About Kevin & Cara Hogan
Both Kevin and Cara Hogan have been a part of Nashville and the music industry most of their lives. Kevin, a bass player and photographer, who toured with artists like Tanya Tucker, Waylon Jennings and Clay Walker, enjoyed a double career also shooting for several publishing houses in the Nashville area while on the road. Kevin began to tour less and shoot more when he settled down and married his wife, Cara Hogan. Cara has been an entertainment relations rep. working with artists for Gibson and Epiphone guitar for over 20 years. About 7 years ago, they combined their talents and purchased Spring Haven Mansion, a historic plantation circa 1825, which is one of Nashville's top wedding venues. The perfect combination of event planning and photography, plus a love of people, and a deep respect for history has landed them exactly in the perfect spot. Cara reciently found out that her roots go back to the Revelutionary War, her ancestor actually signed the Cumberland Compact and ironically also owned property touching Spring Haven.
Kevin & Cara Hogan purchased this Cabin in 2005
Why Kevin & Cara Hogan chose Hendersonville
Kevin and I looked for a property for years before finding Spring Haven. We would say, I want a property with a creek, with a cabin, private, close enough to Nashville, with a great history, on beautiful grounds. When we found Spring Haven, all our dreams and wishes were answered and we knew it was the perfect place to share with others.
What makes this Cabin unique
As you travel down the road to Spring Haven, you think 'Where am I going' then as you enter the gates you drop back into a time gone by, and your soul says 'Ahhhh'. Guests are always shocked to know this special 3 acre estate is hidden away in the middle of everything.

What a hidden treasures. A historical piece of heaven with a garden surrounding it.
Well appointed yet minimalist. A great place to concentrate and get away from the business. Wildlife abounds.
Thank you so much and happy holidays
This unique property so rich in its history was also very comfortable given its 1800 construction dateline. Kevin was such a gracious host. We shared a night of music playing guitars and hanging out. His interaction is based upon your desire. No question when returning to Nashville this civil war era retreat will be our first choice. A great find and stay. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much for your stay. We are such a unique property and it is wonderful to share it. Please let us know when you return.
This vacation was everything we hoped for. We wanted a cabin and this one was perfect. Built in 1800 with tons of history. The accommodations were perfect. A kitchen if you feel like cooking. We just made coffee and had BBQ every single day. Kevin the owner was more than helpful. Always there to answer questions or make suggestions. He also is a fantastic musician and gave my husband a lesson and some great pointers. I enjoyed just listening to him play. Definitely a relaxing stay with plenty to do in the surrounding areas. We even drove to Kentucky on a day trip. The place looks just like the pictures.
We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds, cabin, and main home are absolutely beautiful. The host was eager to greet us and tell us some history of Spring Haven. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
House was great!
My Husband and I loved the cabin. It was quaint and comfortable. The only issue we had was it wasn't as clean as I would have liked. It was apparent that it was hastily cleaned right before we arrived. The coffee table was sticky and there was a dirty wash cloth in the shower. Very minor considering how wonderful the rest if the cabin and grounds were.
The owner of the property was super nice and very willing to talk to us about the history of the property. The cabin was beautiful and very well maintained. Once you go down the driveway its like you enter a whole other world. It's right in the middle of town, but you'd never know once you're on the property. I would definitely stay here again.
Located just 25 min outside of Nashville, TN.
