Just minutes from the Georgia line and downtown Murphy, NC, in the Great Smokey Mountains you 'll find The Nesting Place; a cozy comfortable cabin tucked back off the main road with all the privacy and quiet you are so looking forward to! Winter or Summer, you have easy access, conveniently located near great mountain attractions, shopping and restaurants.
The cabin sleeps 4 adults comfortably with Queen beds in both bedrooms and 2 full baths.The spacious open floor plan is all on one level and handicap accessible. There is a covered deck off the living room. The deck is equipped with a swing, chairs and Weber charcoal grill for outside entertainment. There is a fire ring out back for roasting marshmallows or having good conversations, drinks and keeping warm on a chilly night.
For your furry house trained pet that needs a vacation too, we have provided a fenced in secured area, where you can let them out the door to take care of business, as well as the front porch to keep their water and food bowl and perhaps their bed for an afternoon nap in the fresh mountain air! ONE SMALL PET ONLY! No pets on the furniture!

The Nesting Place is equipped with internet access, telephone, unlimited long distance, satellite TV and lots of DVDs.

This location has many sites to see and enjoy including downtown Murphy with its small shops, dining, whitewater rafting, tubing, new casino, horseback riding, boating, fishing and golfing. In addition, the property is close to Blairsville, Blue Ridge and State and National Park areas.

Time to relax in the mountain

The cabin needs some improvements on the furniture very old and worn out. We did find the washing machine was duty with hairs , under the couch was dirty also . Beds were a little hard and they definitely need to change the pillows they smell . The communication with Cindi was great location was not bad we were able to drive to Fields of the Woods, Lost Sea Caves , Blue Ridge , McCaysville with no problem .

Just what the doctor ordered.

My wife and I were looking for a get-away and this cabin was just as advertised. We had a great time and we loved the privacy that this property afforded us.

Nice Cabin

Even though we had to leave earlier than expected, we found the cabin to be very nice. We enjoyed the location of the cabin tucked into a small neighborhood of 5 cabins. More importantly we were very pleased with Cindy who was our contact with the rental. She was very responsive and helpful in answering all our questions/concerns. Murphy is very quaint and neat town tucked in the mountains of North Carolina.

Cozy and Peaceful

Cozy and peaceful cabin. Great getaway place to rest and relax. Great location between Murphy and Blairsville.This was our third year renting from Cindy and she is great to work with! Enjoyed our week very much and already looking forward to next year.

Clean, relaxing getaway.

Cozy cabin, well stocked with conveniences. Nice location with easy maintained road access. Close enough to town with a choice of routes making it easier for challenged drivers.
