This beautiful five bedroom, five bath home is located in the historical Wranglers Roost. Wranglers Roost was a stage coach stop in the late 1800’s and then built as a resort in 1930. Fully renovated, while still keeping the old time Western flavor of the original resort, Wranglers Roost offers several acres of play area, the perfect place for your family get together.
The beautiful resort sized pool and an inviting 10 person hot tub in a stunning desert setting provides an exceptional evening setting from which to experience Arizona's unrivaled sunsets. The stars are almost close enough to touch as the location feels far from city lights as the Gavilan peak mountain blocks of the rest of the world. We had our Wedding here on April 2nd 2016. It was the most amazing place to have a Rustic Country Wedding. The Owners were so gracious with every request we had to view and come set up the Venue. I couldn't have asked for a better place to hold my Wedding. I definitely would recommend this Wranglers Roost to anyone looking for the Rustic Western feel for a Wedding. The house is beautiful and I wish we could have stayed for a few days. I want to thank the family so very much for letting us make so many memories here. We will be back for a stay with friends and family to just relax and take in the beauty this place has to offer. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.
Our family spent Thanksgiving at Wranglers Roost. We have 7 grandchildren ages 3 -23, there was something for all. We made S'mores, played sand volleyball, archery, watched movies and played family games. We cooked a turkey and all the usual side dishes, there was adequate seeting at the dinning room tables. We had a great time. Would rent again.
Our family, with adult children, stayed here the week after Christmas and had a wonderful time. Heidi even decorated the living room for Christmas. We were delighted with the historic, rustic central structure of the home, and also appreciated the lovely, modern, clean kitchen and bathrooms,TV/movie room, and wifi. We enjoyed using the hot tub in the evening, and the star gazing was terrific away from city lights. The location was perfect for day trips to Phoenix, the Grand Canyon, and Sedona where we found scenic hiking trails and wildlife. The house was also only about 15 minutes from grocery stores and shops that we needed. When we had questions or needed help or service/maintenance, Heidi or one of her family members responded quickly. As the house was originally a stage coach stop, and then added onto over the years, it is oriented with all the rooms in a line. Traffic flow through the house goes from the kitchen and living room to the game room, then through a bedroom, then bathroom, then next bedroom, bathroom, next bedroom, etc. However, there are doors to the outside porch from each bedroom so that you can go out and around to get to the kitchen or living room if one of the rooms is occupied. Our family had a happy and very memorable week at Wrangler's Roost and would recommend it for any other large family gathering.
All of us enjoyed the time we spent there. The owners were very helpful. The pool was perfect and everything in the house was clean.
We would like to thank you again for everything you did to ensure we had the best stay ever at Wranglers Roost! Words cannot describe how beautiful it was! We definitely had an amazing time and we all agree that we will have to make another trip to Wranglers Roost in the future. Thanks again for everything!
A really great place to stay for family - clean, well laid out - plenty of bathrooms - did have to walk thru
bathrooms to get to each bedroom, but there was an outside door to each bedroom if needed. Not to far
from Phoenix and very typical landscape - desert. Would be good for families with teenagers as there was
a second living room/kitchen with TV and DVD's to watch. Or make noise without elders having to listen.
Too large for a romantic get-a-way - well stocked kitchen - just had to find everything. All in all a great time.
Lake Pleasant, lovely blue water, is about a thirty five minute drive. The 374000-square-foot outlet mall features a wide variety of brand name merchandise at everyday discounts from 30-70 percent. it is also home to the tallest Christmas tree in the nation, and only a 5-10 minute drive.
