Surrounded by decking, Osprey Apartment at Red Kite House makes the most of the lawns and stunning woodland that surround the house. The new kitchen/dining room is beautifully furnished and well equipped with double electric oven, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and washer/dryer. The very attractive and bright lounge with its large windows and French doors to the deck brings the outdoors in. There is flat screen TV with satellite channels, DVD and CD player. All the bedrooms are on the ground floor, king size double bedroom with French doors to deck and bathroom with shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Double bedroom with en suite shower room, toilet and wash hand basin and Twin bedroom with en suite bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and wash hand basin. The outside decking area has garden furniture and BBQ and one well behaved dog is welcome by prior arrangement. Osprey is suitable for the less mobile, being on the ground floor and a ramp at the entrance.
Red Kite House is a spectacular and beautiful historical building, originally the old laundry, set in the heart of the beautiful Rosehaugh Estate. Recently renovated it provides holiday accommodation for up to ten people in two separate apartments, Red Squirrel apartment sleeping four persons and Osprey apartment sleeping six persons. Set on a hill top at the end of an avenue of mature lime trees the house is surrounded by a large grassy area, ringed by tall douglas fir trees and wellingtonia redwoods, providing a secluded and quiet haven. For parties taking the whole house, sleeping 10, a discount of £100 off the weekly combined rate is offered.

Red Kite House on Rosehaugh Estate is situated on the south of Scotland’s Black Isle, within 3 miles of the attractive fishing village of Avoch. An ideal base for touring the unspoilt beauty spots and attractions of the Black Isle, and the grandeur and wildness of the Northern Highlands renowned for historic houses and castles, along with distilleries and museums. There are many excellent walks on the Estate which is rich in bird, animal and plant life, a haven for birdwatchers and nature lovers. Inverness a city of culture is 25 minutes drive away, with its trendy bars, contemporary cafes and excellent restaurants. Visit the famous Loch Ness and Culloden Battlefield or explore Sutherland and Caithness and the rugged west coast. The east coast has lovely stretches of unspoilt beach and shoreline and a variety of small villages and towns. Visit Moray Firth famous for its dolphins or try a round of golf at nearby Fortrose or simply relax on the Estate and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.
