Two character apartments in a recently renovated period building with a lift in the historic centre of Palma de Mallorca. Most emblematic pedestrian street famous for its galleries, churches, shops, cafes and artistic community. Next to the spectacular Mercado Olivar with fruit and meat extravaganza, champagne and oyster stalls, lobsters and sushi bars. The building is in the centre of the old pedestrian zone and is surrounded by churches and monasteries, galleries, cafes and shops. Not to forget remarkable fresh food Mercado Olivar with spectacular fish and jamon stalls. Plaça España is 3 min walk away and provides transport connection to the rest of the island and airport (train, metro and buses). For families with children behind Plaça España there is a spacious green park with playgrounds. In 5 min walk distance towards Calle Sindicat there is a public sports centre with 25 m indoor swimming pool open 7.00-22.00. 3 min walk in the opposite direction will bring you to Plaça Mayor with cafes, crafts market and various shops. 4 min further and you are by the Cathedral, Almudaina Palace, Parc de la Mar and Paseo Maritimo. Being just 13 min drive away from the airport and in the heart of the Old Town is complemented by proximity to the beach (15 min walk) and no traffic noise. Direct bus link to the airport 20 min.
Apartments are available for short-term rental as is with no additional services. They are in a good state with all equipment in a working order, and are expected to be returned in the same condition. Further photos available.
Our family moved to Mallorca in 2001. We find the island one of the most beautiful and hospitable places in Europe. Not only nature and climate make it special. We have been very lucky as well to enjoy the richness and diversity of local traditions and cultural life.

We fell in love with the area for its proximity to everything we enjoyed about Palma. Fresh food market next door, perfect transport connections, park, not to mention shops, cafes, galleries etc. The pedestrian street is full of artists and musicians during the day and quiet after shops close. Beaches are accessible by a comfortable air-conditioned bus. For winter exercises there is a newly built swimming pool on the parallel street and bikes are available for rent in town to explore the historic part, the seaside promenade on Paseo Maritimo and the old harbour of Portixol.
As the apartments are still used as family homes they have quality furniture and all modern comforts. We live next door and will be happy to share our local knowledge if required.

Your apartment is lovely and is very central for getting around Palma, the apartment manual, guides and leaflets you have greatly assisted our trip. We can´t believe our week here is over, it has gone by so quickly. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and hope to return to your apartment in the future. The property is centrally located in a beautiful area of Old Palma close to all amentities and transport. The flat is very well equipped with everything to make the stay that little bit more comfortable and fun, such as bucket and spades and beach towels for days on the beach! Communications with the owner are prompt and always helpful.
We had a fantastic stay in the appartment. The big terrace and the rooms have a fantasic view over the Old Town of Palma. It is perfect for a family of four persons with two separated bedrooms (each with a bathroom).The location is perfect along the shopping street and close to the Olivar market. The appartment is extremely well equipt and we didn't missed anything. Zaretta welcomed us with great hospitality and gave us a lot of useful information and suggestions. We can strongly recommend this appartment.

We spent one week in Palma and loved to stay in this apartment. Loft was just as in pictures. Very clean and suits well for a family with two kids. Apartment has a perfect location near good restaurants and shops. Also the railway/bus terminal is easy to reach. Loft has a nice view over the old town. Zaretta was so nice and helped us to plan our stay. Five stars for a reason!
Stayed for a couple of nights to explore Palma and we were very pleased with our choice. Great apartment, clean, perfect location, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, excellent hosts!
