Beautiful Two Bedroom, Two Shower-Room Central London Apartment

This beautiful white stucco fronted property is situated in the centre of London in the popular Pimlico Grid, 'St George's Square'. The apartment has been elegantly renovated throughout, with comfort in mind. It has its own private entrance, leading into a beautiful tiled hallway. The sitting room has a large bay window. There are two double bedrooms; one with a king size bed and a newly-fitted en-suite shower room and toilet, and one with two single beds. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with built in televisions. The second bedroom leads out to a private courtyard patio. There is also an independent shower room with toilet along the hall.

The apartment is conveniently serviced by a small shopping mall located in Dolphin Square where you can buy your emergency supplies, or take advantage of a quick meal out. It is also only a stones throw away from the amazing shopping experiences you can have in Sloane Square, Knightsbridge, Oxford Street, among others.

Kitchen Facilities and Sitting Room: There is a fully fitted kitchen, well stocked with utensils and everything you could need for your stay. There is an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. The kitchen also looks out over the patio terrace , so if you're inside, you need not be on your own and can participate in what's going on out in the courtyard. Due to fire regulations, barbecues are not allowed. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility area for your use.

The sitting room is bright and airy. There are two deep and comfortable sofas with seating for 6 people. There is Freeview television and DVD facilities for your use. There is also Broadband internet access and a printer which you can connect to your computer, should you need to.

Places of Interest: The apartment is situated in one of London's beautiful garden squares and is in a perfect location for seeing the whole of London. It has easy access to public transport via Pimlico tube station (5 mins walk), Victoria Station (10 mins walk) which is serviced by Gatwick Airport (Gatwick Express), Stansted Airport has easy access via Tottenham Hale (Stansted Express train) and Tube to Pimlico Station. Most places are only a taxi ride away. There are a number of restaurants locally serving a wide variety of international cuisines. Within walking distance, most tastes are catered for. The Tate Britain Museum is a 10 minute walk away. The Tate Modern Museum and the ' London Eye', one of London's major tourist attractions, is a boat ride away. The River Taxi, which you can pick up on the Embankment, can take you East to Canary Wharf, or West, towards Putney and Kew Gardens. Oyster Cards are the simplest way to get around London and are available to buy at Pimlico tube station.

St Georges Square: St George's Square was originally laid out in 1839 as two parallel streets running north-south but by 1843 had been developed into a formal square. It is currently London's only residential square open to the River Thames. The gardens are open for you to use. They are well kept and peaceful, and it's a perfect place to relax and read your Sunday newspaper in the sunshine.

This bedroom opens on to the patio, where you can dine in privacy on beautiful balmy evenings, weather permitting, away from the bustle of London. All bed linen is supplied and the beds will be made up for you. There are trouser presses in each room and a hairdryer is supplied.

Perfect location, lovely flat, great owner

Working with Una was great. She was very responsive and the communication was fast and clear. The flat was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had a nice variety of pans, plates, utensils, etc. for cooking in. The wifi was fast and kept the business side of our trip moving. The short walk to the Pimlico tube station was perfect! I would stay here again.

Excellent apartment and experience.

The apartment was perfect. The condition, appearance and the set up were all top notch.

The Owner was most professional and cordial. She communicated effectively before, during and after our stay. No issues whatsoever.

The apartment fit our family of four well. The two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and the other with two twin beds, was perfect for us and the two children.

The location is very convenient to the Underground at the Pimlico station. Made our sightseeing of London very easy.

Would highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful flat in a great location!

This garden flat is modern, spacious, well-appointed and located in a great part of London, close to the tube and bus lines. Good appliances including high quality washer and dryer. Una, the owner, is outstanding. She made sure our stay was excellent and was very efficient. Overall, we had a fantastic time in London and will definitely look to stay there again on our next trip! Be sure to take a look at this property if you are going to London.

lovely property, comfy beds, great showers

Our family of 3 spent 9 nights in this lovely property at the end of May. We loved the location for evening walks along the Thames & being so close to Pimlico station made it a breeze getting around London. There are a couple of little convenience stores on the way back from the tube station where you can pick up some fruit, soft drinks & bits and pieces. We walked to the small tesco & waitrose about a 15 minute walk away but found they were pretty limited. We found that it was easier to catch the Tube 1 stop to Victoria station & if you look for the Cardinal place exit this takes you up to a lovely M & S including food so really we did a lot of our grocery shopping there. I heard there is a large Sainsburys in Wilton street but we never quite got there. About the flat. We found it to be very quiet and a really pretty location. The beds were excellent with lovely linens. The lounge room had plenty of room for the 3 of us to relax in & I really liked the fact there was the little central courtyard area where you could throw open the french doors in the 2nd bedroom and enjoy the fresh air. We loved living at this location. Una the owner was an absolute delight to deal with. She responded to all my questions in a really timely manner & really made our stay as easy & enjoyable as possible. The only down sides were that we had trouble with Mobile phone reception which of course is not the fault of the property rather that 3's coverage was rubbish right there in Pimlico. I found that I needed to go up on to the street along the side of the park before I was able to get coverage. That said the wifi in the flat worked well so keeping in touch via email was a breeze. We were surprised & disappointed with the fees for paying via paypal which added several hundred dollars to our costs in the end. Apart from that would highly recommend.

Elegant, clean , central and extremely comfortable

Arrangements were easy and payment secure. Apartment was central, safe, beautifully decorated and has everything you could wish for away from home.

The apartment is situated in beautiful St. George's Square in Central London, in the heart of the Pimlico Grid. You are 150 metres from the River Thames, 5 mins to Pimlico Tube Station (Victoria Line) and 1 stop to Victoria Station and the Gatwick Express. There are lots of good restaurants nearby, a comprehensive file of restaurants and places to visit will be left for you in the apartment. A car is not necessary. London's West End shopping, theatres and parks, are all close by; the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Canary Wharf, Westminster Abbey, Kew Gardens. You can use the Thames River Boat service to take you to any of these places or alternatively use the London Underground or buses. London black cabs pass frequently, and private cabs are available to hire.
