About Bryan & Gina
Bryan & Gina
Bryan & Gina purchased this House in 2017
Why Bryan & Gina chose Endion
We began making regular visits to Duluth years ago and fell in love with the landscape, city and all there is to do here - from hiking, sailing, camping and skiing to simply enjoying the sounds of the waves and ships. Our kids fell in love with Duluth on our many adventures here over the years as well and now attend UMD. We knew that someday we would have to eventually call this place home. While maintaining our current home and this home in Duluth we are finally making it happen.
What makes this House unique
When staying at A Charles Weiss Home, the original woodwork throughout the home, along with the antique furniture and decor give you a sense that you have been transported back in time. If you have an old soul, this place is for you!

Very nice place!
The home is in a very convenient location to downtown and many other sites. It is an old house, but is comfortable and well laid out. The week we were in Duluth, the weather was incredible, so I cannot speak to the a/c or heating throughout the entire house as it was generally comfortable for the week. Rooms have individual window a/c units which we did run when we were in the rooms, but shut them off at night. Bathrooms in 2 of the rooms are incredibly small, but manageable. Overall, truly enjoyed our stay at this house and in Duluth in general. Loved being able to sit on the porch in the evening!
Very comfortable and spacious home!
This property has so much character and lovely antiques! We loved having 5 1/2 bathrooms! We had people in our party ranging from 2 years old to 86, and the house was great for us all! We brought along a toy bag for the kiddos-and this kept them busy. Kitchen had all the utensils you'd need to cook a gourmet meal. We usually ate breakfast at the house, then would go out for lunch and dinner because there is so much to do and see in Duluth! We ALL played cut throat games of pool in the evening after the kiddos were (supposed to be)in bed. We also loved coffee on the porch in the mornings. There is a quiet park/playground about a block north-which kiddos played on. We all enjoyed our stay!
Charming Historic House
Our family of 8 had a great time in Duluth and this property was perfect for our needs. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The porch was our favorite part. We just relaxed and enjoyed conversation and the North Shore breeze. Gina, the owner, was present during our stay and was so welcoming and cordial. She is working non stop to make this a great place to stay. The charm of the house is in keeping with its original era. With that in mind, there of course isn't a lot of natural light. The light fixtures are older and likely cannot accommodate the wattage we are used to. So, if you want to do a lot of reading, or need light to do puzzles or play games, consider bringing a small reading light with you. The dining room was a great gathering place with a table big enough for all of us. Some of the things we took in included a cruise with Vista Fleet, dinner at Grandmas, touring Glensheen, and golf at Lester Park. It was a fabulous time. I would definitely recommend the Charles Weiss home. Thank you to Gina for all your hard work and effort to make sure we were comfortable.
This house has great character and charm.
The location was excellent for walking to Canal Park on the Lakewalk. The house was full of interesting decorations and antiques that kept us looking around. The kids were convinced the people in the paintings were moving and watching them and the place was haunted which kept them busy all weekend . We were a party of 13 from 3 different states and the space worked well for us. Having a bathroom for each bedroom made our stay stressfree.
Wondeful day in beautifully preserved house!!
You will not be disappointed.......
Beautiful home for many to stay. Very comfortable and private with awesome entertaining space.
The house is incredibly charming, and comfortable as well. The beds and linens were nice, plenty of towels. It’s sooo nice that everyone has their own bathroom! We were in town for a family wedding. I was providing the cakes, and really needed the kitchen for final details and assembly; it was perfect! We loved having the common space to hang out. The billiard room was a huge favorite! We entertained many other friends and family, and it worked well as there are several gathering spots all connected.
Thank you Shelley for the wonderful review! I'm so glad that the kitchen met your needs for prepping the cakes and that we could accommodate your group and gatherings! We do feel we have a perfect home for special group gatherings and were thrilled you chose our place for your wedding weekend! Please come again!
