This modern, bright mews house provides accommodation for up to 9 guests in 3 bedrooms.
The master bedroom with 5ft bed is located on the ground floor and has a very unusual mezzanine bathroom with large bath, wash hand basin and shower. There is a separate w.c which can be accessed via the bedroom or the hallway. The twin bedroom which can be made into a double bed if required and the triple bedroom with a double and single bunk bed are located on the lower ground floor. There is a door from the triple bedroom leading to the enclosed patio with BBQ and table and chairs.
The shower room is located half way between the lower ground and ground floors.
The open plan living area is located on the first floor. It has 2 sofas which can both be made into large single sofa beds and a dining table. There is a large flat screen T.V with DVD, Freeview & CD Player plus a selection of DVDs, CDs and books. An all in one printer for the business traveller. The kitchen is spacious with another table and chairs, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and wash /dryer. Nesspresso machine and starter pods. Starter pack with tea, instant coffee and sugar plus washing up liquid, hand wash, toilet rolls, bin bags and dishwasher tabs.

There were nine of us and we all had a lovely stay and would highly recommend to friends. Ali was there to meet us and show us around the apartment. Apartment had everything needed for our stay. The garage is small but free parking from 5.30pm until Monday morning was a bonus. Would have no hesitation in booking again.
A warm welcome awaits and the location is ideal for central Edinburgh and nearby Stockbridge. We were very kindly provided with a travel cot as travelling with our young grandson. Many thanks and we would love to visit again.
Uncluttered comfortable smart accommodation near the centre of Edinburgh . Wonderful location with parking and space for bicycles . Will be back .
The only disappointment was the wine we requested wasn't the one we had chilling in the fridge . Never mind !
Overall we had a great stay in a perfect location. Everything was excellent except the cleanliness of the kitchen equipment, china and glassware. -

New Town is an ideal base for a trip to Edinburgh, the architecture is amazing and you can see so many things on foot, no need for the car or bus. The New Town has lots of great shops, including Harvey Nichols, George Street is only 5 minutes walk away. You will also find plenty of exciting bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the apartment.
Edinburgh's New Town is not that new. Built in the mid-to-late 18th Century, in response to overcrowding in what is now known as the Old Town, Edinburgh's New Town is a marvel of urban planning, combining elegant architecture with spacious and comfortable housing. New Town buildings are typically of a neo-classical style sometimes even with grandiose, graecian pillars outside and tall ceilings and decorative friezes and trimmings inside.
The interiors of most New Town residences, have been modernised as flats and office spaces. Even the mews buildings, that once housed servants and stables, are considered desirable properties.
However, the original character of the Georgian era New Town, with its cobbled roads, pillars, and sandstone block facades is preserved today thanks to building codes that stipulate even the wrought iron railings must be painted a specific colour - black.
