Riviera Beausoleil Apartment - studio apartment sleeps 2 in Beausoleil, Monaco

The apartment has a large sunny terrace (9 metres square) and is furnished with table and chairs allowing you to dine al fresco whilst enjoying the picturesque sea view. Inside there is air conditioning, large sofa bed, dining table and chairs. Satellite TV numerous International channels available, and free internet WIFI access available. Modern kitchen and fully tilled bathroom including wardrobe and storage units. The use of bed linen, towel and utilities are all included. Hairdryer, iron, ironing board, clothes dryer, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, hob, microwave, crockery, utensils are available. Laundry facilities - coin operated washing machines and tumble dryer are available within the apartment block. Secure parking with individual private parking space for car 10 Euro per day. Communal roof terrace, garden and play area.

Monaco - Monte Carlo: Monte Carlo was named in honour of Prince Charles III. Based on the Mediterranean coastline it has a micro climate which offers over 300 days of sunshine a year.

Museums: Oceanographic and aquarium, Prince Rainier collection of classic cars, Napoleonic and Naval, Stamps and Coins, Automation and Dolls of Yesteryear and Prehistoric Anthropology.

Gardens: Princess Grace, Exotic, Casino and Japanese.

Churches and Religious Sites: Monaco Cathedral, St Devote Church, Chapel of the Visitation, Chapel of Mercy and The Church of St Charles.

Royal Interests: Princes Palace apartments and Place Du Palais.

Excursions: Should you wish to travel further a field trips to the medieval villages of St. Paul de Vence or Eze, the perfume factories of Grasse, Italy’s ski slopes and the boutiques and markets of nearby San Remo are recommended as are Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in St. Jean Cap Ferrat or La Villa Kerylos in Beaulieu Sur Mer. If you fancy a bit of shopping visit Nice, Cannes or the indoor shopping mall of Cap 3000 in St Laurent Du Var will keep you occupied with over 100 shops and over 3500 free car parking spaces available. Open Mon-Sat 10am - 9pm. Cap 3000 has everything to offer; Galeries Lafayette department store with top name designers as well as other retailers offering clothing and shoes, jewellers, perfumeries and homeware to sports stores, children's toy shops, florists, newsagents, confectioners and delicatessens. After shopping you can visit the beach which is directly outside the mall. All can be accessed by bus or train which is a beautiful run along the coastline.

How to get there: FLIGHTS - BMI Baby, Easy Jet, Ryan Air, Jet2 & British Airways as well as many other operators offer flights into Nice, please see individual websites for more information.

BUS - Monaco Express bus. No 110. direct from the airport to Monaco Tourist Office approx 30 minutes. Then take the HLM Tenao bus no.11 just a short ride which will drop you directly outside the apartment block.

CAR - All major car hire rental companies operate from Nice Airport.

Motorway (Autoroute A8) from Nice, take exit number 56 Monaco/Beausoleil or exit number 57 La Turbie. If travelling from Italy take exit number 58 Monaco/Beausoleil.

TRAIN - Nice to Monaco station approx 20 minutes, take Beausoleil station exit, taxi rank outside or walk to the apartment, approx 15 minutes.

HELICOPTER - Nice to Monaco transfer approx 7 minutes. Further information regarding flight times, prices and bookings can be made through Heli Air Monaco or Monacair websites.

Good residential lication but poor communication

Nice studio just 15 min walk from Monte Carlo Casino. Great view from terrace. Lots of uphill and stairs, so heads up if that is a problem. Owner of apartment very nice but does not live in France and answers email questions in a day or two. Poor communication from management company. Was told by building owners (not the same as apartment owner) she has made guests wait for keys before upon check in.

