This is a great cottage in a great location. It has a lot of character and a great garden with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. It has all the necessary amenities including parking. Its village location provided peace and tranquility and ensured a good nights sleep always. Initially I discovered this cottage whilst looking for somewhere to stay during a business trip. I enjoyed the cottage and the friendliness of the owners so much that I subsequently booked the cottage again for a holiday with my girlfriend. We really enjoyed sitting on the bench in the garden and enjoying the natural surroundings and wildlife.
The owners are very welcoming and have a wealth of knowledge of the area and the best places to visit and see, as well as the best places to eat!
There's also a great pub in the village that served really good evening meals and it was also a place to meet the friendly locals.
I have no hesitation in recommending this place. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book it again.
We and our seven-year-old daughter really enjoyed our week in the Pig-Sty in October. It was lovely to find fresh eggs, tea, milk and bread waiting for us on arrival. The owner gave us a warm welcome but, although her house is close by, the layout of the garden and private parking area allowed a high level of privacy, along with the reassurance that the owner was on hand should anything go wrong (it didn't). The tree house and the large garden were obviously the high points for our daughter, and we enjoyed helping ourselves to the windfalls from the apple trees. The house was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed to cook at home. Sadly, the village pub was closed for all bar one of our evenings, as the owners were on holiday, but when finally we did get to try it, the beer was good and the menu looked really lovely, so we'll definitely eat there next time. All in all, just what we hoped for.
We spent a weekend here and had a great time. Cottage was clean and well equipped. Perfect location for walking, breath taking views. A welcome basket of bread, eggs and milk was an added bonus too. We would definitely return and most definitely recommend it .
We have just had a wonderful weeks holiday,at The Pig Sty,the weather was kind,we received a very warm welcome, from,Marian, the owner,(thanks for the Milk, and Bread).

The cottage is very pretty and is in a very peaceful location with a large garden and stunning views which made sitting outside during the evening very enjoyable. The local pub, which is within easy walking distance, is a real gem and highly recommended. Walks from the cottage are numerous and fantastic with breathtaking scenery and very few people. Bliss!
Most things you need for a week of holiday activity and much more are packed into the Cottage. Welcoming hostess is keen to assist and enable the stay to be up to expectations. The gardens add tranquility to the environment, which ensured we had an enjoyable week in the Cotswold's.
The village has a village only road so very peaceful location. Surrounded by thatched cottages and wild life sancturies. A bird feeding station can be easily observed from the cottage. The River Avon is a short walk and fishing is available.. Walking is excellent on Bredon Hill and only a short drive to The Malvern Hills.
