We loved this house. It is beautifully appointed and has nice views of Lake Placid. The lake is easily accessible from the house and wonderful for kayaking and swimming. The house has two balconies for coffee in the morning or evening sundowners. The owner was a great communicator and super thoughtful. The town of Lake Placid is easy to get to by car and is a wonderful area full of fun restaurants and and a wide range of activities year round (okay, maybe not mud season). Definitely visit this house for a relaxing vacation.
Three couples traveled up to the magical town of Lake Placid,NY. This condo has every bell and whistle you would desire and all 3 bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen is state of the art. The view of majestic Whiteface Mountain is glorious. We went to the Lake Placid Lodge for a delightful dinner, a short walk from the condo. Staying in a condo this nice is so much better than 3 couples retreating into hotel rooms. We lounged around at breakfast planning all our excursions. The owner is very friendly and the rental was seamless.
Exceptionally clean, amazing views, very accommodating. This home has it all - the attention to detail that went into this home including the high end upgrades makes it somewhere you don't want to leave! We went for a weekend in October and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The location is perfect. Leslie was very easy to work with especially given the short notice to rent it to us. We travel to Lake Placid several times a year and normally stay right in town however after this vacation, I would rent again and again from her.
We took a "boys weekend" with 6 of us for a mountain bike race. The unit was immaculate, comfortable, spacious and welcoming. The hosts provided a great book of info for things to do, places to eat, etc. etc. The views were ridiculous. Pictures of the lake from the deck looked like postcards. Reasonably priced and the grounds were amazing. We will definitely be back.
We spent a weekend here in March and had a lovely time. The views are spectacular and the condo had everything we needed for fun and relaxation. Leslie was a joy to work with! Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We will be back!
We rented this condo for the week of New Years, there were 6 adults ranging in age of 23-55. This condo was so beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, close to all amenities....it was just perfect! Leslie was extremely easy to work with, giving us restaurant recommendations and suggestions on things to do. Overall I can't say enough positive things about our experience. Lake Placid and Whiteface were great, providing plenty to do on off skiing days. I would highly recommend this condo!
