This new penthouse apartment on the development of Terrazas del Sol has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can sleep 6 people. Terrazas del Sol is situated in the upper part of Riviera del sol, (next to Calahonda) with uninterrupted views of the coast and the sea.The apartment is modern, very spacious and benefits from full air conditioning and is equipped with all mod cons including free Wi-Fi. It has two community pools and gardens providing ample space for sun-bathing. The apartment has a private sun terrace as well as a large roof solarium. It enjoys all day sun and the balcony is a great place to watch the setting sun whilst dining alfresco.

Inside, the apartment has been furnished to a very high standard with a very well equipped kitchen, Internet TV, DVD player and iPod docking station. There are 3 good sized bedrooms with the master bedroom having an en suite. All bedrooms have ample wardrobe space and bedside cabinets.

The outside is furnished with a good furniture and sun beds for six people

The Costa del Sol (“Coast of the Sun”) stretches along just over 150 kilometres of Málaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. With an average of 320 days of blue sky annually, the area is the place to enjoy white daily cleaned beaches and all types of outdoor activities such as golf, hiking, jet-skiing, sailing, scuba diving, horse riding and lots, lots more.

The Costa del Sol has something for all visitors no matter what your age or taste. A beautiful climate, good beaches with safe swimming, restaurants, bars, many golf courses, tennis courts, beautiful unspoilt countryside and villages away from the coast.

The Costa del Sol is also home to world famous resorts such as Marbella, Puerto Banus and Estepona so you can rub shoulders with the rich and famous in the numerous bars and restaurants. If you like shopping, whatever you are looking for, you're sure to find it on the Costa del Sol.

For families there are theme parks, including water parks.

There are lots of activities within 20 min. drive. In Fuengirola (10 min.) you find an aqua park, and an excellent zoo. The Tivoli World Centre in Benalmadena (15 min. drive) is an ideal day out - with funfair rides for children of all ages, or you can take the spectacular cable car ride to the top of the mountain. The new Selwo animal, marine, and adventure parks are located in Estepona and Benalmadena and there is dolphin watching and sea fishing off the coast.

A 15 minute drive takes you to the large shopping centre La Canada which has many high street fashion and retail shops. At Marbella, old meets new, traditions blend harmoniously with modern culture and comforts. Prepare to be dazzled by ritzy houses, huge yachts parked in swanky marinas, designer stores, stylish restaurants and bars.

The apartment is our holiday home and as such has been furnished to a very high standard and comes complete with mod cons and full air-conditioning. There are ample kitchen utensils and plenty of crockery and glasses to use. The veranda has a good quality table with rattan chairs and a luxurious 5 burner gas barbecue ( please fee free to use it but leave it clean otherwise a 35 euro charge will be deducted). There are six rattan style sun lounges for sun-bathing.

The views were STUNNING!

The penthouse is clean, modern and well equipped. The views are simply stunning. You definitely need a car; parking was never an issue. We had countless problems with the wifi and tv (and the water in the building went off for a full day) but our holiday was not spoiled by it. The owner and his parents are just so incredibly helpful and nice; nothing was too much trouble. If I was to be picky, it would be that the towels/bath mats need replacing and a coffee machine/cafetier purchased - we had to buy our own. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely holiday home 😊?

amazing apartment and overall experiance

This is our first time to book through Home away, and it was a fantastic experience. The apartment was better than we expected. It is modern, spacious and fully equipped with all necessary appliances, in addition to air-conditions in every room. It had great views of the sea with a huge balcony and a terrace. It is situated in the hills, in a very safe complex, and well maintained swimming pools . You definitely need a car to move around the area as it is a bit far to walk to the beach. Actually, a car is necessary in order to explore all Costa del Sol in general. We are definitely booking it again for our next holiday in Spain. The owner John was very helpful and cooperative through the booking process, they also provided a detailed instruction book to the apartment and the surrounding areas. Even though we didn't meet him, we met his father who helped us in and collected the keys.

Comfortable and very well laid out penthouse in an easy to get to location

We enjoyed the apartment in Riviera del Sol tremendously. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is easy to get to from both the A7 and from the AP7. The area around the A7 provides all the necessary shopping and restaurants you need for your holiday. The apartment is well laid out and the rooms are spacious. Both the upper and lower terraces provide ample opportunity to get out and enjoy the good weather with breath taking views of the Mediterranean Sea. The unit was spotless. The kitchen is roomy and well equipped. The caretakers were very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Riviera del Sol is one of the popular resorts located on the breath taking coast line of the Costa del Sol. It is located between Fuegirola and Marbella. Riviera del Sol is a mixed residential and holiday area enjoying every facility and services needed to enjoy life comfortably. Banks, restaurants, shops, supermarket, chemists, numerous golf courses and a country club are all to hand. Riviera del Sol has its own golf course (Miraflores), golf school, tennis club, lawn bowls and numerous golf courses and many other sports facilities are within 10 minutes drive.

The night-life in the area for young and old is fabulous. Locations like Puerto Banus, Nikki Beach, Marbella, and Fuengirola are all close by.

During the day there are many local markets including La Cala and Fuengirola that sell fruit and veg, clothes, gifts, shoes, handbags etc.

The Riviera Beach is within 5 minutes driving distance of the apartment and it has a good beach cafe/restaurant.

Golf: The apartment is situated between the Miraflores and Cala Nova Golf courses and has easy access to the AP-7 motorway and the other numerous gold courses in the area.
