Hey Ria and Eftichis
We've loved staying in Flisvos, listening to the sea, draw in and out, watching the sunset over the mountains and seeing the sky change constantly. We are also loved visiting and touring around Crete-what a beautiful island you live in and your children have to grow up on.
Thank for your wonderful hospitality, you're made us feel like friends and we hope we are! We've loved the little found treats you've brought us and last night BBQ was lovely too! Overvall it's magnificent week and we're very disappointed we have to leave. But we will hopefully be back soon.

We have just returned from Crete after a lovely two week holiday, the villa was beautiful, clean and very well equipped. The owner Ria lives opposite and was there to welcome us on arrival with gifts of olive oil from their own factory and Raki!. She was so kind and very helpful throughout the two weeks, often taking us into kisamos, showing us the best places to eat/shop and even accompanied us to the local butcher to help us select meat. The villa was cleaned and fresh sheets every 3 days and when we left she was there to save is off and another gift of oil to bring home. We have already recommend to friends and they are booking for next year.
I would recommend car hire to explore, but local taxi's and buses are always available.
Everything was as described; we were met by the delightful, friendly owner and were pleased to note the provision of a few essentials like milk, water and toilet rolls - always helpful. The interior and exterior areas were lovely and well maintained, and we were right 'on the beach' - just as promised.
We loved the area, being fairly remote and quiet with good walks and many fascinating sites to visit within reasonable driving distance. The sea was clean, warm and safe. The only drawback was the brevity of our stay; we have already booked the property again!
Our 2 weeks in Nopigia was wonderfully relaxing and quiet with only the sound of the sea. Even in August the little resort was fairly quiet. Ria was a first class host, and welcomed us warmly, accommodating our needs with a smile and with charm. The little villa suited us as a couple very well with plenty of room to spread out. It was beautifully renovated and very well equipped. We lived mostly on the spacious, very private terrace which overlooked the sea and mountains. We had fresh towels and sheets every 3 days and the place was also cleaned.
A couple of local tavernas were just a stroll away offering fresh fish and cretan dishes at very cheap prices. We very much enjoyed the walk along the coast to the rocky coves where the scenery was stunning. Highly recommended.
Thank you Ria, we will certainly be back.
The location, the peace and quietness, the hospitality and kindness of the family, the view, the sea ... You will never want to go anywere else. We have been there 3 times and are most definitely going again
Siggi, Ralf & the 3 kids.
PS: I hope your little pups are all healthy! The kids miss them.
Flisvos is located in Nopigia, a beautiful seaside village on Kissamos bay, just 5 km east of Kastelli, the province's capital, and 30 km west of Chania, the prefecture's capital.
Ideally built on the beach front, Flisvos is part of Raisaki's fatherly residence which was founded in 1900 and recently renovated.
If you feel the need to truly relax and rest and wish to get to know - or renew your past experience - with the Cretan scenery, and its joys (people, cuisine, way of life) then your choice for summer or winter holidays will drive you to our wonderful lands. Flisvos and its hospitable owners, Ria and Eftihis, will be more than glad to meet you.
