Welcome to our apartment. We wish you a very happy stay and hope you truly enjoy the place.

Here are a few things regarding our apartment.

Sunny 80 square metres apartment in Taradell. Walking distance to restaurants, cafés and amenities. Taradell is a medium size town in the heart of the province of Barcelona. Nearby Vic - 6 kms away -, is renowned by its old beautiful centre and its majestic square. Experience the real life of the locals, visit the weekly market in Taradell, just a minute from the apartment or the markets in Vic every Tuesday and Saturday. Go for walks in the forest, visit the Roman temple in Vic or its Museum, or spend the day in Barcelona and come back to a quiet place. And all of that at a very attractive price which you wouldn't be able to find in Barcelona city.


This spacious apartment is located in the centre of this historical town and only 60 km from Barcelona. Totally equipped. Maximum 3 guests. Lovely area. In a quiet area 2' walk to all amenities. The town of Vic is 5 km away; 50' drive to Barcelona and the Costa Brava, 1h20' to the Pyrenees and 40' to Tavertet and Rupit. The National park of Montseny is 10' drive. Great for hiking, biking, BTT or just walk. Enjoy the excellent gastronomy of the area. Close to Can Jubany restaurant with a Michelin star.


It's located on the 2on floor. NO LIFT. The area is quiet and it's 2 minutes walk to all amenities: cafes, restaurants, shops, bank, supermarkets, free parking, bus stop, etc.

This enchanting and welcoming apartment is divided into 3 main areas:

a large dining / living area that opens into a terrace;

a well equipped kitchen and

an open space bedroom, sofa bed area and a brand new bathroom.

The apartment has been nicely decorated in an eclectic manner with new and vintage furniture and decorations, all in all giving the place a personal charm.

It has thick brick walls and high ceilings with loads of natural light.

The apartment sleeps up to 3 people thanks to a comfortable sofa bed.


Guests have access to the whole apartment.

The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances including a gas stove and electric oven, a microwave, large fridge and a dishwasher.

There's also a kettle, toaster and coffee and tea plunge.

There are many pots and pans, plates, cups, glasses, wine glasses, cutlery, plastic containers and more.

The iron and the vacuum cleaner are in the long cupboard and the ironing board is behind the door.

The bathroom is new and clean.

Towels, toilet paper, soap and a hairdryer are supplied.

In the bedroom there is a queen size bed 160 x 200 with a comfortable latex mattress.

The double wardrobe has all bedding necessities and space to hang your clothes. It has wooden hangers.

The area is divided by another wardrobe with all the bedding for the sofa bed and the towels.

The sofa bed is also in this area next to a bookcase with books in various languages.

The dining area is very big with a table and chairs and a side board. Inside the drawers you can find serviettes and placemats. There are also some serving platters in the cupboards.

The living area has a 3 seater sofa with a chaise longue and a coffee table.

There is also a TV unit with a smart TV, a stereo and various games in its cupboards.

The terrace has a very nice view of the mountains and beautiful sunsets every afternoon. It's a nice time to relax with a nice glass of wine.

There are two white chairs, a small table and 2 Moroccan leather puffs.

There are clothes lines for hanging the washing outdoors or indoors.

The laundry is in the terrace and it has a ceramic tub and the washing machine.

The central heating system is also there. Please DO NOT TOUCH.


Taradell is a town of about 8000 inhabitants. Its made up of various small suburbs and it used to be very popular for summer holidays. The apartment is located in historical part of the town and only 20 metres from the Town Hall and the main square. The streets in this area are usually very narrow and it stops a lot of the traffic which makes it a relatively quiet area even during the day.

Most restaurants, cafes and shops are walking distance to the apartment. Between 2 to 5 minutes. Every Wednesday morning there is a small fruit and veggies market in the main square.

The main meal in Catalonia is lunch.

You can have a 3 course menu all inclusive for 12 or 13 Euros in the restaurants nearby.

