Loved this house because of the super spacious interior. huge living room, huge kitchen dining, good size bedrooms. Great location just short walk to sea and into town centre so no need for a car.

Brilliant place to stay for a large group!

We were a large group of girls on a hen party and spent a long time looking for the perfect property to tick all the boxes. We all needed proper beds, lots of bathrooms, outside space, large lounge with plenty of settees, near the beach, nightlife and so on and so on. This place ticked every single box ! We had a fantastic time and could not have wished for more. The owners were so helpful too . All in all 10/10 for everything and i would recommend this place to anyone!

Great weekend away

The house was exactly as it appeared online. The communal areas were really spacious, the facilities were great and the house was very clean. Location was fab for all of the Brighton sights. We were a family party of 10, ranging from 7 months to 75 years and the property suited us all. Communication with owner and agents was spot on.

Perfect for a family weekend away

We normally have a Christmas weekend away in Europe but with young grandchildren in the party it is more convenient to stay in the UK.

The property was as advertised although 4 bath is a small exaggeration - there are two shower rooms, one family bathroom and a groundfloor toilet and washbasin. The kitchen area is spacious and with two full ovens, full sized hob and microwave there were plenty of cooking possibilities - there were also plenty of pots, pans, plates etc.

The first floor lounge area had plenty of room for the whole party and was comfortable. A few videos plus freeview tv meant everyone was catered for. The property was clean and well managed - the beds were comfortable and the linen was spotless.

The location was quiet even though a road ran alongside the property and it was less than10 minutes to the beach front and 15minutes walk into the town centre (bit longer trailing a two year old). There are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and general shops within a few minutes walk.

The family had fun walking on the beach (even though it was a very cold weekend), collecting stones and shells and then a trip to the pier to play in the arcade and have a fish lunch. On another day we had lunch in town and visited the aquarium plus another trip collecting shells and browsing the bric-a-brac shops near the front.

All in all a very pleasant family weekend for three generations relaxing together.

I stayed in the house together with 5 of my colleagues. We attended a further education course. The house provides enough room for privacy. The city center is only a few minutes walk away and the house was equipped with everthing we needed.

All of us enjoyed the stay at Southdown Mews very much!
