The cottage is ideal for relaxing nights at the pub. Only a short walk or maybe stay in for the evening and have an excellent Indian delivered to your door at no extra cost. The cottage is ideally positioned for visiting theatres in Stratford upon Avon, Cheltenham, Malvern, Worcester and Birmingham. The Symphany Hall is a 45 minute drive. Birlingham is renouned locally for its Churchyard covered in Snowdrops.. Pershore now offers a very relaxing Spa for health and beauty. The massages at Ogles are highly recommended. The woodburner in the cottage ensures a cosy feeling although the central heating is ample with new double glazed windows. The latest improvement is a new access poinf with very secure parking in a walled area with an entrance to garden

A wonderful place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This is a great cottage in a great location. It has a lot of character and a great garden with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. It has all the necessary amenities including parking. Its village location provided peace and tranquility and ensured a good nights sleep always. Initially I discovered this cottage whilst looking for somewhere to stay during a business trip. I enjoyed the cottage and the friendliness of the owners so much that I subsequently booked the cottage again for a holiday with my girlfriend. We really enjoyed sitting on the bench in the garden and enjoying the natural surroundings and wildlife.

The owners are very welcoming and have a wealth of knowledge of the area and the best places to visit and see, as well as the best places to eat!

There's also a great pub in the village that served really good evening meals and it was also a place to meet the friendly locals.

I have no hesitation in recommending this place. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book it again.

A little oasis

  • 5 of 5

We had such a lovely stay. The cottage is charming and equiped with all necessary items. Everything was very clean and there is a really cosy vibe to the whole property. We felt at home and Marian made sure we had everything we needed. There were even bread, milk and eggs waiting for our arrival. The garden is amazing and the perfect place to relax, eat and enjoy the views. Our children loved running around and exploring; indoors they were happy to find some toys and lego to play with. The pub/restaurant is a short, lovely walk away and serves great food. Overall a wonderful little holiday!

A lovely, restful base for a holiday

  • 5 of 5

We and our seven-year-old daughter really enjoyed our week in the Pig-Sty in October. It was lovely to find fresh eggs, tea, milk and bread waiting for us on arrival. The owner gave us a warm welcome but, although her house is close by, the layout of the garden and private parking area allowed a high level of privacy, along with the reassurance that the owner was on hand should anything go wrong (it didn't). The tree house and the large garden were obviously the high points for our daughter, and we enjoyed helping ourselves to the windfalls from the apple trees. The house was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed to cook at home. Sadly, the village pub was closed for all bar one of our evenings, as the owners were on holiday, but when finally we did get to try it, the beer was good and the menu looked really lovely, so we'll definitely eat there next time. All in all, just what we hoped for.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location

  • 4 of 5

The cottage is very pretty and is in a very peaceful location with a large garden and stunning views which made sitting outside during the evening very enjoyable. The local pub, which is within easy walking distance, is a real gem and highly recommended. Walks from the cottage are numerous and fantastic with breathtaking scenery and very few people. Bliss!
