This is a beautiful property that offers a home like atmosphere as
well as complete privacy. The property is in the community of
Plantation Key Colony. This is one of the best communities in the
Keys. Ample roads, large lots (space between homes), very quiet, very
family oriented community. This property is part of 'The Village'.
Meaning as a resident you have access to Founders Park that is
considered to be one of the most complete parks in the Keys. This is
a solid home that has been kept in a pristine condition and has all
the comforts I high standard living. The location is ideal for all local activities and is still close to Miami.
Vacation Rental Amenities
The property has 3 bed rooms and 2 complete bathrooms.
One bedroom is equipped with a king size bed and an entertainments center (Flat screen TV, DVR Satelite with Full Subscription (HBO, Showtime, FOX, CNN etc., Surround Headphone, Computer with wireless key board & DVD player).
The other bed room is equipped with a bunk bed set up with an additional trundle bed (3 twin size beds in total). This room also has an Flat screen TV, DVD Player, Satellite TV and stereo.
The third room is on the 1st floor and is considered a man cave. It is air-conditioned (split unit / high efficiency) and has a full size futon. TV and refrigerator.
The TV room has a complete entertainment center. This
includes a 42 inch High Definition Flat Screen TV, JVC Receiver,
DVD/Blue Ray Payer, Satellite receiver, bedroom and includes a complete package with all HBO’s, Showtime,
Cinemax etc.,) and an X-Box with wireless controls. This is all seen
from a large custom sectional sofa that has a recliner and sleeper
sofa (an additional queen bed with upgraded air dream mattress).
Then you go to the kitchen and find a maple wood cabinets protected by a granite counter with under mount sink. Appliances are all stainless steel and the customary utilities are included (toaster, coffee maker, plates, cups, silverware etc.,
The bathroom is beautifully decorated with a keys like theme. The
bath is a shower with a oversize head for a complete and relaxing
shower after a long day at the beach.
The home is also equipped with a modem front loading Maytag washer and dryer combo. All, linens and towels are also included. The property is also equipped with many security features. It is equipped with an alarm that not only includes perimeter and motion sensors but it is also has an integrated fire and CO2 sensor. In addition, the property is accessed by specific combination for each renter this includes all entry points (entry gate & main door). No one gets a key and every renters gets a unique code that is never repeated.
On the first floor you find a full size bed room / man cave. An entertainment open area with overhead fishing rod holder, refrigerator with ice maker, an entertainment center, professional ping pong table, domino table, dart game, ring toss game (traditional Bahamian game of trying to hook a metal ring by swinging it until it is caught by the hook). There is also a complete bathroom also nicely decorated so that you do not need to run upstairs.

There is also comfortable chairs, beach chairs (easily taken with back pack feature), a twin size stand alone hammock that can be placed between the trees on installed rings and a gazebo with a stainless steel BBQ with protective cover. Another gazebo with a ceiling fan, lighting and 6 person outdoor table. The back area is large and full of tree's that offer shade and lots of privacy. In the center of the yard is a custom build Miami Heat basketball court with adjustable back board. The property is completely fenced in with a chain link fence in addition to a privacy mesh along the rear wall for privacy and to avoid the basket ball from going into the neighbors home.
There are two covered areas. A large one with a 20 feet tall opening a 15 feet wide opening that is 40 feet long. This one is reserved by the owner which leaves his boat on site. However, accommodations can be made if needed. This oversize canopy can easily accommodate a RV and has a 30 amp electrical plug for RV’s in addition to a sewer. Yes, bring your boat and further enjoy the Florida keys with no waits and hassle in our private ramp! Meaning inside the perimeter you can park your boats and cars. There is also more space for guests in front of the gated area.
Activities and Attractions
Community private ramp! Several nice spots close by for fun or
fishing. Can provide GPS points to all needed locations (make you
look like a local). Minutes from the famous tiki sand bar 'Whale
Harbor'. Great to hang out or go to the ocean side for one of the
best fishing areas in the Key's.

a Winn Dixie, Blockbuster, McDonalds, Chinese Restaurant, Italian Restaurant, Movie Theater, CVS Pharmacy and Baptist Hospital. Yep, I don't think you need anything else.

This property is equipped with a 30 am plug for travel trailer or motor-home as well as sewer connections. Also, two 115v outlets! Plenty of space to park your rig and full hook ups for those travelers who need a break.
My wife and I both work in the medical field for over 15 years. This has been our summer vacation home for 8 years now. We do lots of camping and ATV trips with the family in the winter which is why it available during the winter time through the end of May.

This property is built to entertain. You have plenty of options within the property to spend quality time in. Also, the property is so well located that you have many options for entertainment from venturing to Key West for a day trip as well as a short distance from Miami. In addition, the neighborhood is very quite providing lots of privacy. There is a restaurant 'Craig's' and supermarket 'Pay Fair' within a short walking distance. There is also a large shopping center on mile north of the property that say a chain super market, movie theater, multiple restaurants (Chinese, subways, MC Donald's, etc.,), pier one imports, ice cream parlor and more. There is also a Hospital next to this shopping center 'Mariner's Baptist Hospital'. In addition, you have 1/2 mile north a open marina with boat rentals, tours etc.,
Space! You have a large open area with plenty of entertainment options from a ping pong table to a basketball court. Close to many restaurants, parks and amusement parks. Centrally Located with easy access to all parts of the Florida Keys!
My husband and I stayed in this home with our two teenage sons over the summer. It was in a perfect location and the owner maintains this house beautifully. It was very comfortable and there was plenty to do at the property when we weren't on the water. You won't be disappointed with this rental!
I had the pleasure of staying in this home for 4 months. It is a quiet and comfortable home in a great neighborhood. The downstairs entertaining area is amazing and you should never be bored. Highly recommended!
Property has a great convenient location with options to go to Key West for day trips as well as go to Miami which is only one hour away. Very quite neighborhood with lots of privacy and space!

Owner will be keeping his boat under the covered canopy in front of the property. The owner will come from time to time in order to service his boat and in rare cases to use the boat. However, this is not a common occurrence specially during cold periods. Visits are mainly to run the engines and it would be most likely every other month and advance notice will be given. Your needs will be considered to avoid visits while you are using the area down stairs. Furthermore, the home is equipped with a hot tub that requires care. In order to avoid problems with the unit the owner will hire a private company to service the hot tub once a week. In the event you have no interest in the hot tub it can be drained and the service will not be required. A discount would be provided for this option. Also, we have a cleaning lady on call that can clean the home for you if you desire. Just let me know and I will provide you with this persons number. Security, this home is keyless. No one has a keys to this home. Each guest has a unique code to access to the property that is removed after there term. The front gate lock will have this code as well. Furthermore, the property also has bi-weekly lawn care. The home does not have green areas but it does have an abundance of trees all around. The lawn care service will enter the property thru the boat gate, which is a separate lock and they will not have your code. Please keep in mind that the property does produce a lot of leafs during the months March and April. The city provides curb side pickup. You will have a large rolling garbage tank and also a large rolling blue recycling tank. On site you will have an additional 4-6 open containers that are used for tree trimming only. All utilities are included but we ask that the guests use of power is moderate. Any excessive use that is considered overuse will be subject to extra charges. We have over 10 year consumption history on the property that will serve as a base for regular use.
