This is the best vacation home I have ever stayed in. The photos are an accurate representation of everything in the home. The home is immaculate, comfortable and convenient. I would buy this house if I could. We hope to come back again, and I would recommend this home to my family and friends. The owner is so easy to work with. The location is gorgeous and it is close to Missoula. Be sure to eat at my favorite restaurant in Missoula; Cafe Dolce.
We like to be a bit off the path and this met every hope and expectation we had. Adam was courteous, immediately responsive, left us to our own stay, but was there for any question in a moment. The house rules were great and not "oppressive" as we have seen from other places that require you to become the housekeeping. The wifi was stellar fast! The 3 floors were gloriously decorated from beautiful sofas to the remote fireplace (wall controlled). The table even was expandable to allow for us all to play a nice game of cards. A fantastic weekend! Will be back :)
We love this little house. It was perfect for our small family of three (myself, husband, and 1.5 yr old daughter). This was so much more comfortable than staying at a hotel. It was great to have all of the amenities of home. Jill is an excellent host. She brought a high chair over to the house for us and made sure we had everything that we needed. The house is very well stocked with blankets, towels, kitchen supplies, spices, etc... It is so easy to walk downtown from here. I would definitely recommend this house and we would love to stay there again when we visit Missoula!
This was a very nice place to stay. The listing described it very well and it was clean and is well maintained. It was convenient to the wedding venue which was our main purpose, but also to Missoula, brew pubs, and restaurants. The views from the deck in the front of the house are fantastic! We had no issues with anything in the house and highly recommend it.
This location is fantastic. It is close enough to Missoula to go to the city but quiet enough to feel like you are in the woods. We saw deer and turkeys right off the deck! We had our 4 children and their families with us so it was a full house. The space made it great. Each had room on their own but great gathering space for the entire group too. The deck was an awesome space. The description and pictures accurately describe the house. Nice that there are bedrooms on all three levels to provide that separation, especially for nap time.
I would agree with some of the other comments that the kitchen is a little understocked but knowing that going in, we just got a bunch of paper plates and plastic silverware. This was fine as we were on vacation and as few dishes as possible was fine with me!.
The Lolo Peak Breweing company is just a short walk away (even shorter through the trail out the back). It was a great place to get away for a brew with a few or stop for lunch or dinner with a crowd. Kids are welcome so a great spot. There are also great hiking trails within a short drive.
The owner is very easy to work with and makes sure everything goes smoothly. We would definitely stay there again if we were headed back that way with such a large group and would recommend it to others. All of the families had a great time!
This house was unique & wonderful & spacious. There were 15 in our group & we managed to find rooms for everyone to be comfortable. The scenery was beautiful & it was great to sit out on the deck & enjoy the day.
The owner was great to work with - very kind & accomodating. We would absolutely stay in this house again if the opportunity comes up.
