be well-behaved and considerate. Therefore, guests must indicate on their reservation their desire to bring along a pet. The system will notify me, and will add the pet fee to your quote. No pets are permitted without prior approval.

The cabin is perfectly situated for exploring Asheville and WNC! It's an easy 11 mile drive to Pack Square at the very center of Asheville and only takes 15 minutes on well-maintained main roads.

This cabin has it all, in the middle of it all!

Top of the hill Asheville getaway
This location was a perfect getaway with fantastic views and we had great weather. It was a quick trip into Asheville and was a very quiet and relaxing location to stay. Host was very responsive and helpful. The only concern was the last turn on the road to the home as a car did get stuck and they were able to rock it over the groves in the road. Four wheel drive vehicles were fine. I would rent again!

My name is Kelly and I live in Charlotte, NC. I'm a hard-working, peace-loving individual who enjoys the serenity of the mountains. I am a private owner and manage the property myself, with personal care and interest. I come from a large family and always appreciate a sense of family among friends. I'm sure that you, like everyone who visits, will absolutely love and cherish the time you spend at my mountain cabin!

Why they chose this property

My mountain cabin is a rare find and one that I plan to keep for many years of enjoyment. The cabin is stunningly beautiful, immaculately clean, and truly Top of the Line. It is located just outside of Asheville, NC, one of America's coolest towns. While just 10 miles from downtown, it sits on a mountainside that looks out across endless ridges of mountains and valleys dotted with farmland and estates. It has the best of all worlds - private in its location, and close to everything that Asheville has to offer!

What makes this property unique

The mountain cabin is at the end of a private road, perched high on a mountainside, with unobstructed year-round views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Its open floor plan and peaceful setting make it perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the Blue Ridge. The house is immaculately clean and tidy.

The cabin is perfectly situated for exploring Asheville and WNC!

The cabin is only 11 miles from Pack Square in the very center of Asheville. The picturesque drive into town takes 15 minutes on main roads.

The cabin sits in the middle of hundreds of world class hiking and biking trails. All are an easy 30 to 60 minutes' drive away, door to trailhead. The Appalachian Trail at Hot Springs is 35 minutes. Great Smoky Mountains National Park; Shining Rock Wilderness, Mills River, Linville Gorge, Mt. Mitchell, Bent Creek, Cold Mountain, etc. are all 40 minutes. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 25 minutes and there are multiple trails off it.

River rafting/tubing/ kayaking, zip lining, rock climbing, fishing and golfing are 30 minutes or less. Downhill skiing, snowboarding and tubing is 35 miles from the cabin.

The Biltmore Estate is only 25 minutes away. Waynesville is 25 minutes. And, Cherokee is 45 minutes.

Being just outside of Asheville allows you to feel away from it all but also be right in the middle of everything.
