Very large beach front with 5 bedrooms (2 ensuite), 4 living rooms, 3.5 baths

This is the perfect home for the large or extended family vacation, with not only 5 bedrooms, including 2 with ensuite bathrooms but 4 separate sitting family or game rooms plus a pool room! The unique layout offers areas to gather together as well as enjoy a private or quiet moment or two.

With the beach less than 100 feet away this location is a dream come true for everyone who loves to relax and play by the water. And being in the heart of Long Island Wine country, with over 40 vineyards and tasting rooms, many top rated restaurants, hiking and biking trails scattered amongst the picturesque New England villages there is much to attract and entertain all tastes.

The house faces Little Peconic Bay, part of the larger Great Peconic and Shelter Bay bodies of water that separate the North Fork from the South, more famously known as The Hamptons.

On the ground floor is a large open modern kitchen with dining area seating for 10, and which includes a working fireplace. Adjacent to the kitchen is a family room with flat screen TV, a pool room, powder room, laundry area and large attached garage.

One of the 2 ensuite master bedrooms is also located on the west end of the ground floor and includes it's own private sitting area with flat screen TV and French door leading into the garden.

On the second floor you will find four more bdrooms and two more sitting areas. Bedroom one has one full bed, one twin and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom two has one queen bed; bedroom three a bunk bed, the lower bunk extending to a queen futon if needed, and bedroom four has two twin and one queen bed.

There is also one additional full bathroom on the second floor and two spacious living rooms either side of the stairs.

Perfect beach vacation for extended family with kids

Clean, relaxing and spacious. Steps from the beach. Easy to go back for lunch or to grab something extra for the beach. House was perfect for a large family with kids. Two master bedrooms. Plenty of sitting/family rooms. Kids bedroom with toys and games. Xbox for the bigger kids. Sand toys and kayaks. Close to farms, grocery store, restaurants, vineyards. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Easy to get in touch with manager.

Great location, large and comfortable home, wonderful value

The house is very large, with four separate living rooms, plus a pool room as well as 5 bedrooms, and an enormous back yard with barbecue and plenty of seating, perfect for our extended family. Plus it is located literally steps from a sandy beach on Shelter Bay on the North Fork of Long Island. It is the best equipped and laid out home that we have ever rented . The community it is located in is quiet and friendly and very safe for children. The village of Southold with supermarket and some great restaurants is only a few minutes drive away and on the main Wine Country trail. There are almost 50 wineries and even more farms, so we were able to buy the best organic local produce, plus the freshest of fish at the local markets. We had a great time and didn't want to leave!

Lucky to have found this rental

was clean modern and new. Stayed with our 8 grandchildren and their parents on weekends. Had a great time apple picking , pumpkin picking and kayaking. Vineyards and wine were wonderful. visited downtown Southold and the great village of Greenport. Cant wait to get out of city and rent again next year. Very enjoyable and relaxing

Great spot for a relaxing family vacation!

My husband and I, along with our four children, and our good friends vacationed together in this home. There was a total of 4 adults and 7 children, and everybody fit very comfortably!!! The house really has 3 living rooms, so all the kids had a place to hang out after playing on the beach all day. Everything was supplied... linens and kitchen supplies, beach toys, beach chairs, xbox for the kids, barbecue. Really everything we needed was there! It's also a great area with lots to do. Both kids and adults were happy. And most importantly.. it was very clean!!! We look forward to going back when my husband is able to get some vacation time.
