We want everyone to enjoy oceanfront Mauna Lani at an affordable price! We're Accountable 24/7. We're Givers. We have had a few CEOs from very large corporations stay at our condo. The pictures don't do it justice. If you rent from us, you'll be more than satisfied as we over-deliver. Our Cancellation Policy Protects both the guest and us. If a guest cancels their reservation outside 60 days, we'll refund their money immediately, less $150. If a guest cancels inside 60 days, we'll keep what you paid but issue a credit to be used in the following 12 months. We have had guests who had unforeseen events happen. These guests have re-booked dates. We only accept check, Wire Transfer or PayPal. Additionally, why can we offer this low rate? We purchased both condos during the darkest days of the credit crisis. Fortunately, due to our cost basis, we're able to pass on the savings to guests. Our mortgage rate is also very low helping defray the high H.O.A., utility and property tax payments. We're repeatedly asked this by potential guests so we felt compelled to post our pricing methodology on VRBO. Additionally, we don't profit from the 1x cleaning fee. We pay $156.25 fyi. The Mauna Lani Terrace offers 1, 2 and 3 bedroom 'Deluxe' and 'Superior' condominiums located in the heart of the Mauna Lani Resort. Adjacent to the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel the Terrace is a short walk to the Beach Club and all other resort features. The 'Deluxe' units have all been remodeled while the 'Superior' units are also well appointed.

The Terrace offers quality, privacy, luxury, and a real sense of getting away from it all. Each of the Terrace condominiums is designed to maximize views of the ocean and the historic Hawaiian fishponds that create a lagoon setting.

The on-site recreation pavilion at the Terrace condominiums includes a 22' x 60' swimming pool, spa, sauna, children's pool, gas barbecues and picnic areas. The Mauna Lani Terrace is ideal for all travelers, whether you are seeking a private retreat or a great place for families; the Terrace is a prime location for all your vacation needs.

This property has so much to offer. Amazing views of the ocean and lakes. The beautiful property is green and lush with two pools, sauna, jacuzzi, and private BBQ's. Enjoy time at the pool while looking at the ocean and beach. We are located close to The Mauna Lani Shopping Center with a full service grocery store. Access to the private beach and restaraunt for the homeowners and guests at Mauna Lani. Beach activities include: Stand up paddling, snorkeling, scuba diving, whale watching; and a sunset sail. Private lawn chairs and gear rentals at beach.

Amazing location, everything we needed

This unit is one of the best values in the region. It's well-furnished, comfortable and welcoming. When we come back, I hope to stay in the other unit this owner has (upstairs), but other than wanting to be off the first floor (personal preference) there is nothing I would change here. As you'll read in many other reviews, Mike cares a lot about the property and he's very responsive and friendly. It's kind of like you're staying in a friend's place, in fact. Onsite W/D is super handy and the massive lanai is great for relaxing. But the real selling points here are the short, pleasant walks to gorgeous beaches, sweeping coastline, cool historic fishponds, hotels and restaurants and a spa. Or maybe the real selling point is the Kohala Coast, where the wind coming down off of Mauna Kea kept us cool-weather natives comfy even on 91-degree August days. Or maybe it's the fact that you can drive pretty easily to so much of the island from here. (VNP and south end would be awkward but everything else is very reachable.) MLT is very quiet in the summer; maybe it's busier in other parts of the year, but when we were there the complex probably was only 1/3 occupied. That meant we had quiet pool time, easy access to grills and outdoor space, and lots of privacy on the beach and coastline. This area is expensive compared to other parts of the island, but ultimately we felt it was worth it, and again, this property is such a good value.

Wonderful stay on the big island!

This is a wonderful condo - beautiful views, excellent beach access, and in a great community! Mauna Lani is a large resort, but very spread out and not crowded at all - especially the Terrace. The private beach was very laid back, and had everything we wanted (chairs, rentals, excellent restaurant, etc.). The pool area was beautiful and quiet, with a hot tub, kitchen, luxury grilling/eating areas, etc. Foodland grocery store was in the resort complex, and we could easily head over for any food, drinks, snacks, deli items, etc. Most importantly, the condo itself was wonderful - well maintained, clean, and with everything we could need! We made a few meals in the condo, enjoyed the local restaurants, took a day trip to Hilo and the volcano, etc. Michael was available for any questions and very communicative during our stay. This was the second stop on our long Hawaii honeymoon and easily the most enjoyable part of our trip. Actually, at the end of our stay we both remarked that if we were to live in Hawaii this condo is where we would want to be!

Really loved the Mauna Lani Terrace Unit, the location was excellent, view fantastic, the unit had everything you could ask for ! The walking access to all things Mauna Lani and the Fairmont Orchid made you want to simply relax where you were - no need to go elsewhere. Would/will stay here again!

Extraordinary unit! Phenomenal owner! 5/5!

I wholeheartedly agree with all the superlatives about Mike's units in the previous reviews! But even more importantly, the owner, Mike is the best! He is incredibly responsive and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for your stay.

We have rented other units at the Mauna Lani Terrace as well as both of Mike's units(on several occasions). Mike's units are always our first choice! Take it from someone who's a regular at the Terrace & give Mike a call - but do it as soon as you decide on your dates because his units are extremely popular. Kudos to you Mike for a providing such a special place to enjoy the spirit of Aloha!

Great accommodation in a beautiful spot

Best part of our visit to Big Island. All the benefits of the resort area without the herded masses. The accommodations are big and comfortable and more personal than a hotel setting. Using the sofa-bed in the living room for our son to sleep was fine since there were two bath rooms. The covered porches that are easy to bring meals to or to sip drinks in the evening facing the Lagoon make you feel constantly close to the outdoors. Lots of beautiful places some more crowded than others to explore by walking in almost any direction. Great snorkeling too just be sure to protect your feet.

Classy and Cozy

Spent 3 nights in Mike''s condo and I was sad to leave. Mauna Lani Terrace is a private and secured complex adjacent to the historic fish ponds and a short walk to ocean. You have access to the private beach club which is a gem. Condo very roomy, cozy, quiet and has all comforts of home. Condo has updated countertops, appliances and is spotless. It's a very large one bedroom with 2 baths, large lanais even off master bedroom. Bed was very comfortable and TV in master and living room. Enjoyed the Bose Bluetooth speaker. Home has all you need for beach to include chairs, towels and coolers. Pool area is gorgeous and grounds all pristine. Close access to Mauni Lani and Waikoloa shops/restaurants. We spent most time at beach club which was heavenly. Turquoise waters and great snorkeling. Good communication with owner and he's got your back. I slept best I have in months and will return for sure.
