About David And Joyce Mast
I am married and have 3 kids that all graduated from MU. I am a building contractor and own rental property. My wife has worked for the university for 27 years. I am also an active member of a Kiwanis Club and we are both active in our church. Most of my family are big tiger football fans.
David And Joyce Mast purchased this House in 2011
Why David And Joyce Mast chose Columbia
We have done some traveling and have used VRBO to find accommodations and have been interested in finding a property that would work for this. I bought this house and completely rebuilt it because was in terrible shape. It is very easy to get to any place in the area because of it's location. The deck overlooks the woods behind the property. Across the road is a cow pasture.
What makes this House unique
It located in a very quiet area, but close to Hwy 63. Both bedrooms have a queen bed. The kitchen has stainless appliances and granite counter top. There is a great cedar deck on the back. It has a washer and dryer. Flat screen tv with satelite. Close to Rock Bridge State Park, hiking & Devils Icebox

Our stay was great!
This is a very nice place. Very clean and looks new. Beds were comfortable and kitchen has all the conveniences of home. Just outside of Rock Bridge State Park, and just to the south side of town. Cows right across the street but still close to town stores. Very nice location. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Our little Havapoo had a wonderful time also!
Thanks for the comments and I am glad you had a good stay in Columbia. Hope to see you again sometime. David
The house was very nice, but no scissors available. Not a single sharp knife in the place either!!
Great heat, tv works. If you need to cut meat however, there are no sharp knives nor scissors nor something to sharpen the blades of the knives there. It was a nice experience!
Wonderful weekend retreat
The house was impeccable, super clean and cozy. Easy drive into downtown, but rural enough to have a quiet relaxing space away from everything. Kitchen was gorgeous and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. David was very nice and came out to meet us when we came into town. This was our first trip to Columbia and it was phenomenal. Would definitely recommend.
Cozy Little House
Loved staying at this house...it was so much more comfortable than a hotel.
nice and remote but very close to Columbia
very nice clean and thank you for letting my dog stay...still could not figure out the whole i-phone and wi fi thingy.,,, but that is all about getting away from it all
Hope to see you again. Thanks
Great location and clean
This location is just south of Columbia and easy access to Jeff City and downtown Columbia. The house was clean, quite and well stocked with household items. The only thing I wish they had was internet service.
Mo Tiger sports are a big attraction. We also have Columbia College and Stephens College.
Show me state games bring lots of people in the summer. The roots and blues festival in Sept. Isle of Capri casino is about 30 minutes away in Boonville. There is a FREE airshow memorial day weekend. There are several wineries in the area. The Katy Trail attracts bikers and hikers.
Rock Bridge State Park is close by and is a great place to hike and to explore the cave (Devil's Ice Box).
Columbia has great shopping, museums, historical areas, several antique shops and flea markets.
