HISTORICAL BORGO OF THE APENNINE ON THE TUSCANY BORDER
Borgo Pianello is one of the oldest farms in Lizzano in Belvedere, with evidence of its existence dating as far back as 1000 B.C., one hour far from Bologna and Florence, on the border between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna .
With its splendid location in the Dardagna Valley, facing the Riva Mountains, Borgo Pianello provides historical testimony of the agricultural lifestyle of the surrounding regions. Totally immersed in a quiet and uncontaminated landscape, Borgo Pianello now offers the best opportunities for relaxing holidays and business meetings.Guests are ensured the maximum of comfort in the Borgo Historical Villa and apartments, where all furnishings are chosen with care.Every unit has a fully- equipped kitchen and fireplace, satellite TV/radio and Internet connection so that guests can enjoy their stay in harmony with nature.The charming meeting room, located in the refurbished barn, can accommodate training courses, seminars, exhibitions and events of any kind.Equipped with a kitchen, giant screen and restrooms, it can accommodate 60 people.
The Borgo offers ample private parking and a 10.000 square-meter lawn, together with private barbeque areas and a very interesting Winery ; a swimming pool and a solarium complete the facilities at the guests’ disposal. During the summer season, Borgo Pianello is particularly appropriate for events such as weddings, concerts and private and corporate parties. It is immersed in the natural surroundings including the vegetation and fauna of the Corno alle Scale Regional Park where it is not uncommon to spot deer, squirrels, wild boars, foxes, hawks and other animals of the valley.

Gorgeous place, lovely owners.
My husband and I stayed here for 1 week in September, the place was every bit as cute as in the photos, the owners were very friendly and helpful and the area full of wonderful friendly people. We spent a lot of time touring small neighboring towns and visiting Aziendas all over the Emilia Romagna area and part of Tuscany tasting (and buying) local produce, I have to say this was a perfect get-away place for peace and quiet.

Une superbe prestation dans un cadre époustouflant! Le propriétaire Marco est très gentil et les logements impeccables. Nous étions à 5 avec 3 enfants ( 5, 7et 14 ans ) et chacun avait un lit et beaucoup de place. Nous avons même eu la chance d'avoir la visite de biches à la porte du logement! Magique ! Nous y retournerons à coup sûr!
Es war Okay
Wir waren im Juli 2011 für eine Woche im Borgo Pianello zu Gast. Leider hatten wir nicht das hier gezeigte Appartement erhalten, sondern nur ein
Zimmer für zwei Personen, das heißt kein extra Zimmer zum Schlafen, sondern alles in einem Raum, keine Couch, nur ein Tisch mit vier Stühlen. Schlafen wie auf einem Futon. Keine verputzten Wände, nur das Mauerwerk und dadurch kleine Krabbeltiere. Die Tür des Kamins war defekt (Klappe mit Schraubenschlüssel zugemacht) , nur Fernseher (kein deutsches Programm), keine Stereoanlage, kein Radio, kein DVD-und keinen CD-Player wie in der Beschreibung erwähnt. Sauberkeit ist etwas anderes (Staub, Spinnenweben etc.) Kühlfach im Kühlschrank defekt. Schränke konnten nicht abgeschlossen werden. Wir erhielten am Anfang Prospekte vom Vermieter, danach haben wir ihn bis einen Tag vor der Abreise nicht mehr gesehen. Die Vermieterin war tagsüber mal da und hat sich um den Pool gekümmert. Freitags kommt die ganze Familie der Vermieter mit Kind und Kegel angereist (ca 10 Personen, davon 6 Kinder), so dass man an dem Wochenende keine ruhige Minute weder am Pool noch vor seinem Appartment hat. Der nächste Supermarkt ist wegen den Serpentinen ca 35 Minuten entfernt in Silla. Borgo Pianello liegt auf 650 m Höhe, das heißt es ist auch im Juli abends sehr frisch und durch die Berge hatten wir fast täglich Wolken, während in Modena bei 35 Grad die Sonne schien. Ausfüge in die Toskana, Bologna, Modena sind möglich, der Wanderpark Corno alle scale ist in der Nähe.
