Beautiful Two Bedroom, Two Shower-Room Central London Apartment

This beautiful white stucco fronted property is situated in the centre of London in the popular Pimlico Grid, 'St George's Square'. The apartment has been elegantly renovated throughout, with comfort in mind. It has its own private entrance, leading into a beautiful tiled hallway. The sitting room has a large bay window. There are two double bedrooms; one with a king size bed and a newly-fitted en-suite shower room and toilet, and one with two single beds. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with built in televisions. The second bedroom leads out to a private courtyard patio. There is also an independent shower room with toilet along the hall.

The apartment is conveniently serviced by a small shopping mall located in Dolphin Square where you can buy your emergency supplies, or take advantage of a quick meal out. It is also only a stones throw away from the amazing shopping experiences you can have in Sloane Square, Knightsbridge, Oxford Street, among others.

Kitchen Facilities and Sitting Room: There is a fully fitted kitchen, well stocked with utensils and everything you could need for your stay. There is an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. The kitchen also looks out over the patio terrace , so if you're inside, you need not be on your own and can participate in what's going on out in the courtyard. Due to fire regulations, barbecues are not allowed. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility area for your use.

The sitting room is bright and airy. There are two deep and comfortable sofas with seating for 6 people. There is Freeview television and DVD facilities for your use. There is also Broadband internet access and a printer which you can connect to your computer, should you need to.

Places of Interest: The apartment is situated in one of London's beautiful garden squares and is in a perfect location for seeing the whole of London. It has easy access to public transport via Pimlico tube station (5 mins walk), Victoria Station (10 mins walk) which is serviced by Gatwick Airport (Gatwick Express), Stansted Airport has easy access via Tottenham Hale (Stansted Express train) and Tube to Pimlico Station. Most places are only a taxi ride away. There are a number of restaurants locally serving a wide variety of international cuisines. Within walking distance, most tastes are catered for. The Tate Britain Museum is a 10 minute walk away. The Tate Modern Museum and the ' London Eye', one of London's major tourist attractions, is a boat ride away. The River Taxi, which you can pick up on the Embankment, can take you East to Canary Wharf, or West, towards Putney and Kew Gardens. Oyster Cards are the simplest way to get around London and are available to buy at Pimlico tube station.

St Georges Square: St George's Square was originally laid out in 1839 as two parallel streets running north-south but by 1843 had been developed into a formal square. It is currently London's only residential square open to the River Thames. The gardens are open for you to use. They are well kept and peaceful, and it's a perfect place to relax and read your Sunday newspaper in the sunshine.

This bedroom opens on to the patio, where you can dine in privacy on beautiful balmy evenings, weather permitting, away from the bustle of London. All bed linen is supplied and the beds will be made up for you. There are trouser presses in each room and a hairdryer is supplied.

Comfortable, attractive and well-appointed flat on a leafy square near the Thames in Pimlico

We stayed here with our 2 teenaged grandchildren for 5 days. There was everything you needed to feel right at home. It was a short walk to the Pimlico tube station and an even shorter walk to the river. We walked along the Thames Path to Parliament Square in 20 minutes and to Millbank pier in fifteen to take the Thames Clipper, a river bus which is part of public transportation. I had been worried about finding good nearby restaurants that teenagers would like. No problem. One of the best places we ate on our trip was Pimlico Tandoori five minutes away. Also good and close were Grumbles and Pizza Express which has many delicious things besides pizza.

Our teenagers liked The Tower London (don't miss the Yeoman tour) and the tour of Parliament which is given every morning when Parliament is not in session including all all of August.

Last but not least, Una White, was very helpful and responsive.

Great location, great apartment!

We stayed here with our two teens (12 & 15) and loved the apartment. It was perfect for location and for coming "home" in the evening.

The apartment was clean and having two bathrooms, two bedrooms plus a living area inside and outside were awesome (some alone time for all after spending all day together :)). The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was quiet and cool (it was very warm when we were in London).

We found the location excellent. We walked to the local café everyday for coffee and breakfast and had a few meals at the Pizza Express which as excellent. We also walked to Buckingham Palace, to the hop on, hop off tour (Victoria station is a km away) and to our coach tour (also Victoria). When the sight seeing took us a little further from the area, cabs were easily found at the end of the street (where a few hotels are located).

Una was an excellent host and checked in on us a few times (although we needed nothing!). It was awesome to be able to do laundry as well.

Thank you for a terrific stay, would definitely recommend this apartment to others!

Even more than expected!

The apartment was clean, spacious, and convenient. We spent a week in London with 2 adult children. Enough room for all of us. The owner was exceptional. She checked in daily and even assisted us in navigating London. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property on a Beautiful Square

We absolutely loved this property.

The location was perfect, short walking distance to all the attractions and close to coffee shops, groceries and cafes. Two tube stations within a five or ten minute walk depending on which you wanted to go to and a prime bus route (even the night bus) five minutes from the door.

The flat was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated.

Loved the little outdoor space for relaxing after a busy day.

Fully equipped kitchen for cooking and nice comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms.

Working with Una was an absolute pleasure. Totally responsive and could not have made the entire process any easier.

We can't thank you enough for making our holiday fantastic!

My family and I had a magical holiday staying at this beautiful flat. Una, our host, was amazing and so helpful. The place was immaculate and perfectly located close to the underground for easy access to all the wonderful sights of London. Pimlico is such a quaint little town with lots of lovely shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to visit again!

The apartment is situated in beautiful St. George's Square in Central London, in the heart of the Pimlico Grid. You are 150 metres from the River Thames, 5 mins to Pimlico Tube Station (Victoria Line) and 1 stop to Victoria Station and the Gatwick Express. There are lots of good restaurants nearby, a comprehensive file of restaurants and places to visit will be left for you in the apartment. A car is not necessary. London's West End shopping, theatres and parks, are all close by; the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Canary Wharf, Westminster Abbey, Kew Gardens. You can use the Thames River Boat service to take you to any of these places or alternatively use the London Underground or buses. London black cabs pass frequently, and private cabs are available to hire.
