Totally remodeled (Fall, ’15) by IDC, Maui’s premier design firm, Elua 402

has a warm and inviting island feel. The custom teak cabinets, granite

counter tops, open kitchen, spacious showers and top of the line

appliances all add to your total comfort. The 180 degree view and quiet

location make this the perfect vacation condo.

Our unique condominium provides every amenity for a wonderful vacation

—with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, Tempur-Pedic king mattress and

deluxe linens in the master suite to a large comfortably furnished lanai with

barbecue. 25 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, 2 pools, a deluxe

workout room and the perfect sandy beach complete your experience in

this gated Wailea community. As the grandparents of 4, and recognizing

that this is a family vacation spot, we do want to advise that our

condominium is not really suitable for toddlers and very young children.

Confused about renting a beach front location or a view unit? Comparing

apples to oranges is hard—an ocean front unit in Elua village may not offer

our view, may be farther from the pool and could be a major budget buster!!

Nicely Renovated - Great Location

We had a great time on our trip. The location is one of the best, with the walk to the beach only about 5 min away (this is with kids in tow). It is a very good beach that is quieter than many of the others, with great snorkeling. The unit was very well done in the remodel. They have included many things most rental units do not. We never felt that we were missing something. Kitchen was well stocked, chairs, umbrellas, boogie board and sand toys. Beds were also very comfortable, and we are fairly picky! You could see the pride of ownership in this condo. Only downside is you are above another unit, and people who were there were very loud from early morning (5am) to night. Also pools onsite not overly child friendly, as our kids and all other kids were constantly told to take toys out of pool (small dive toys) because nothing is really allowed. I think they really want it for owners who want to go down to pool for quiet or lane swim. One pool was closed our entire stay, so not sure if that one more kid friendly and cannot comment on that one. Besides the limitations on kids and privacy just because neighbors close, the unit is one of the best I have seen in the comparable unit range/size. Would recommend to others.

Love this unit and location!

This unit in Elua Village in Wailea is fantastic. Outstanding floor plan and exquisite furnishings. Owner is a pleasure to deal with along with his Maui staff. Most highly recommend this unit!

Location is great between Wailea Marriott and Andaz with Waliea shops withing minutes on foot or car. Lots of restaurants and shopping so closeby! Beautiful beach and views. Grounds are exquisitely maintained.

Top Notch Unit

Tastefully remodeled unit with high end touches and spacious rooms. Not only is this unit comfortable, clean, and well maintained, but the full ocean views from the family room are breathtaking. In the evening we sat on the couch with a glass of wine and watched the sky turn a beautiful magenta as the sun went down. The private beach is a three minute walk and perfect for snorkeling and watching sea turtles, colorful fish, and other marine life. There are also lots of private areas for lounging that overlook the ocean, which only the condo residents can use. Lastly, this condo complex is right next door to the Shops of Wailea which is an awesome complex full of nice stores and restaurants. Unit 402 has it all and we will most definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Comfort in Paradise

We came for a wedding at a nearby mega-hotel. While our friends put up with expensive meals and a noisy bar-scene keeping them awake we slipped away to our glamourous 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo where we could cook what we wanted, wash our clothes and it was quiet. The décor is modern island fare and very contemporary; the appliances are new and convenient. We went to the pool and beach daily, barbecued on the deck and ate every meal out there enjoying the ocean view. Don't pass this one up.

Little piece of heaven

My daughters and I truly enjoyed your beautiful condo this week. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped with anything you need for cooking and the view is beautiful. I have stayed at the Elua village many times and it never disappoints how well maintain the grounds are with an amazing pool above the surf. The beach at Elua is pristine and a wonderful place to snorkel. If you're looking for a beautiful quiet setting this would be the place.

FABULOUS CONDO WITH AMAZING VIEWS

We have stayed in Elua Village many times over the years, but this was our first stay in 402. What a treat!! We were there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, and this amazing condo was the perfect place! Beautifully appointed and beautifully furnished, the owner spared no expense in this fabulous remodel with the best of everything! Both bedrooms were equally as nice as were both bathrooms! Best mattresses we have ever had on vacation! The master closet was huge with beautiful wood hangers, great shelves and a safe. As a realtor, I especially enjoyed the desk in the master which allowed me to set up my "island office" for any necessary work. Did I mention the view??? To die for!! There are no words to describe what you see when you walk out onto the lanai! Spectacular ocean view with lush vegetation all around you!! With walls of windows in the living area, you can enjoy the view inside and out! I loved the rattan draperies throughout the condo. What a nice touch!!

If you are staying in Elua Village for the first time, the paved walk that runs from the Andaz to the Fairmont Kea Lani is a breathtaking walk above the ocean filled with the smell of beautiful vegetation and flowers! It is our favorite morning ritual! The Shops at Wailea are wonderful and we enjoyed the new market there for specialty items, great breakfast sandwiches, salads, fruit, etc. Don't miss happy hour at Tommy Bahama, Monkeypod (best Mai Tai and the Ahi is exceptional), Gannon's at the golf course and a local favorite, Café O'Lei in Kihei (great prices and great food)! Outside Wailea, our favorites include Makawao, which is a quaint little town with great shops and the 100 year old Komoda's Bakery that is a MUST!! Their coconut Danish rolls are spectacular, not to mention the cream puffs, donuts on a stick, butterflake rolls, breads and pies (apricot peach was awesome)! Order ahead, because they sell out of a lot of things by afternoon!! Haliimaile General Store is another great place to eat, and, of course, Mama's Fish House is a dining experience that is worth the drive!!

Mark, thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo! We couldn't have asked for more!! It is definitely our "happy place", and we can't wait to come for another visit!!
