For families with children behind Plaça España there is a spacious green park with playgrounds. In 5 min walk distance towards Calle Sindicat there is a public sports centre S´Estel with 25 m indoor swimming pool open daily 7.00-22.00. 3 min walk in the opposite direction will bring you to Plaça Mayor with cafes, crafts market and various shops. 4 min further and you are by the Cathedral, Almudaina Palace, Parc de la Mar and Paseo Maritimo. Why Zaretta chose Palma de Mallorca

We fell in love with the area for its proximity to everything we enjoy about Palma. Fresh food market next door, perfect transport connections, park, not to mention shops, cafes, galleries etc. Beaches are accessible by a comfortable air-conditioned bus. For winter exercises there is a newly built sports centre with a large swimming pool on the parallel street and bikes are available for rent in town to explore the historic part, the seaside promenade on Paseo Maritimo and the old harbour of Portixol.

This is a quiet respectable residential building. No noise between 11pm and 9am. Strictly no noisy parties. No smoking in the flat, smoke alarm is fitted. Storage of bikes in the flat is not allowed.

A slice of real city life

It was great to siesta with the sound of the city below. Every attention to detail was given by Zaretta, along with great ideas for special views and experiences. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Perfect location. (It's a shame the parking is so expensive but most people won't have a car.)

Owner's Response: Thank you, Sue! Just to comment on parking for future tenants. There are several options. Street parking free 20.00-9.00 and over weekends. Underground parking: 1. By minutes 0.03/minute. If you leave the car for 24 hours - 23 eur/day 2. Monthly: 24/7 - 125 eur Night rental 30 eur/month Mon-Fri 20.00-10.00 + 24h weekends Day rental 90 eur/month Mon-Fri 7.30-20.30 + 24h weekends Full details see on "parkings palma com". In any case I recommend to all tenants discussing with me your planned use of the car prior to your trip.

Lovely apartment in the centre of Palma

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with a lounge/diner, two large bedrooms, a bathroom and a utility room. It has good quality facilities throughout, including very good air con (an essential for Palma in the summer). There are also nice extra touches such as free coffee, an English DVD library, and a comprehensive book of instructions and suggestions.

But perhaps the best thing is the location. It is right next door to an excellent market, and within easy walking distance of many tourist attractions, shops and restaurants. It is also close to Placa d’Espana, which is Palma’s central hub for buses and trains. We used the efficient bus system several times.

The owner, Zaretta was friendly and helpful beforehand on email, and her husband was equally helpful when meeting us on arrival.

Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay there again.

The flat was well equipped and located.

The property is centrally located in a beautiful area of Old Palma close to all amentities and transport. The flat is very well equipped with everything to make the stay that little bit more comfortable and fun, such as bucket and spades and beach towels for days on the beach! Communications with the owner are prompt and always helpful.

Fantastic view over old towm in Palma

We had a fantastic stay in the appartment. The big terrace and the rooms have a fantasic view over the Old Town of Palma. It is perfect for a family of four persons with two separated bedrooms (each with a bathroom).The location is perfect along the shopping street and close to the Olivar market. The appartment is extremely well equipt and we didn't missed anything. Zaretta welcomed us with great hospitality and gave us a lot of useful information and suggestions. We can strongly recommend this appartment.
