A modern, contemporary villa set in a new, secure and small domain. Bright spacious accommodation in a relaxing environment. Two bedrooms, one double & one twin/double. Terrace for outdoor dining. Beautiful tranquil setting in countryside 5 minutes drive from historic village St Paul de Vence. The property was built in 2009 and is finished to a very high standard throughout.

St Paul de Vence:
This beautiful and charming medieval village sits atop a Provencal hillside and overlooks mountains and sea.
Nestled in the Domaine de la Bergerie, our villa was part of the newly developed luxury accommodation which sees 18 properties sitting pretty in a lavender-lined, picturesque setting just outside St Paul de Vence.
Our primary thought was that this two-bedroom, two-bathroom pad was even better than it looked in the pictures online. We were immediately impressed by the double-height living room windows and the clean, contemporary feel of the inside, with its white walls, creamy tiles and splashes of colour in the artwork and rugs.
If you do one thing here, make sure it's...
Make the most of the pool! Being surrounded by so many beautiful places to visit, it's easy to go out on all sorts of day trips, and leave little time for relaxing. The pool is shared between all the villas, but there was never more than two other parties there at one time during our stay. And it's a stunning swimming pool, from its lavender-fringed path, to its size, the cleanliness, and the view. You'll find beach towels in the twin room downstairs, and deck chairs in the garage.
Around and about:
The villa is only 15 minutes from Nice airport and, therefore, is close to the coast. We enjoyed a trip up to Beausoleil, back through Villefranche and Monaco, eventually arriving at the beautiful Plage Mala beach in Cap d'Ail. It has stunning scenery, but be warned: it's a long walk back up, and the beach is pebbly. In the opposite direction you'll find Antibes, Juan-les-Pins and Cannes. If you get stuck, you'll find a thorough guide of local attractions and restaurants at the villa.
Although the beach is near, don't miss a trip inland. It's achingly picturesque and much less crowded. We drove through Tourettes sur Loup, Bar sur Loup, up to Gourdon and back down the Gorge du Loup, stopping off at the Waterfall. Then we took in Grasse, where, just in case you're interested, we found our wedding venue!
Stayed one week sat 27th June 2015. From the first initial enquiry everything was perfect. The booking process and contact with the owners and mike and Lesley in France was efficient and very friendly. The previous reviews say it all in relation to the property and location just simply perfect. We did not want to leave. We highly recommend and we will book again. Thank you.
This newly decorated two bedroom Modern Villa is situated near Saint Paul De Vence, it is a gorgeous villa and the owners have thought of absolutely everything you'll need for an enjoyable stay in the South of France. It is tastefully decorated throughout, the furniture is modern presenting an overall feel that is very chic in this beautiful open plan living area. The kitchen area is fully equipped with excellent quality accessories and everything you'll need, There are two lovely bedrooms ; one upstairs with an on-suite shower & toilet and one downstairs with a bath & overhead shower and a separate toilet. Even the garage area as been utilised to enhance your stay with washing machine, dryer, an extra fridge and lots more. The view from the bedroom is magnificent (and if you know Saint Paul de Vence you'll know what I mean) so be able to see it when you wake up each morning is just fabulous,. The Villa sits within a private gated Domaine with other Villas, it is very quite and peaceful, with beautifully landscaped gardens which lead you to the shared pool. For the odd rainy day there is sky TV which provides many, many channels and of course broadband wifi. It's a perfect holiday Villa.!!!!!! Many, many thanks Ciaran.
we really enjoyed our holidays at your wonderful house equipped with all mod cons (especially the washing-machine and the air-conditioning). It's a quiet location in a nice and safe surrounding. We' ve started so many great trips from there (Nice, Grasse, St. Tropez, Grand Canyon du Verdon) and we've found 2 wonderful restaurants in Vence, "Les Lavandes" and "La table de domi" (they speak a little bit german there!). Only these little midges have been a little bit unpleasant but they didn't stop us from sitting on the terrace for every meal. We really can recommend your house. Thanks very much!
We stayed two weeks in this lovely villa. Our family has 4 persons, two adults and two kids and the apartment was just perfect for our needs. Two nice bedrooms in different floors and both with good beds. No hurting backs.
The kitchen is well equiped and there is another fridge in the garrage that provides extra space for soft drinks -if needed.
We usually started our morning with breakfast on the terrace and then went for a swim in a pool that is close to the appartment. It is a pool, that is shared with the other apartments, but there was rarelyanybody else.
The property is in a quiet place which is surrounded with fence and a gate. And there was no partyingin the surroundings, so it was a nice and relaxing.
The aparment was easy to find with the instructions from the owner, but a car is a must. Even if Saint Paul is close in distance there is a long and steep climb which is very hard on a hot summerday. Also distance to grocery and beaches are such, that they are best done by car. And I would recommend a smaller car. Some of the roads in the surroundigs are quite narrow which can be nervewrecking with a large vechile.
There is a lot to see in the surroundigs. Of course Saint Paul and Vence's old town are nice and also the fondation Maegh is a must see - even if you would normally not visit galleries. The place it self if fascinating. But also Monaco, Menton, Antibes Cannes and of course Nice are close by. The marineland and Aquasplash in Antibes are great with kids and the best beaches are in Juan Les Pins.
There are nice and moderately priced restaurants in Saint Paul, and also one great but not cheap plase -Toile Blanche -nearby within a walking distance. In most places we got service in english snd usually there was someone to translate the french menus. We noticed that by following the Tripadvisors recommendations you normally find good places.
We would recommend this place to families with 1-2 kids or travelling without kids as there is a lot to see. Nightlive seems slow so not suitable for partylovers.
Could there be something better? That depends on individual preferations, but to us it was perfect. There migh be cheaper places to stay in Riviera, but this place has style.
What a glorious place to stay! We spent a wonderful week in June 2010 in this wonderful, luxurious villa in a most beautiful part of France. It is peaceful, contempory and very well equipped. The agents were most helpful and the area is wonderful for just chilling out or sight seeing. The pool was a great asset - we spent long memorable days just chilling out. Thank you for surpassing our expectations!
St Paul de Vence is a beautiful medieval village situated on a hilltop above the villa. The world famous La Colombe d'Or restaurant, whose walls are adorned with original works by Chagall, Matisse and Picasso is in the village. St Paul is packed with beautiful shops and art galleries, and is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the culture of the area.
The villa is new and is located in a beautiful rustic setting looking up to St Paul. It's within walking distance of beautiful St Paul de Vence,15 minutes drive from Nice airport, 40 minutes from Monaco, 30 minutes from Cannes. Other towns close by include Vence, Antibes, Mougins & Biot. St Tropez is one hour away and the famous market in Ventimiglia is also one hour by car. For the children there is Marineland in Biot and a Safari Park in Frejus. You are ideally situated in the hills between Nice & Cannes, an ideal location to explore the Cote d'Azur & hinterland, famous for art & culture and of course food & wine.
The villa is also 5 minutes drive from the newly opened Polygone Riviera, a new shopping complex which includes Printemps, Zara, H&M, Mango, Superdry and many other shops and restaurants as well as a Casino and cinema complex.
