Enjoy a “Lo Key” Vacation at a Beachfront Villa on Coco Bay
Lo Key Villa—the name says it all. If you’re looking for a relaxing, comfortable vacation home right on the beach, it doesn’t get any better than this.
I designed Lo Key Villa to showcase the natural beauty of Coco Bay, a pristine strip of sand that’s perfect for swimming, snorkeling, fishing and kayaking as a family.
Multiple porches and a sun deck overlook the white beach and sparkling turquoise water. You could easily lose track of time relaxing with a chilled cocktail.
Indoors, the cool , island-inspired decor and bright, airy rooms invite you to slow down and savor the time with family and friends.
“The Penthouse,” features a super spacious master suite with an open-concept living room and kitchen.
The real Beauty of lo key is ? its super flexible !The two floors function as self contained units .You can rent one or both depending on your needs .
This listing is for the penthouse apartment.

You’ll find plenty more to do and see within a few minutes of Lo Key Villa.
An easy 10-minute walk brings you to the Atlantic Ocean, where you can swim, snorkel, lobster, and fish. The coral reef—just a couple hundred yards off the coast—is teeming with wildlife.
Or, hop on a rented golf cart and zip around the island. It’s a two-minute ride to The Green Turtle Club and a five-minute ride to the Bluff House Club. You can also cruise on over to historic New Plymouth; it’s a scenic 20-minute ride from the house.
There is a public dock 150 feet in front of the house.
Gorgeous Lo Key Villa may be new, but it’s already attracted plenty of attention. Make sure to contact me today while your dates are still free!
Please note rental price is $185.00 per night .
I have spent many years traveling the Globe and still not found a place that matches the friendliness ,beauty and charm this island has to offer.
James Byrne purchased this villa in 2012
I choose the Coco Bay Area to build my second house on Green Turtle because of its sheltered central location and the breathtaking views of Cocoa Bay which looks like a blue lagoon on certain days .And never stays the same color .I also wanted to be close enough to the ocean to hear the roar at night.I wanted to be able to walk out my door on to a sandy beach and be able to tie my boat up at the dock in front of the house.
I built Lo Key to my specifications , I designed the house to take full advantage of the views .I oversaw every aspect of the construction and made sure only the best of materials were used.Including Hurricane proof awning windows which are a great way to regulate the air flow .I paid an extra price for building a concrete block construction but it was well worth it ,as it naturally keeps the house cool ,does not collect mildew and needs hardly any maintenance .I removed all the invasive trees off the property and planted native trees and shrubs ,including a total of 40 Coconut trees.
The sheltered location gets the right amount of breeze , not like some of the Oceanside properties that get sandblasted when the wind picks up
The wife and I stayed at Lo Key this past week with our four year old. It was a phenominal house and location. Seeing the reviews before we got their we expected a lot, and I think our expectations were blown away once we arrived.

Thanks for making our visit to GTC so awesome!
My husband and I stayed at Lo Key Rentals for our honey moon in January. The apartment was very clean and modern. A fully equipped kitchen made for some lovely meals.Yes, there is a blender, coffee maker (with filters) baking dishes, pots and pans, and the water is potable at the apartment. We brought a lot of food over from Marsh Harbour because our taxi driver said food on the island was very expensive. There honestly wasn't that much difference in price. Island food is a little pricier but not much. There is also a big cupboard full of DVD's and books which we were so grateful for on the rainy days. The wifi worked splendidly. Always plenty of hot water. The view from the porch is lovely, overlooking Coco Bay. We loved having breakfast out there on the warm days.
We were so grateful to have randomly met up with Dawn (the cleaning lady) on our way to the apartment and she showed us around the apartment and helped us familiarize ourselves.
It was so nice to have a golf cart to buzz around the island from Brendals Cart Rentals, right off the ferry dock. The were very helpful and informative. We also rented a boat from Reef Boat Rentals for one day and we couldn't have asked for a better boat. The owner was so friendly and helpful and full of information about the islands.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lo Key Rentals and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wishing for a quiet vacation in the bahamas.
I took my wife and 2 teenage boys + friend to GTC this summer for 9 days. We kept our boat at the GTC Club Marina. The marina is just a 5 min ride via golf cart from Lo Cay.
Lo Cay was absolutely perfect for our needs. The teenagers had their own 2 bed room apartment on the lower level. My wife and I enjoyed the 1 bedroom master on the 2nd floor.
Everything about these units a 1st class for a GTC stay. The view from the 2nd floor is great. You get a great sunrise in July.
We hope to return one day. I hope others can have the same experience as we did.
We thought we got the best bang for our buck . House was lovely view was terrific . All around great time hope to do it agian next yr for longer.
We rented 2 houses, this one and the one with the large dock in front next door. This was was INCREDIBLE! I was a little concerned at first because of the size. However, it was as promised with all amenities listed. Washer and dryer were amazing, the beds were beyond comfy, it has its own little beach right out front for the kiddos. I would ABSOLUTELY love to stay here again! It was perfect! Thank you to the owner!!
We rented both apartments at Lo Key as many family members arrived for a destination wedding. Coco Bay provided a central gathering place for many of our group and was a wonderful place to swim and snorkel. Both levels of the house were well appointed and had everything necessary. The view from the upper apartment was wonderful. Both upper and lower porches were screened allowing total access to the property and able to enjoy eating meals and enjoying the view without interference from flying insects. Green Turtle Club was an easy quick walk and the road to the Bluff House goes right past Lo Key. The property manager/housekeeper was attentive and helpful answering the questions we had about traveling about the island. If we have the opportunity to return to Green Turtle Cay, we would stay at Lo Key if possible and highly recommend it.
