Ecrins Etoiles 9C, offered by Alps Accommodation Samoens, is a gorgeous 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment situated in the heart of the historic village of Samoens. It is in an exclusive location for your winter and summer holiday, 150m to the ski bus stop or less than 500m from the express ski lift (which takes less than 5 minutes) or an 8 minute walk!

It is a charming home, decorated with a lot of attention and taste. Good care has been given to extensive equipment in this brand new, but yet very cosy and mountain style apartment in this MGM residence, completed in November 2009. This warm and well-equipped apartment offers everything for a comfortable stay for 4 people at any time of the year.

From this apartment you can do everything on foot, just leave and forget your car in the secure underground parking. It also has a private ski locker, fully fitted kitchen, and in addition to the dishwasher there is a washing/drying machine. There is also flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo, I-POD docking, WiFi and free NESPRESSO coffee.

Summer: Samoëns is also an ideal location to spend your holiday during the warmer months. The charming old streets with an array of regional commerce, original architecture and friendly residents provide a wonderful atmosphere that makes you welcome throughout the whole year.

Winter: The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France and has one of the lowest lift to beds ratios…so much smaller queues than other well know resorts.

Samoens offers some fantastic alternative activities in the winter, so if you are a non-skier there are plenty of other exciting things to take part in, why not try snow shoeing for example...a fantastic experience after which you can enjoy a delicious Savoyard meal in a Yurt on the side of the mountain!

Summer: Samoens is thriving in summer and offers a truly excellent holiday destination for family activities. With average temperatures in the mid to late 20s and numerous activities on our doorstep, it's a holiday not to be missed. With the Grand Massif Express lift now open in summer, you can easily enjoy: Mountain biking, hiking, climbing, rafting and other river activities, quad biking, horse riding, canyoning, swimming in lakes, adventure parks, parapenting, archery, golf, historic tours, botanical gardens, waterfalls, nature reserve, wildlife walks, kids club etc... These are all within 5 minutes of Samoens! A little further afield is Annecy, Geneva and Chamonix Mont Blanc. If this is all too much, then simply relax in the numerous cafes and even at the beaches that surround the local lakes. It’s not essential to drive, but in summer a car is useful and we are only 8 hours drive from Calais. Airport transfers can also be provided and a taxi service operates in Samoens.

A fabulous, well located, family apartment.

My family stayed in this beautiful apartment in Samoens, of March last year 2014. You will find everything you could possibly need here, as it is very well equipped. The photos are a true reflection of the apartment, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Having the underground parking and ski locker for your use is fabulously convenient. The main village square is just a short walk, where you will find the ski hire shop close at hand, which makes life easy especially when you have 2 young children. The village is a good base for you to access the mountain region. The Grand Massif Express which services Samoens takes you to the top in minutes. The ski area is extensive, with slopes for all abilities. We were here end of March and there was still plenty of snow and not crazily busy. I would highly recommend this apartment and we look forward to returning for another winter, and stay for a summer holiday.

First Class Apartment with a homely Feel

Great family apartment everything is there you could possibly need from Wifi to fondues set. If you don't fancy cooking you can order a very reasonable take-away to eat in from the Mountain Kitchen (and they do a kids menu). The beds /mattresses are very comfortable and the towels are soft (not the usual hard stuff you get in rented apartments) very clean and welcoming. The apartment was lovely and warm and great shower pressure. It is very easy to get to the ski bus 4 mins walk with our 7 & 9 year old and they run every 10 mins plus you can get the little sk train . Bonus was the Village is 2 mins walk out of the door. Lovely shops for shopping! Booking through Alps Accommodation we got 20% off our ski hire , 5% off our ski passes and they offered great resort support if you needed anything and help with booking restaurants. Couldn't recommend enough

Family ski holiday

My family have just returned from a skiing holiday in Samoens, staying in this beautiful apartment. You will find everything you could possibly need here, as it is so well equipped. It is as beautiful and comfortable as it looks in the photos and extremely well kept and spotlessly clean. It is so convenient having the underground parking and ski locker for your use. The main village square is just a short walk around the corner, where you will also find the ski hire shop. The village is a nice base for you to access the mountain region. As we were there in half term week the ski slopes and village were very busy but if you have a car you can drive up to the Vercland gondola which is not as busy as the Grand Massif express which services Samoens. I would highly recommend this apartment and hope that some day I may be able to return for a summer holiday.

Girls ski break

I recently spent 3 nights in the appartment L'ecrins etoile, it was alovely experience. The appartment is beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. I was there with my 2 daughters who loved theflat screen tv and mod cons. So central we wandered into samoens each evening and enjoyed the buzz in town.

The small touches and welcome pack all add to the experience. Only 1 small gripe the towels are a little on the small side!!

We loved the appartment and will definately be back!!!
