Lovely Villa in a stunning location. Lots of lovely bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Water sports and activities available at the lake, great for kids. Only a 15 minute drive to Velez Malaga which has everything! Owner very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Nice big villa , lovely views over the lake

Lovely villa , 3 good bedrooms , big kitchen with all you will need . Living room has comfy recliner settees . Tv works well , We didn't spend anytime indoors as it was mid July and we wanted to be outside.

where you will regularly hear the bells of the goats being herded over the valley which is so lovely while your lying on a sun lounger . Pool

Is lovely and clean . Not very deep so no diving in but we had fun in it anyway . Aircon in the bedrooms works well and is needed in the summer ., all round good villa and lovely area to stay in .

Perfect return

We stopped here 8 years ago and loved it so much we booked it again to take our young children for break in September.

It was a perfect base for us to explore some more of the area.

The property has had a new extension since last time so a great place to dine in doors on the cooler evenings after the little ones were finally in bed!

The pool is super for kids as we could easily play with two non swimmers safely.

I recommend a drive to the coast as you will love Nerja and Torre de mar as a great places to eat and people watch.

My top tip would be go the BBQ bar in the village as I was put of by it look of the place but trust me the food is awesome and at a great price to make your euros go that bit further.

Can't fault it! Booking again!

Fantastic Place

We loved this place! It's on a small enough development to enjoy a quiet, relaxing holiday yet within easy distance of local amenities, bars and restaurants. The casa itself is immaculate and has all the necessaries to feel like 'home'. With ceiling fans in every room the casa stayed cool throughout the day, and the air conditioning, especially in the bedrooms, kept us cool on the hotter nights. The view from the balcony across the lake as the sun sets beyond the mountains is just stunning, and a perfect way to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Vinuela village is lovely, and has a number of good bars and a fine restaurant, La Vina, well worth a visit, as is La Cantueso in Periana.

All in all a great holiday, we would love to return if we can.

Wonderful Hoilday spot

Returned last week from Casa Del Lago after spending a wonderful week with our 3 boys aged 12, 9 and 6. The villa was exactly as described and was well equipped. Loads of space for our family and the surrounding area was beautiful. Lots to explore and only half an hour from the beach too. Highly recommend this villa and would consider returning ourselves.
