419, Key, is a Nags Head Sound Front Rental Home that features amazing water views, gorgeous sunsets, and close proximity to the ocean. With a private pier, guests can enjoy immediate access to the Albemarle Sound (water way between the islands and mainland), which is often used by water sports enthusiasts due to the shallow waters and optimal conditions. The back deck also provides tranquil opportunities to enjoy morning coffees to water views while nestled in the hammock chair, or take advantage of the on-deck picnic furniture for a grilled meal (grills also provided) while watching the sunset.

This Outer Banks rental home is ideal for a variety of family sizes, as it offers a spacious great room with a well stocked kitchen and many seating arrangements, along with four accommodating bedrooms (each featuring a Smart TV to log-in to favorite streaming sites).

Old Nags Head Cove is a wonderful OBX sound-front community with boating canals and has a central Nags Head location that is close to the beach (w/ lighted pedestrian cross-way), Jockey's Ridge Dunes (featuring a new bike path leading there), restaurants, historical sites like the Wright Brothers Memorial and Bodie Island Lighthouse, Outlet Mall Shopping, water sports, and so much more to keep entertained for your entire stay!

All of our homes in the Old Nags Head Cove Community have access to the ONHC Clubhouse which offers a Nags Head Sound-Front pool for $6 per person per day or $125 for the entire week for a group up to 6. The association also offers a club house, sound front picnic area, sound front basketball & volleyball court, a boat ramp on Albacore St ($40 per boat plus $10 key deposit), and a private sound-front beach access area.

With shopping, dining, historic sites, and ocean access only being a very short drive away, this well appointed rental home will keep you coming back year after year.

Nice place to stay

Good place to stay, location is near everything: outlet, market, beach… Wish the maintenance check is ready before renters are coming. Hope have more activities tool like: bicycle, kayak…

Good times!

The location was great for the sound. Quiet friendly neighborhood. The pier was perfect for crabbing and fishing. Our grandkids loved the sandbox below the house. What a surprise that was! Good layout of the house and the deck was perfect for beautiful sunsets. Loved it all! Thank you for a wonderful week!!

Best location!

This home had beautiful views, comfortable beds, and nice showers. When we entered, however, we had to open windows and leave for it to ventilate the musty smell. The house had clean tubs, toilets, and remotes, surfaces (counters). It was "surface" cleaning only. The house needs to be thoroughly cleaned and maintained as such to be an adequate rental, in our opinions.

Even better than it looks

Absolutely loved our stay here. The property looks unassuming from the outside but it's just perfect. The inside is one big room and then four bedrooms, two on each side of the main room and two bathrooms. Just perfect for our family of four. Absolutely gorgeous sunset views and lovely rocking chairs. Really easy to get down to the ocean front too. Totally worth the bit extra you might pay to stay right on the sound.

Great views

Great location with great sounds views. Convenient to malls, Manteo, Jeanette Piers. Only slight negative is that kitchen could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Otherwise great experience.
