We hadn't even left Edinburgh and we were already making plans for a return trip! Circus Mews was the perfect place to stay if you like easy access to the highlights of Edinburgh. The lovely independent pubs, coffee shops, cafes and restaurants of Stockbridge were in easy walking distance of the house. The street itself is one of the most enchanting mews in the country and not to be missed! Would we recommend Circus Mews? YES!
Alt var helt etter beskrivelsen.Nydelig leilighet, ren og pen!!! Varm og hyggelig velkommst med god rødvin.Sentralt og samtidig rolig område.ANBEFALES!
We were 4 girls looking to explore Edinburgh for the first time - the location of Circus Mews was perfect to do this as you were in walking distance to the shops and restaurants! Loved the city and we would definitely come back - See you soon! Apartment was beautiful, plenty of space and clean - We particularly loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom! Would definitely recommend this to a group of friends it ticked all of the boxes!!
We stayed for 3 nights. Flat was well located on an incredibly beautiful, quiet street and had everything you could need. Beds had the option to be a king or two twins so it worked out perfectly for our family of 4. Close underground parking. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We loved this beautifully appointed haven, so close to the town centre but so peaceful. Appreciated the owner meeting us on arrival and returning midweek to help with the underground parking for a new guest. The 'village' of Stockbridge just around the corner, is an interesting part of the city and has plenty of eating places. We enjoyed Peter's Yard on one night- an unpretentious and homely Pizzeria. We would certainly recommend the property and hope to use it again someday; it was the perfect retreat during a busy festival. We would have appreciated being able to open the front windows wider (one was completely stuck shut)- it was not a major problem but would have been, had we been there in the mini- heatwave a few weeks earlier. But it's a minor gripe in an otherwise delightful stay.
Great location, close to central Edinburgh sites yet quiet and in its own neighborhood full of lovely shops and appealing restaurants and pubs. Mark Greenaway's bistro around the corner was a great find. Comfortable beds and sleeping arrangements were perfect for family of four with two teenage girls. Very clean and reasonably modern and well maintained. Kitchen was nothing to write home about, but perfectly functional for a few dinners at home rather than eating out every night. Great value for money.
Edinburgh New Town is only a short walk from George Street and Princes Street, the area has stunning architecture and there are so many restaurants and shops. It is probably, slightly quieter and less touristy than the Old Town by the castle.
