Why rent just any vacation house...when you can spend your vacation in this new home with the most unique ocean view roof deck in town?
Located at 121 Broadway in York, this 1,800-square-foot, three-story home has four bedrooms, a beautiful kitchen, a spacious living area, 2-1/2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, dishwasher, a 55” flat screen television, and WiFi internet access.
This home has an open living concept. When you enter, you will see a large family room/kitchen combo. The kitchen has all the comforts of home including a stainless steel full-size refrigerator (with cold water and ice), freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen is loaded with cooking supplies, including a lobster pot.
The dining table can accommodate six people, and the bar can seat four people. Connected to the kitchen is a spacious living area with flat screen television with DVD/cable, two leather sofas, and a leather chair/ottoman. The first floor has a spacious half bathroom. (Please note there are NO bedrooms on the first floor.)
The home has four bedrooms. On the second floor, there is one bedroom with two twin bunk beds and one bedroom with a queen bed…each with its own view of the ocean. There is also a covered porch with picturesque views of the ocean. The second floor has a full bathroom with bathtub and shower, as well as a convenient washer and dryer.
The third floor has two bedrooms. Awaken to a spectacular ocean view in the master bedroom, complete with a queen bed and a sofa with pull-out queen sleeper that comfortably fits two adults. This room has an abundance of windows that drench the room with ocean views. And if you’ve got business to take care of, you’ll find a quiet office cubby with a desk.
The other third floor bedroom also has a queen bed with yet another spectacular view of the ocean, as well as a bathroom with shower.
To make the bedrooms as large as possible we omitted the closets….but there are plenty of dressers and drawers where you can store your belongings, as well as stacked hangers on the backs of the doors.
From the third floor take the stairs up to the glass-fenced private roof deck, where you can soak up the sun, enjoy the 360-degree horizon, kick back with a cup of coffee or have outdoor meals with your family. From this level, you can enjoy the incredible sights and sounds of the ocean…and you won’t believe the stars at night.
This home has central air conditioning/heating. Please note that parking is tight and there is enough room for three cars. If there are more than three cars, they must be parked legally on the street. In addition, there are about 6 steps from the outside to front door entry, and about 15 steps in between each floor.
Your vacation can be as relaxing or active as you want -- there is plenty to do in York Beach. Choose Long Sands, a beautiful two mile stretch of white sandy beach, or Short Sands, known for its carousel, playground and arcade. Both beaches are just a short walk from the house.
The home is located about a half mile from the historic Nubble Lighthouse in Cape Neddick, one of the most photographed lighthouses in the USA.
Food tastes even better in York, with a variety of restaurants -- especially seafood -- for just about every taste. Also nearby is the famous Stonewall Kitchen, whose flagship store and cooking school are based in York.
York is incredibly historic -- it was the nation's first chartered city in 1641 and the first incorporated city in 1642. History buffs should visit the Old York Historical Society in York Village, which includes a museum and the oldest jail in America. Here you can step back in time to New England colonial life 300 years ago. The living history museum of Old York encompasses nine buildings including the old jail, a schoolhouse and a tavern.

York Beach is an extremely beautiful, relaxing and kid-friendly vacation spot. With its relaxing beaches, small town atmosphere and friendly residents, it's the perfect place to escape.
With its modern, tasteful furnishings and open floor plan, this newly constructed home has everything you need in a vacation home. From the incredible roof deck down to the convenient lobster-cooking utensils, you are certain to remember this home long after your vacation ends.
We just spent a family vacation at this lovely property! The furniture has all been updated and there was plenty of room for all 8 of us. The best part is the roof top deck that has gorgeous view of the ocean! Also, two beaches and the Nubble Lighthouse are within short walking distance. We would most definitely stay at this location again, and highly recommend it!
The house is GORGEOUS! The view SPECTACULAR especially from the upper floor bedrooms & roof-top deck. I'm not sure what other seasons are like but we went in the Fall. It was quiet & peaceful & very relaxing. There was a total of 5 & we had plenty of space & it could easily accommodate a few more. We walked to short sands beach & the nubble lighthouse (beautiful) & Browns ice cream around the corner!! The weather was really nice! Mild & sunny!! We definitely recommend this property. We are definitely returning. I'm quite certain you'll love every minute of your stay.
This home was perfect for myself and family. We all had our own space, lots of room, three bathrooms worked out well. There were 6 children, 3 under 3, with 3 highchairs, we still had lots of room in the dinning area. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the fridge was large enough to hold food for us all. The wifi was great, and loved the large screen TV.
The location was perfect, we walked to the beach everyday, and to the light house every evening. The BEST part of this home was the roof top, the ocean view was amazing, and we even got to watch fireworks! Everything in the home, floors, furniture, stairs are all washable, (great when you have 6 kids!)and the washer and dryer came in very handy.
I would highly recommend this home for anyone except senior's or anyone who would has difficulty with stairs.
although the views were beautiful this rental ad for the property was misleading. The parking area is much too small for a family of 12. A family of 12 requires more than 3 cars especially if the guests are coming from out of town. We had to pay an additional $100 for offsite parking. There were no closets anywhere in the house and no adequate towel bars. The house does not comfortably sleep 12. It comfortably sleeps 10. For what we received , this house is overpriced. The contract said there were 6 beach chairs available to use - there were only 2! There was supposed to be an outdoor shower to use, there was none.
This spacious, newly-built house was truly as advertised, easily accommodating the eleven people in our party. My son, a professional contractor, gave it "rave" reviews (not something he dishes out often on the workmanship of others); I should add he took copious notes on several aspects of the design. The appliances and fixtures in the kitchen and bathrooms, flooring, woodwork, cabinetry, window treatments and bedding all displayed a dedication to quality in the unit's construction and interior design rarely seen in vacation rentals. The stairs were a bit of a challenge for those of us (like myself) in our 70s and 80s but I managed a daily trip or two to enjoy the company of others on the unique rooftop deck. Recommended for vacationers to the southern Maine coast looking for a clean, bright, top-grade accommodation.
We had a great vacation in York, ME, and this house was perfect for it. We had up to 11 adults plus a baby for two of the nights, and even on a rainy day, it felt like we had plenty of space. The roof deck sealed the deal for us to choose this house, and it did not disappoint. Beach access was also important to us, and the walk to the beach and downtown, lighthouse, and Brown's ice cream were all very manageable. The house is well stocked, and the owners were very responsive. Being new, the house lacks a little of the exterior charm of some of the surrounding beach cottages and mansions(!), but it is very functional and the views from the roof deck more than make up for it. I highly recommend this property for your vacation in York.
