About Jeff and Lori Perry
My husband I are both teachers who moved to Virginia from Maryland about 16 years ago.
Jeff and Lori Perry purchased this House in 2000
Why Jeff and Lori Perry chose Rileyville
We love the quiet and beauty of the Shenandoah Valley. We were fortunate enough to find this property right on the river where we could build our own cabin. Nothing beats having the Shenandoah River right out your front door.
What makes this House unique
We can swim, fish, and canoe right from the house. Evening campfires overlooking the river are the perfect way to spend an evening after a day in the water. There is plenty to do without leaving the house.

The beautiful Shenandoah River
Great spot for a getaway. The river was beautiful. The scenery of the surrounding area the Skyline Dr., Shenandoah National Park we’re all great fun! Hope to come back someday.
We had a nice quiet weekend. Property owners live next door and were extremely helpful. Gave us a ride up the road to put in our kayaks and float down to the house. We enjoyed using the tubes they provided for floating in the river. Great location.
Lovely part of the country!
We stayed for only four days-- wish it could have been longer! The house is located on this winding gravel road, far from traffic, and it was so quiet. We spent our first night just sitting on the deck watching the fireflies. The WiFi was great, too.
We used this as a base for hiking in the area, great location
Our Hosts were very responsive and easy to work with.
Great place, Great location
The home and location are perfect. Serene riverfront and nicely appointed home. Close to Luray and Shenandoah NP.
We had a peaceful and beautiful vacation here. The house was located on a river, close to Luray and great hiking. I highly recommend if you are in the area. It’s also great for kids - there are games and a canoe to go out on the water.
Glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope you stay with us again if you are visiting the area.
River's Edge Cabin is located just 5 miles north of Luray off route 340 in Page County, Virginia. There are many options for day activities including exploring Luray Caverns, hiking in Shenandoah national park, taking a scenic drive on Skyline Drive, and visiting local wineries and Civil War battlefields.