Dinner is only 'a la carte'.

The people living in this area are mostly locals so you can experience real country life away from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. Yet, you can spend the whole day there and come back to a pleasant and quiet place.


Getting there by car:

There is a free open car park at about 200 metres from property.

There is also a blue zone in the Plaça de les Eras - Main square 20 metres from property. You can only park there for 1h30 minutes but it's also free.

Vic is 6 km away and Barcelona is 60 km away.

The coast is about 50 minutes drive and the historical towns of Rupit and Tavertet are also only 50 minutes drive.

Getting there by bus:

If you are coming from Barcelona you will need to get a bus from one of the bus stops (can send info via email) and it takes about 50 min to one hour. Get out at bus station and get the bus to Taradell from platform 10. It takes 20 minutes. Get out at the 3rd stop once you arrive in Taradell. It's the second village.

Walking to apartment takes about 5 minutes with luggage. (Can email timetables and directions on request.)

Getting there by train:

You can get a train from Barcelona Sants, Barcelona Catalunya or Barcelona Arc de Triomf to Vic. You must check that trains are going direction to Puigcerda, Ripoll or Sant Joan de les Abedeses with a stop in Vic. Most of the trains stop there.

Once on Vic walk to the bus station - about 50 metres and follow instructions above to catch the bus to Taradell.

Getting there by Taxi:

There is a taxi stand in front of the train station in Vic. Taxis are metered and cost between 16 - 20 Euros.

Getting from Taradell to other places:


There are buses to Vic and Barcelona almost every hour.

There are also buses to Girona airport from Vic bua station. Some Ryanair flights depart from this airport.


From Vic station. Trains every hour. It takes about 1h15.


The taxi stand in Taradell is at about 50 metres from the apartment or you can call the taxi driver on this number: (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).


The apartment is located in a residential area. Please be respectful of neighbours. Keep noise down to a minimum; especially at night and in the staircase.

Quiet times - 11 pm to 9 am.

Smoking is only permitted in the terrace. Please use ashtray.

No parties or pets are allowed.

Guests that are not included in the reservation are not allowed in the apartment.


This will be your home for the time booked. Please treat it as you would treat your home.

Please be mindful and keep the apartment clean. Take good care of all appliances and furniture.

The apartment should be left the same way you found it when you checked in.

Do not leave any garbage bags on the staircase. Evening collection rules on the side of fridge. (Or leave bags inside the apartment and we will dispose of them at the end of the stay.)

The apartment has all necessary things for you. You only need to bring your suitcase!

The apartment sleeps up to 3 people thanks to a comfortable sofa bed. However, don't forget that the sofa is near the main bed without any walls to separate them. A good degree of friendship is required to share this space.

We will send you an e-mail before your arrival with some general, cultural and gastronomic information. Please feel free to ask any questions.

We want you to have a pleasant stay!! Inside the apartment you will find a binder with all the house rules.


The thermostat is behind the living area door. You don't need to touch it in the warmer months.

In the winter months it will be set to 22 degrees and you don't need to do anything. The central heating will start automatically once the temperature inside the apartment drops lower than 22 degrees Celsius.

Please don't use more than 2 appliances at once in the kitchen plug near the microwave. The electricity cuts off.

If this happens the electricity box is located near the entrance door.

Remove the wooden box and turn on the switches that are down.

You will find a plastic binder with relevant information about the apartment, house rules, maps, nearby chemists and medical centre, bus and train timetables and cultural info.

Bien situé, au centre du village avec une belle vue

L'appartement est à Taradell, à 6 km de Vic, ce qui permet de profiter de la tranquillité d'un village tout en étant tout proche d'une ville. On peut acheter de la charcuterie et des fromages typiques, et aussi faire de belles balades dans les montagnes.

L'appartement est bien pour un couple. La vue depuis la terrasse est imprenable, il y a tout le matériel nécessaire (couverts ...).

Nous le recommandons sans hésitation !
