A charming and quaint historic apartment set among beautiful gardens, fruit trees and a park. A cozy and bright space filled with original works of art, the apartment offers a retreat-like setting for guests. The Bamberger Apartment is part of the historic Bamberger Station, a now historic center in North Salt Lake. The Bamberger Apartment is conveniently located close to downtown Salt Lake City and Bountiful, bus lines, SLC airport and many restaurants.

A completely remodeled apartment that retains the character and qualities of the historic Bamberger Railroad Station. A cozy and bright space, the apartment offers a retreat-like setting for guests. Guests are ensured a good nights rest with the bed that features a memory foam mattress. The living room is spacious and comfortable with a full sofa, seating bench, digital TV and walk-in closet. The kitchen is fully equipped, so guests can make a meal when they do not feel like eating out at one of the many restaurants located nearby.

Guests will park in the parking lot for the apartment complex and enter through the main entrance to access the Bamberger Apartment. Guests also have access to the seating area on a balcony that overlooks the Great Salt Lake and gardens on the property.

Guests will self check in when we are unable to meet you for initial entry, and enjoy privacy during their stay at the apartment. We live nearby and will be available to guests as needed. We enjoy meeting new people, sharing our art and Tai Chi, and we honor guest privacy.

The Bamberger apartment is located in a quiet residential area in the

heart of North Salt Lake. The hotel is surrounded by Hatch Park and

beautiful gardens and fruit trees on the property. Hatch park, located

across the street, has tennis courts, field track and a playground. Within

a few minutes drive, you can reach the Legacy Highway trial where you can bike or run for miles along gorgeous landscapes. The neighborhood has a great place for breakfast located only a few blocks away, grocery markets and many well-liked restaurants are within a 5-10 minute drive to Bountiful and Salt Lake City.

Major buslines are located only one block from the apartment, and there is easy access to the highway from the apartment. Downtown Salt Lake City is only a 10-minute drive and you can arrive in Bountiful within 5 minutes. The airport is conveniently located only 15 minutes away.

About The Owner

The main focus for the better part of my life has been painting and teaching Tai Chi. Tai Chi is an effective practice to find balance and harmony in life, and in time with less effort more is accomplished. I like to keep my life simple, maintaining our gardens and fruit trees, while enjoying travel to other countries and within the US. More recently, making jewelry has become a nice complement to my many years of painting. My wife Sheila and I also enjoy people, socializing at night with our many friends completes the day for us. We look forward to hosting you!

We fell in love with this property because of its architecture, historic significance and its location surrounded by a garden, fruit trees and a park. The historic Bamberger Railroad Station was a thriving area back in the day, and the buildings on this property have retained their charm and unique character.

What makes this apartment unique

We plan to offer private lessons of Tai Chi on occasion, so feel free to inquire about joining us for Tai Chi. Additionally, we will be opening an art gallery on the property and guests will be welcome to view artwork.

Cozy, clean and well located

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this unit so much that we returned to it on our way back into Salt Lake City. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The unit is clean, comfortable and has everything you need--including a breakfast stash of yogurt, eggs, apples and almond milk. There is a park across the street that was enjoyable for an evening stroll and the back patio is a great place to relax at the end of the day. The Mexican restaurant up the street was really delicious and affordable. Would stay again!

Nice Place 4 a Couple

Compared to a hotel room with a kitchenette this was nice to have a real kitchen with utensils. The kitchen had an electric stove, microwave, and a moderate size refrigerator. The bed was full size, small sofa, TV with HD antennae, and window AC. Bathroom was a shower/tub combo with vinyl curtains. Plenty of space to move around, cleaning supplies, and closet. Light traffic which we did not hear. Nearby park with basketball, tennis courts,covered tables, baseball diamond. Easy freeway access. 15 minutes to downtown SLC. We would stay again. Priced right with only a cleaning fee tacked on.

Private apartment in Salt Lake City

The apartment is on the second floor of the two story building. It is located in the nice residential area with convenient access to the stores, restaurants, and highway. It is about 15-20 min from downtown of Salt Lake City. The apartment was clean and convenient. However, I would recommend one improvement. The mattress was sagging and uncomfortable for two people.

Perfect for a short get away!

The apartment was very clean and had all necessary supplies with a few extra as well! I only wish we had more time to take advantage of sitting out on the awesome porch and drinking coffee. Building is in a great location in a safe area. Try the Sunrise Cafe up the road as well.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay! Sheila was very welcoming and had prepared the apartment so nicely. The decor was calming and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was a relaxing stop to a long road trip.
