We stayed in the apt for 3 nights. It was really well located being on the edge of the historic. Jewish quarter and so close to the Schindler factory. The view from it was spectacular.
The apt was quite luxurious. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. All in all we were extremely happy with our stay.
Amazing apartment. Beautiful location.
The apartment is situated in a great location, overlooking the river and just a short walk to the town centre. It is modern and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It was spotless when we arrived and the beautiful views of the river, through the floor to ceiling glass windows, took my breath away. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout the build-up and duration of our stay, providing us with great restaurant and activity recommendations. I would highly recommend this property to anyone; it's beautifully presented, well located and hassle free!
Fabulous, clean apartment with beautiful views
The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable with all the facilities you could want. Located on the edge of the Jewish quarter with wonderful views over the river and walkable to the main square and castle. Plenty of nearby shops and restaurants too. The owner was very easy to deal with and very accommodating.
Ideally situated with all faciities close at hand.
This property is ideally situated with all amenities located within a short walking distance. However if transport is required there is a taxi rank around the corner and a regular tram service runs close by.
We found the apartment to be very clean upon arrival and appeared to be well maintained throughout with the manager on hand if required.
The City Centre is a great place to visit with its many restaurants and bars generating a great atmosphere for its visitors. This together with places of interest such as Wawel Castle, the many local museums, Auschwitz and the Salt Mines make Krakow a great place to visit, we will return sometime soon.
Smart apartment, great location
We had a great 10 days in September in Krakow. (2 adults, 2 teenagers aged 19 & 17) The apartment had everything that we needed. The apartment did get very hot when the weather was good, but keeping the blinds closed and the fans on did help. We were out during the day so wasn’t a huge problem. We did have an issue with the wifi but communication with Janet was prompt and after a bit of negotation with the polish wifi provider we were back online. It would have been good if there was a map in the apartment with maybe local supermarkets etc on it. There was one just around the corner, but we initially set off in the wrong direction.
We initially got a taxi from the airport (£20) to the apartment but then walked almost everywhere for the rest of the holiday. It was approximately a 20 minute walk from the apartment into the centre of the old town. We spent most of the holiday exploring the city. I loved crossing Father Bernatek footbridge every day. Because of where the apartment was situated allowed us to explore areas that I don’t think we would have seen if we had been nearer to the centre. We got the 2 day Krakow cards that gave access to a lot of the museums / attractions. With careful planning we made good use of them. We didn’t need the cards that included transport. The Salt Mines and Auschwitz are a must to visit. We booked them independently and sorted the transport out ourselves which made the visits a lot cheaper than an organised tour.
Once we worked out how the trams / buses worked, they were very cheap to use. You do need change though, as you buy the tickets from machines on the bus / tram. There are some ticket machines at some main stops but we struggled to find these. We were lucky and got a weekend ticket for all of us for approx. £5. I found a good website that showed the nearest stop to where you were and gave you all the times of the tram / buses due.
Food was so cheap and the portion sizes were big. We could easily get a meal and drinks for the 4 of us for £40. There was so much choice.
We would definitely go back.
Wonderfully maintained building and apartment
I would not hesitate one moment to use this apartment again: great location, views of the river, convienent to transportation and sightseeing by walking. Stores and restaurants all within a short walk.
Thank you James, you are welcome anytime.
