About Ralph Kimbrell

Hi, my name is Ralph I am a graduate of the NYS Ranger School, I love the Adirondack Mountains, Forest, and waters. There is somthing magical about the woods, the aroma of pines, the fresh air, the sound of the wind through the forest, the sound of a mountain river. I own and operate Mountain River Properties, and build, sell or lease Cabins in the woods, and sell land also. Come on up and enjoy the pristine setting that the Independence River Cabin offers.

I am also a singer/ songwriter/guitar player and have an album and 2 singles released (on I-tunes and other sites), mostly christian contemporary music. My favorite place to play guitar is with friends around a camp fire.

Soooo Quiet!

  • 5 of 5

We were here for an anniversary trip. Thank you to my sister who recommended this cabin! Soooo quiet. Soooo peaceful. Had plenty of wood to keep warm, hiked around property and listened to the river just do its thing! Made our meals w/o a problem. Super enjoyed the swing and porch......both were great for reading or just chilling. Found myself outside ALOT! It snowed a little and I made mini snowmen...so cool! Thank you , Ralph. You have a great thing going there!

Excellent!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I booked this cabin for the week of our 10th wedding anniversary. The cabin was in great shape and had everything we needed, with a wonderful wood aesthetic throughout. Being able to wake up to the sound of a rushing river right outside was very refreshing. We needed to get away from it all and this did the trick perfectly as we are both fall people and the changing foliage was out in force. We don't know when, but we definitely want to come back!

Heaven

The perfect romantic getaway for nature lovers. The constant sounds of the creek running and nothing else lulls you into a very relaxed state. We Caught a few beautiful brook trout in the creek and just enjoyed short wooded hikes.

Heavenly!

  • 5 of 5

If you want a beautiful place to stay with an equally wonderful natural environment, then Ralph's log home is the place to rent. The location on the Independence river is almost surreal. A great place for humans and canines to unwind. My dogs loved running around the yard, wading in the river and walking down the horse trails to a secluded sandy beach. We will be back!

we spent 4 nights in your cabin. Its very clean and spacious. My favorite is the back porch, loved sitting in adirondack chair and having my morning coffee while listening to that river. We went on 2 day trips to Old Forge and Sackets harbor. Looking forward to coming back in the cold months to use the wood burner in the cabin. Thanks Ralph