Owner's Response: The owners of the apartment have contacted the guest but as yet no response with regards to inaccurate comments regarding the 'building owners' and being made to wait for keys. The guest had no delays in being met upon arrival and departure at the apartment by our management company so we do not understand why the comment has been made. The 'building owners' the guest refers to are not owners but actually another management company operating in the building and who are in direct competition with our management company. We explained this to the guest but no response. The review should be about your own experience not what a competing management company have told her about our management company. We like to look after our guests and from experience we have found that sending in advance of arrival detailed documents including photos of how to arrive at the apartment from the airport, public transportation, places to visit, local amenities, access codes for the apartment and car park, laundry facilities, car parking document, directions within the building of how to reach Monaco Casino & Monaco Tourist Board all help the guests during their stay and they are very much appreciative of this additional information. Our management company has recently employed an additional member of staff. We do try our very best and pride ourselves on providing an excellent service.

In-house elevator

Two elevators in the building bring you directly to Monaco (or the car park).

Nice view of some of the older buildings and the sea.

Kitchenette could be equipped better but then the price is very low for the area.

TV channels limited almost completely to French and some Italian.

Easy contact with the owners, all in all commendable.

Owner's Response: We apologise for the inconvenience caused with regards to the TV satellite viewing card which was taken by a previous guest and the owners were not notified. The owners visit the apartment frequently so we like to ensure that all areas of the apartment are well equipped for ourselves and our guests. Following the guest review we have spoken with the management company and other guests who have since stayed at the apartment. When asked whether any additional kitchen items were required or needed replacing, both management company and all guests have responded positively with no further action required. The kitchen area already had a table with four chairs, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, two ring hob, fridge / freezer, chopping board, pots, pans, bin, selection of cooking utensils, table place mats, dinner plates, side plates, bowls, a selection of wine glasses, tumblers etc, bottle opener, cutlery for at least four guests, egg cups, collander, grater, bin, sink to name but a few, this should allow our guests to sufficiently self cater at the apartment. We always welcome guests feedback and like to look after our guests to ensure they have a comfortable stay. We will continue to monitor this and take action where necessary.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay in the apartement and everything is reachable by foot or public transportation. Accomodation is perfect and everything you need is there to have a nice and luxery stay.

Wonderful area and we had a private car park in the building.

Monaco is the place to be to have a perfect honeymoon or romantic holliday.

We will go back there, thats for sure and the contact with the owners was very nice and very correct.

The French town of Beausoleil formerly known as Monte Carlo Superieur is surrounded by history with beautiful architecture. The delightful Gustave Eiffel market, shops and St Joseph's Church are just a few minutes stroll down the main road from the apartment. Beausoleil is very well placed suspended between Monaco and Roquebrune Capmartin, Monaco's Lavortto beach is only a 10 minute walk. Nearby are some of the most beautiful and picturesque towns in France which are easily accessible; the Golden Corniche comprises of St Jean Cap Ferrat, Villefranche Sur Mer & Beaulieu Sur Mer, many celebrity homes are located in these area's. Monte Carlo is well known for its casino, gambling, glamour, super sized yachts and celebrities. It has plenty to offer to all ages and interests from the arts, culture, exceptional cuisine and high-adrenaline activities like the Formula One Grand Prix, land and water sports, beach and exhilarating nightlife all just minutes away.

Golf: The Monte-Carlo Golf Club is located on the lower slopes of Mont Agel, at 810 meters above sea level. There is a panoramic view of the Principality, the Cote d'Azur and the Italian Riviera; it is an 18-hole, par 71 golf course open everyday Tel: +33 04 93 41 09 11. Alternatively try miniature Golf a mini-course is available all year long in Princess Antoinette Park (Phone: +377 93 30 63 87).

The Monte-Carlo Country Club offers access to 23 tennis courts, a swimming pool (May through October), Sauna, Jacuzzi, Fitness, Squash, Indoor Golf Practice, Bridge and Restaurant. Ski: Nearest French ski resort is Greolieres Les Neiges - only 38 kilometres away, followed by Beuil Les Launes and Isola 2000 only 53 kilometres away from Beausoleil. Should you wish to travel into Italy Limone Piemonte is 51 kilometres from Beausoleil or alternatively try Entracque 54 Kilometres. Heli Air Monaco (Phone: +377 92 05 00 24) organizes day trips to the Alps, bringing you to ski stations such as Isola 2000, Chamonix, Courchevel, or Alpes d'Huez.
