This charming French country style property offers the best of both worlds! Its location in a quiet gated development with ample well maintained gardens and pool ensures a relaxed and stress free holiday. Yet, it is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of the dynamic and stylish resort of Juan-les-Pins with its boutiques by day and its restaurants and clubs by night. Fancy a fresh croissant or pain au chocolate for breakfast? Just put on the coffee, walk down to the local boulangerie and pick up your newspaper from the friendly newsagent next door. You'll be home in 10 minutes! A large mosaic dining table with comfortable seating for 8 (under a retractable canopy) allows for informal shaded breakfasts or suppers under the stars. Only the cicadas will disturb your peace! If energetic you may be tempted by an early morning jog on the promenade and a swim. If not, sun bathing at the pool or at any one of a number of small sandy coves within easy reach may be more to your taste. The Juan les Pins Jazz festival 2017 takes place 29th June to 13th July

The entire property is tiled in local provencal terracotta tiles. Attractive furniture and wooden doors add to the French country look. The living area is spacious and open plan with an arch leading to a compact well designed kitchen with dish-washer, oven and electric hob. A small breakfast bar can accommodate 2 people (with tall chairs) but most home meals for larger numbers (up to 8) may be comfortably eaten 'al fresco' on the terrace between April and October. The sunny tiled terrace may be being kept cool by a manually operated canopy.

Quiet, well appointed and close to the sea.

The villa is in a safe and quite gated complex with parking, no more than 8 minutes walk to the sea front, and 5 to cafes, stores, bakeries and pharmacy . And it's remarkably quiet. There's an enormous pool wishing the complex, which was empty for the whole of our stay.

Rooms were big, facilities spot on and overall it was just so easy to base ourselves there and enjoy Juan Les Pins and Antibes.

We'll be going again, and would highly recommend the place.

Great house for relaxing holidays

This lovely house is located centrally in Juan les Pins with only a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets.

Nevertheless, it is in a very quiet neighbourhood and we particularly enjoyed the big private garden with a terrace that invites to enjoy meals in the sun. The house is extremely well equipped ranging from kitchenware to useful guides and maps to make the most of the surrounding area.

Juan les Pins is very well connected to the rest of the Cote d’Azur. We went to beautiful spots along the coast like Eze, Cannes and Nice, which can all be reached easily and quickly by train, and the train station is only a short walk away from the house. The pretty town of Antibes is even in walking distance.

I can only recommend Villa 1 would definitely come back, as the house is the perfect spot for a relaxing break, which also offers lots of opportunities to explore the richness in culture and beautiful landscape of the region.

A perfect week!

I had an absolutely smashing week in this lovely house. It's very centrally located in Juan les Pins, but becasue it's in a lovely small secluded complex, its very quiet.

The house has everythig you need and was spotless- great kitchen facilities, comfy beds, balcony, ensuite and a great private garden. There's a residents pool too, which is nice and quiet.

It couldnt have been easier to get there from Nice. The bus drops you almost to the door (bus number 250 I think) in no time. The beach is very close (<500m) and the water is lovely, if a little cold! There's also a great bakery close by with the best almond croissants i've ever had.

Couldn't say a bad word about this place really, I certainly hope to come back.

The Perfect Week!

We couldn't have been happier with the week we spent in this lovely, charming house in Juan les Pins.

First of all, the house is very conveniently located. A regular bus from Nice airport takes you almost directly to the door. The beach is a few minutes walk away, as are lots of shops, restaurants (l'Amiral is amazing!), cafes, bakery, supermarket etc. At the same time, it's on a nice quiet street and there aren't many houses in the complex so its quite peaceful. You can walk to Antibes too in about 15 minutes.

The house itself was spotless had everything we needed- fully equipped kitchen, ceramic hobs, dishwasher, tv, hifi, wifi etc. There's a big comfortable bed with balcony in the master bedroom overlooking a nice sunny garden. There's a pool in the complex which looks good though we didn't try it out.

We had such a great week, I would recommend the house to anyone who wants to stay in a comfortable, cosy and convenient house in Juan les Pins.

Great holiday home, great location.

Great holiday house in quiet location but only 5 minutes walk to the bustling hub of Juan Les Pins and only 10 minutes by bus to the historic town on Antibes. The house is airy and cool with the added benefit of air con.

Secluded garden and patio for eating alfresco and lovely shared pool just a few steps away.

Great public transport on the doorstep for exploring the Riviera and plenty of restaurants close by.

A beautiful house in the perfect setting, only a minutes walk from the idyllic town of Juan les Pins. Right beside the beach, restaurants and shops, this property is the perfect place for any type of getaway, for families with kids, couples or groups of friends. The nightlife is superb, with restaurants and clubs staying open late all along the beachfront. The location provides loads of possibilities for day trips, with Nice, Cannes and Monaco all easily accessible by train. Thanks for a fabulous trip!

Juan-les-Pins developed as an amenity in the early19th century for the residents of Antibes. It was connected to the main rail line from Paris in 1883. It was much sought after by artists / writers from France and elsewhere who enjoyed the wonderful light and the superb climate. It was favoured by wealthy Europeans and Americans who visited the Cote D'Azur as part of their 'grand tour'. The annual jazz festival celebrates 50 years in July 2010. This intimate event is stunningly located at La Pinéde, an arena set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean. Juan has also been immortalised by the Peter Sarstedt classic 'Where do you go to my lovely?' The charming and ancient town of Antibes is 20 minutes walk away. Excellent public transport can get you to Nice airport in 40 mins (bus stop 5 mins) and Cannes is 2 train stops away! A car provides easy access to the stunning villages of Provence. Monaco and the Italian market towns of St Remo and Ventimille are a little further.
