The property was the seat of John Twemlow, who testified in the celebrated Mary Malpas murder case, and was the seat of the Barony which became extinct in 1918.

The large master suite includes a bedroom with king size bed, with exposed beams, Juliet balcony, seating area for x2, TV, walk-in wardrobe and large en-suite with bath, large shower & x2 sinks. Bedroom 2 has a king sized bed. Across the landing is a tasteful family bathroom. Opposite is bedroom 3 which has twin beds, bedroom 4 also has twin beds. Please note there are a number of steps both within and outside the property, therefore, it is not suitable for those guests unsteady on their feet.
