Villa La Missive is situated in the area known as Le Petit Juas, a quiet part of Cannes, yet only eight minutes walk from the Palais de Festivals, Marina and seafront.

The luxurious, Ground Floor accommodation comprises large living/dining room, fully fitted kitchen, bathroom, double bedroom and twin bedroom. Fully equipped with broadband WiFi service and LCD TV with English Sky Satellite and DVD player. A colour printer/scanner/copier is also provided.

The ground level apartment, part of a house, is a generous 60 sq MTS, with the advantage of a huge terrace (31 sq MTS). The front gate opens on to the private south facing terrace which has the benefit of the glorious Cotes d'Azure sunshine for most of the day, and the stunning views of the hills behind Cannes Centre may be viewed from the cool and spacious living area at the rear.

We loved our stay here very much. It was the perfect home base to return to after long days touring or baking on the beach We loved how close le Suquet was and enjoyed many nice meals there, particulary Mantel and Mi Figue Mi Raison. Thanks again for sharing your lovely place.

Live like a posh local in Cannes

Stayed at Villa La Missive during the Cannes Lions Festival this year and will likely never stay in a hotel again.

I loved everything about the apartment and found Keith to be a perfect host. The apartment is very clean and well kept and features in-room air conditioning for both bedrooms (important for Americans like me who really need a cool down from the constant sun) and the living room as well as an updated and well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and sound system. The little touches throughout the place made it not only functional but special - the hairdryer and shower are great and well above typical EU amenities, yet the old fashioned shuttered windows overlooking the hills of Cannes combined with the beautiful dining room made it feel like my business trip was actually a vacation.

I truly felt like a local and the 10 min walk to the Croisette made it the perfect location. The only regret I have is leaving this review as I feel word getting out could compromise my ability to book next year!

Met our expectations - highly recommended.

The apartment was very comfortable and nicely decorated, giving it a feeling of being lived in and cosy. There were many thoughtful small touches such as reading books, beach towels, beach mats and shopping bags that added to the overall comfort of our stay.

We loved the patio where we enjoyed meals and pre dinner cocktails.

Location was quiet and residential but close to shops, markets, restaurants and beach - 10 minute walk to most, albeit an uphill walk home, a welcome exercise to offset the morning's fresh baguettes and croissants from the local boulangerie.

Parking was sometimes a challenge but we always found a spot outside or very close by. In the late afternoon spaces always opened up.

The owner, Keith, was very fast to respond to any inquiry and was very accessible - another plus.

Great Location, Comfortable Property

Very comfortable apartment. Well fitted with good sized master bedroom.

Only a short walk into town or a take the number 2 bus at the end of the street.

Would definitely stay again.

Charming Cannes Rental in Residential Area

The apartment lived up to our expectations, it was a joy to return to after a day in bustling Cannes and so much nicer than a soulless holiday apartment. We found it to be well equipped and well placed, with a bus stop a couple of minutes walk away. The local boulangerie was also excellent and a ten minute walk . We collected breakfast from there most mornings. It was a godsend to have a washing machine but on hanging out our washing we were very amused when the lady upstairs later apologised as her cat is a habitual sock/knicker thief and returned the missing items to us in a plastic bag! I think that just about made my sons ' holiday. We loved Cannes too and would be happy to recommend resort and apartment for young families. My only slight gripes are I did think the cleaning charge of 75 euros was perhaps a little high and also that it cost 20 euros in bank charges to transfer the holiday rental to the Keith the owners overseas account. As I say, minor grumbles for what is a quality, obviously much loved property. We would definitely be happy to return here.

perfect stay in Cannes

We (family with two teenagers) enjoyed our stay in Cannes and we were happy to be located outside the noisy Croisette and old town area. Nevertheless it was very easy to access the interesting spots within a 10min walk. The appartment gave us enough space and we appreciated to sit outside the house on the terrace. Even Keith was not present, he was available and helpful by mail. Furthermore, Rita, who is living above, was a very good and also charming assistance to us. For those using the kitchen, it is well equipped, only the dish-washer is somewhat weak. Unfortunately Keith could not place a larger one instead. All- in- all we can recommend this appartment.

This really is just what you want after either spending your days in Cannes or the surrounding area . It really is a very comfortable apartment with an added bonus of having a pleasant terrace area for eating or relaxing outside . The apartment is roomy with a large comfortable sofa , large dining table,2 good sized bedrooms , roomy bathroom and well equipped kitchen . The owner really did go the exra mile for us by supplying a couple of items required for my daughter's baby for which we were really grateful . Fron Cannes centre it is a 10min walk uphill which we found ok even in the August heat .Others may want a taxi for the 2 minute ride. I would stay again - recommended .David
