Had a great time with the family. This location is really good for getting a feel for
Putney and also brilliant for visiting London and also Chessington.
The cottage is of a very well appointed standard and I would have no hesitation in
recommending Ivy Cottage to anyone. Also the arrival pack is very useful.
The response to my pre arrival questions could not have been better so if you would like
a visit to London then this is the place to stay.
Great little property, ease of parking really good.
Ideally located close to Central London, with easy tube, taxi and bus access in a beautiful cottage with secure, gated off-road parking, close to Waitrose and M&S too. Host friendly, welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. We were in London for work, rest and play and will certainly use again.
We have stayed in Laurel House before and loved it so much that we came back and stayed in The Gatehouse this time. The properties are in a perfect location, very quiet yet very close to the high street and amenities. Both the house and the flat are in excellent condition, being furnished to a very high standard. Barbara was very helpful and we had a wonderful stay, it was a gorgeous haven and we didn't want to leave! Thank you Barbara and family, we'd love to return! Kathy and John.
We were an adult family of 4 needing a car space in London. In the Putney mews cottage we achieved so much more. A private outdoor courtyard with table and chairs, beautifully comfortable living room seating and a fully equipped kitchen ( which we had intended to use - but ate out mostly). Everything was very clean and the decor was stylish but practical.
I loved the gated access - with the additional safety it provided, but the whole area where we stayed felt very safe and we felt very comfortable walking the short distance from train and tube stops.
Barbara and Simon live next door. They were very respectful of our privacy but close by should any issues have arisen. They didn't
Access to central London super easy. We found best option was a half hour non stop train ride using our Oyster cards. Supermarkets, dining and other shops also very close to our accommodation.
Many thanks Simon and Barbara
Great house in a central location and with lots of amentities. The owners were very friendly and flexible.
The only downside would be that the place is located under a flight path which is quite common for London though and if you are out and about for sight seeing it shouldn't be a problem.
