About Mike

We purchased this property in 2013 and embarked on a complete top-to-bottom renovation. No expense was spared in terms of upgrades (slab granite, new fixtures, berber carpet)) or guest amenities (3 HD TVs, upgraded linens and beds). We fell in love with the location which is steps from City Park and so close to downtown.

Why Mike chose Denver

The townhouse is three levels plus underground parking with remote access below. It features 4 traditional bedrooms (all have bathrooms en-suite) an additional Study with private door and great balcony which can be used as a bedroom ( 5 private sleeping rooms), and 5 bathrooms. It is a great value and luxury for a family or travelers looking to share accommodations. It features three private outdoor areas, two of which are balconies facing west with views of the hospitals and a peek of downtown. It is extremely quiet yet very well-located.

For comfort, there is high speed internet and full cable.

Nicely furnished unit for a crowd!

We had a great stay at the unit! There were 9 of us and everyone said their beds were incredibly comfortable. Small kitchen, but we weren't doing much cooking so that didn't really matter. I loved that there were private bathrooms for most of the bedrooms. We would definitely stay there again if we needed a place in denver. Thanks for the hospitality!

Close to Downtown Denver

Thank you for sharing your home with us. The beds were super comfortable and having some extra bathroom amenities was really nice. We attended events at Sports Authority Field and The Pepsi Center and this rental was convenient to both locations. Also having a garage parking space was a plus.

Perfect stay

We rented this unit for our daughter's wedding. It was the perfect place for us. Walking distance to many restaurants and convenient to downtown Denver, where the wedding was. Also close to the Denver Zoo. The owners have furnished it very well and provide all the amenities you need.

Home away from home

Recently my family (6 adults from New England), and a nephew and his girlfriend from Seattle, met in Denver, Co. We rented a home from Mike. When we arrived there was a welcome basket of goodies waiting for us on the counter. The house was very accommodating in terms of space.It was clean, well appointed. The decor was lovely and comfortable.

One of the couples arrived first and had already turned the fireplace on and set out games for the large family style table. Before the end of the afternoon, we were all sitting around playing games and discussing plans for our stay.

It felt immediately like home. It was a chilly day that day but with the fireplace going it was warm and cozy. The rooms are spacious and the best thing for us is that we had 8 adults and the house is big enough that everyone can find a quiet corner of their own, whether it is their own rooms/suites or the balcony's that are on all floors. It was always quiet. We could not hear other people even moving between floors.

The location is, now we know, ideal. It is close to everything. Wonderful residential neighborhood of Denver. Walkable greats such as Broadway and into Downtown (longer walk, but doable). And not far from 17th and Laramer Streets, where there are a plethora of things to do (e.g. restaurants, bars etc.). The City Park (beautiful walking/running area) and the science center is within walking distance. It is close to the zoo and even the botanical gardens is not far. It's easy access to interstates so that if you want to travel outside of Denver it is convenient. We spent time in Colorado Springs and Golden. Both amazing.

My family and I have rented houses through HomeAway before and this is truly a gem. It is comfortable, convenient and Mike is a great responder. He is in touch without being an overbearing overseer. And if you need him for anything, he makes himself available immediately.

All-in-all it is one of those places we would all go back to and feel like we are always going home. Thanks Mike! We loved Denver and many of the towns surrounding it.

Adjacent to City Park one of America's most spectacular urban parks. Activities include golf, tennis, jogging, biking, Museum of Natural History, Planetarium, zoo, Imax, lakes with paddleboats, etc.

Denver's restaurant row on 17th street is a short walk from the property and includes many of Denver's best restaurants including, Vine Street Pub, Strings, Parallel 17, Lime, Watercourse (vegetarian), etc. They offer some of the best happy hours (try Parallel 17's Vietnamese egg rolls and Strings' reduced price gourmet wines).

Within walking distance are a new independent cinema multiplex, Tattered Cover bookstore and an off-leash dog park.

Downtown Denver, Cherry Creek shopping area, and countless other attractions are a few minutes by car or bike route.

The townhouse is walkable to Presbyterian/St. Lukes hospital, St. Josephs and is a short drive from National Jewish and Denver Health.
