PARKING:
Parking for 1 vehicle
Parking in Breckenridge is strictly enforced. To avoid towing or a ticket adhere to posted signs and parking allocations at all times. If you need additional parking for more cars, paid overnight parking is provided by the Town of Breckenridge in two areas of town, 1) south of town at the Stephen West Ice Arena and 2) north of town (also accepts RVs and trailers) at the Airport Road satellite parking lot.

WARNING: 4WD or AWD vehicles required in the winter, snow and ice will be on all surfaces including driveways and roads.

The 4 O'Clock Lodge complex is 2 1/2 blocks from downtown Breckenridge! Unstrap your boots at the end of the day and check out all the boutiques, restaurants, and nightlife that this historic town has to offer! The condo is fully stocked with necessary cooking and dining utensils and linens, as well as family/children's videos, books, board games and puzzles for your enjoyment.

4 O'Clock Lodge 28 is a charming two bedroom- with loft, 2 1/2 bath, ski-in condominium equipped with Free Wi-Fi. Located on the 2nd floor of the 4 O'Clock Lodge complex, this cozy mountain condo overlooks the stream and 4 O'Clock Ski Run. This beautiful, spacious unit boasts two gas fireplaces, four televisions, including a 40" flat screen, HDTV, and a blue ray DVD player.

Get a great night sleep in the master king-size bed, and in the second bedroom, you'll find two twins. Make your way to the loft area and snuggle up to a queen-size bed and three separate twin beds. A queen size sleeper sofa sits in the living room for additional sleeping accommodations.

At the end of the night, cuddle around the gas fireplace!

The washer & dryer is in the unit.

Winter Highlights:
Walk up the street (500 feet, or 50 feet to the free shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes) to get to the Snowflake Chairlift. You can make your way to the highest chairlift in North America, the Imperial Chair, and ski down 3 1/2 miles back to this condo for lunch, or at the end of the day to soak those tired legs in the hot tubs located at the Upper Village Pool Complex, which is a 7 minute walk from the unit. ( No parking available). Enjoy Breckenridge's annual Snow Sculpture contest the last week of January. Next to the Snow Sculptures is the Ice Castle, which stays open until late March. Ride through the streets of Breckenridge in a mountain sleigh, drawn by a team of Belgian or Percheron draft horses. Enjoy April's month-long festival of concerts and activities in Breckenridge.

Summer Highlights:
Hike or bike up the mountain on the 4 O'clock Trail, just behind the complex in the summer. Enjoy the 4th of July parade, river rafting on the mellow Blue River, the Breckenridge Pro Rodeo, and the National Repertory Orchestra concerts. You can also enjoy Breckenridge's Fun Park on Peak 8, featuring an alpine slide, two-person roller coaster, miniature golf, climbing wall, fun maze and pony rides for kids. Horse and pony rides up the mountain are also available at the Breckenridge Stables on Peak 9.

Moral of the story: if you’re looking for a place *just* ski and sleep- then this is your place. It’s like a frat house: plenty of beds that are decent to sleep on. It’s like a time capsule: the crockpot and iron (and most other small appliances) are probably older than i am. I think the spiders that have made webs all around have lived there just as long. It’s just plain dirty. As a VRBO owner, it’s just the small details that could make the place really enjoyable… starting with the basics: DEEP CLEAN REGULARLY and replace all the things that are broke. Blinds are broken. I had to plunge the toliets twice. Call the property manager to fix the livingroom fireplace and replace the batteries in the carbon monoxide detector. Speaking of: there’s something so hot on the living room wall- it melted my purse. I think it’s the internet router. The TVS are ridiculously old (another easy upgrade). And the ice maker just produces a full container of one big block of Ice. Knobs are missing on the crockpot and the stove. There wasn’t any reusable bags for us to use (Colorado requires them). No Tupperware to store leftovers. And the knives haven’t been sharpened since they bought the crockpot. There was a whole TWO board games in the whole place and all of the supplies are used up and still just stored in the boxes (can ya at least throw out the trash). Pens that are stored with the games no longer work. I went through the condo and found other peoples clothes, empty laundry containers, empty kitchen supplies. But at least the heaters work and you are really close to the snowflake lift. It’s sad really, that this place with a little attention could be really nice.

Overall it served our needs but, I would probably not stay here again. There were plenty of beds for all of us (and more) however, the beds in the loft are mattresses on the floor. Which is fine for kids but not adults. We ran out of hot water after the second person so the remaining three had cold showers. The location is great - ski in but not ski out. You have to walk about 200 feet to the snowflake chair lift, which is super close, but when lugging all your ski gear and high altitude it's a pain. The directions to the unit could use more description (second floor etc.) but easy enough to find. The hot tub is a communal one and not worth going to. We could not get the main fireplace to work. I called and someone walked me through it but still didn't work. They gave me the impression that I was bothering them so I did not call back. There were no check-out instruction, even though the welcome email indicated there were. I emailed them and still haven't heard back.

It is not skier friendly. Not updated and not.clean
Not skier friendly. 2 long, slippery flights of stairs for condo. It was not very clean, one knob from stove missing, underwear in drawers, kettle full of old water, less than minimum cleaning supplies. Management was slow on responding and not very helpful. Hot tub is not on property, it's a long walk from condo. For the price We expected more. Heater.in room downstairs not working or.upstairs.fireplace.

Location ski in is great, close to Main Street, nice and cozy accommodation,
We enjoyed staying at lodge 28, it’s become a nice getaway with a great comfy coach and a warm fire place. Though there were few things that effected the whole impression, a dirty freezer and a fridge and a cook and an oven. We also experienced shortages of sauce pans and pans need to be replaced though dish set and variety of mugs and glasses were a bonus)) In a nutshell we did like staying there hope to be back next time.
